Does God Hate the Pope???

In one of my recent posts, we looked at the question of how God can love the world, but hate the wicked.  This brings us next to the highly controversial Pope of the Vatican, who is stirring up a lot of controvresy, by pronouncing some very unbiblical, unorthodox things.

One such pronouncement was last year in May of 2013, when the Pope came out and said that Atheists can go to heaven to, if they "do good".  So let's think about this for just a moment.  Isn't an Atheist by definition one who does not believe in God... and therefore does not believe in heaven?  Or is the Pope merely leading them to open up to the hypocrisy of the hidden truths within?  Or is it something more sinister?

Heaven, by definition, is the dwelling of God.  Therefore I can't understand why the Atheist even desires to go to heaven.  But I digress, even so, how did the Pope make such an anti-Christ-ian comment?  Is he of the anti-Christ???  Things that make you go hmmmm?

One of the major UNBIBLICAL doctrines that the Pope claims, is that of Papal infallibility, meaning that he can overwrite the teachings of Scripture, and even contradict it, because as the vicar of Christ, he is essentially, the person of Christ on earth!  What did Yeshua say about His Words, the Bible?  

Matthew 24:35

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

and again, this is uniform with the teaching in the Tanakh.

Isaiah 40:8

The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.

Uh-oh!  Someone should show that verse to the Pope!!!  But he's probably already got a defense for it.  In fact, he (the office of  Pope) has deceived millions of people down through the centuries.  In fact, one young Catholic monk came to understand that apart from the teachings of the church, the Grace of God when the Holy Spirit enlightened him to Romans 1:17:

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed [a]from faith to faith; as it is written, “[b]But the righteous man shall live by faith.”

This young Catholic Augustinian monk was born again!  Jesus said one cannot enter the kingdom of heaven unless he is born again (Jn. 3:3).  When the Spirit enlightened Luther's eyes to the meaning of Romans 1:17, he said, "It were as if the gates of heaven were opened to me."

So this young Catholic Monk, who found the treasures of heaven by renouncing immorality and self-effort, and being born again into a child of God, would disagree with the current Pope.  Yes... the protest continues!  And what did the words of our Lord say concerning those who may enter heaven?

Matthew 7:21

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.

Now the Pope is saying "Lord, Lord," and he is also saying "Mary, Mary," which is another unbiblical teaching for another time.  Soon he will be saying "E.T., E.T.!" when the alien disclosure occurs... as numerous Catholic clergy have made statements that supposed aliens, which they already know exist, as morally superior to us, and we should listen to them

Lord Yeshua taught concerning the day of Judgment, when all mankind, Barrack Obama and Vladimir Putin included, will stand before El Elyon and give account of their transgression.  And Yeshua taught,

Matthew 7:21-23

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many [a]miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

When the Pope, as leader of the largest church that claims the name of Yeshua, actively and unrepenting-ly teaches that unbelivers can go to heaven, that all religions are good, and that homosexuals can serve as Yhwh's spokesmen/prophets???  I dare say that the Pope will make it into the prescence of Yhwh.  It sounds more as if he is setting himself up for the kingdom of the Usurper, the fallen archangel known as the Satan (adversary/accuser) who will teach a humanistic doctrine that we are all gods (Gen. 3:5), to "do as you want will be the whole of the law."

Truly, Pope Francis seems to be filling out the expectation of many, both Catholics and Portestants, that the last Pope would be the false Prophet (or some said, Antichrist himself).

He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.

Revelation 13:11

How Do We Understand the Pope's Statement Regarding a Homosexual Priest?

The Pope made a very non-offensive statement about people involved in homosexual behavior.  The Pope was quoted as saying: "If a person is gay and seeks God and has good will, who am I to judge him?" the pope said at an 80-minute news conference with reporters on his plane as he returned from his recent trip to Brazil.

The epistle of 1st John tells us what a Christian is, what they look like.  But most Christians aren't aware of it because they no longer read Yahweh's word.  Biblical teaching is in serious shortage around the U.S.S. of A. 

5 This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth;  (1 Jn. 1:5,6)  

According to John, the beloved disciple, if a person claims to be in Christ, to walk with Him, yet continues to walk (live) in sinful behavior, he is a liar, and not practicing, or living out the truth.

In chapter 2, the apostle John explains: 3 By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; 5 but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: 6 the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

Jesus said, "The one who loves Me will keep my commands."  The Bible clearly defines homosexuality as sinful behavior, much as heterosexual adultery.  It is the words of the holy God, Maker of all, that condemns this priest that the Pope will not condemn.  So, as the Bible spells out, one who is living in a active, unrepentant sinful lifestyle is NOT in Christ.  They ARE NOT Christian.  They are clearly on their way to hell, purgatory excluded.  

There is a big misunderstanding of Christians and the issue of judging, of which the Pope is not helping to clear up, but adding to the confusion!  Paul instructs of the issue, by the Holy Spirit:

For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church?  (1 Cor. 5:12).

Christians are not to judge those outside the church.  God deals with that.  But Christians are to judge those within the Church, those who claim the name of Christ.  And if this priest is claiming liberty in Christ to live what the Bible calls immorality, he is a False Prophet.  Bold claims, but it's the word of God, not a homophobic cry of distress:  

If the Priest is a practicing homosexual, he is not a Christian, or he would repent.  "The one who is in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure."  (1 John 3:3).  If he is not born again, not of Christ, he should not be claiming the name of Christ; but this was going on in the Catholic church when Christians grew tired of the hypocrisy, lies and immorality going on in the Catholic Church, and Protestant Reformation began.  

When I speak of Christianity and Catholicism, I try to do so carefully.  I DO NOT think they are the same thing.  I think the Catholic church is the mother of Harlots spoken of in Revelation, and in line with many Catholic priests and theologians, I think the current Pope will turn out to be the False Prophet, the right hand man of the one-world leader, the Psuedo-Christ.

The Bible tells us that we are "saved by grace, through faith, and that NOT OF YOURSELVES; it is the gift of God, NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast"  (Ephesians 2:8-9).  Galatians 1:8 tells us: 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!  The "gospel" of the Catholic church has become something through the years, contrary to what the word of God teaches!

This Priest, and the Pope, seem to sound more like the World (1 John 4:5).  Of the World, the apostle Paul says:

10 as it is written, (that is, in the Tanakh)

“There is none righteous, not even one;
11 There is none who understands,
There is none who seeks for God;
12 All have turned aside, together they have become useless;
There is none who does good,
There is not even one.”  (Rom. 3)
