"I saw the ram charging westward and northward and southward. No beast [kingdom] could stand before him, and there was no one who could rescue from his power. He did as he pleased and became great." (Dan. 8:4)
It appears that ISIS seems to fit the bill of this description, of an empire before which none of the others could stand. ISIS in their conquests having been moving westward, then northward, and then turning again to the south. It seems that wherever they go, with all the leftover U.S. military suprplus, no one can stand before them.
As ISIS is bein touted a threat to America, American citizens are getting into an uproar and demanding something be done to stop ISIS and their barbarism. Finally, the U.S. Commander-In-Chief has decided he better take action against this group. But after the Iraqi invasion, which committed so many of our soldiers and resources for such a long time to Iraq, the president is not willing to commit any U.S. troops to the ground. But he is committed to destroying ISIS.
"As I was considering, behold, a male goat came from the west across the face of the whole earth, without touching the ground. And the goat had a conspicous horn between his eyes." (Dan. 8:5)
In scripture, empires or kingdoms are typified as beasts that seem to describe certain characteristics of that kingdom. Here, the goat described with a "conspicuous horn between his eyes." Could it be that this goat being described is the U.N., made up of many concerned nation states, whereas the "conspicuous" or "notable horn" is the U.S., which will be leading or carrying out the charge?
If so, what will be the fate of this outcome, declared already some 3,000 years ago from the cradle of Iraq itself? As we read on in Daniel chapter Eight, it tells us:
"He came to the ram with the two horns, which I had seen standing on the bank of the canal, and he ran at him in his powerful wrath. I saw him come close to the ram, and he ws enraged against hiim and struck the ram and broke his two horns. And the ram had no power to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground and trampled on him. And there was no one who could rescue the ram from his power." (Dan. 8:6-7)
So it appears that the Word of God declares the U.S. the winner in this particular situation, assuming the players are correct here. The U.S. defeats ISIS. It seems from the way the verses are worded, that there will be some attempt by fellow Muslim nations or jihadi groups to rescue or aid ISIS, but it all will be to no avail.
And the (Western world) will celebrate! And indeed it should!
"Then the goat became exceedingly great, but when he was strong, the great horn was broken, and instead of it there came up four conspicuous horns toward the four winds of heaven." (Dan. 8:8)
Now this part is NOT SO GOOD for the American regime! Though the U.S. is able to defeat ISIS, and none are able to help it, it appears that the long rumored threats against the U.S. are carried out, and in the words of scripture, "the great horn was broken, and instead of it there came up four conspicuous horns toward the four winds of heaven."
The leftover remnant of the U.S. is taken over by four other countries/empires. It's rumored that Russia is awaiting to attack the U.S., as well as China. Reportedly there are Islamic sleeper cells throughout the major metropolises in the U.S., as well as jihadi bases in South America, awaiting the 'day of jihad' against the U.S. And all these countries, maybe not in this way or order, will be used to bring about God's judgment on this great nation!
America has turned its back on God's ways and his commandments, and He was the One to raise her up, and to sustain her. Since our courts and institutions, and now the citizens themselves flaunt their rejection of God's ways... he will bring about an end to their power, and give her to other peoples.
If you do not know Jesus (Yeshua) as your Lord and Savior, call out to him to forgive you of rejecting His ways, rebelling against Him, and cry for His salvation. "For all who call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Rom. 10:13). The LORD God has been pouring out judgments and wrath, warning the inhabitants of earth, but most refuse to listen. And a decisive judgment will come against the U.S. if she doesn't repent!
