Editing your DNA - Pursuit of the Ubermensch

The other day on the Drudgereport, I read an article talking about editing your DNA in order to cure cancer.   This sounds pretty amazing, and it is!  Being able to identify and edit or manipulate base pairs within the human genenome is a huge, amazing step forward in science and the study of genetics!  This holds amazing hope for those with dastardly diseases previously thought incurable, or nearly so.

But where is all of this leading us?  The article at independent.co.uk says:

The success is the latest achievement in the field of genome editing. This has been transformed by the discovery of Crispr, a technology that allows scientists to make almost any DNA changes at precisely defined points on the chromosomes of animals or plants. Crispr – pronounced “crisper” – was initially discovered in 1987 as an immune defence used by bacteria against invading viruses. Its powerful genome-editing potential in higher animals, including humans, was only fully realised in 2012 and 2013 when scientists showed that it can be combined with a DNA-sniping enzyme called Cas9 and used to edit the human genome.

So, supposedly, scientists are able to identify the unhealthy mutation in your geme, and edit - or rewrite it, to eradicate the disease!  Sounds great doesn't it?  But in this age of cloning and designer babies, will rewriting the gene stop here?  It's already gone far beyond that, but they will slowly, gradually introduce to the human community.  Possibly through a great health epidemic, it will be required of all people, and in some way required from the One World leader who is shortly to arise in the midst of us.  The Bible tells us that such will happen.

Revelation 13:16-18  16 And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead,  17 and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.  18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six. 

I'm sure that many remember the popular movie X-Men, individuals, who due to a (small) genetic mutation in their genes (now some of you say, Ah-ha!) they develop curious and strange, even freaky traits, which gives them super abilities to fight crime and pursue the betterment of mankind (of course).  And these new "mutants" are super-humans, but as the movie implies, they are "better."    As Magneto said to the young rebellious teen who could manipulate fire, "You are a god!"

Through medical experimentation and breeding programs, as well as world-wide conquest, Hitler sought to bring about not just blond-haired, blue-eyed people, but something far more sinister; the Ubermensch, a race of super-human gods that ruled life on this planet.  It was the predicted outcome for human life in the teachings of Madame Blavatsky.  His now known breeding program was called Lebensborn.  Click here or here to read of some of the traumatic results of the government sanctioned results to bring about a super-race.  To read about the Occult foundations of the Nazi regime, or the New Age, click here.

Has human science now brought us to the place where this is indeed possible?  Indeed, as the Elohim said in  "Genesis 11:6   6 The LORD said, "Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them."  We have the one language of binary code (a.k.a. the internet) which enables all of us to communicate together, to translate foreign concepts and ideas quickly into another culture's framework.  And now, it appears, nothing shall be impossible for us!  We shall become gods!  That is, all who accept this genetic change to their dna.

But what most people don't realize, even a number of pastors, is that humans are created in the image of God, the imagio dei!  When we start re-writing the imagio dei, we are rewriting AND changing this imagio, into what we think will be an improvement, us limited mortals who have such imperfect knowledge and little wisdom.

We are told in Genesis 10, about the founder of Babel (and it's tower), Nimrod, that he became a "mighty on on the earth".  'Mighty one,' gibborim, is the same Hebrew word used of the Nephilim, the genetic offspring of the angels who left heaven and married the daughters of Adam to produce offspring, who were giants on the earth.  The book of Enoch describes this event, which Gen. 6:2-4 only hits the highlights- 

Chapter 7

1 And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one,
and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms

2 and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. And they
3 became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: Who consumed
4 all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against
5 them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and
6 fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.

Can modern science finally be able to achieve Hitler and Madame Blavatsky's goal, a race of ubermensch, of hybrid gods?  And this new science will be, and is, being passed off in the name of science, in the name of saving humanity, while quitely silencing the dissenters forever.

And this is what the Scripture tells us will happen:

Daniel 2:40-43  40 "Then there will be a fourth kingdom as strong as iron; inasmuch as iron crushes and shatters all things, so, like iron that breaks in pieces, it will crush and break all these in pieces.  41 "In that you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, it will be a divided kingdom; but it will have in it the toughness of iron, inasmuch as you saw the iron mixed with common clay.  42 "As the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of pottery, so some of the kingdom will be strong and part of it will be brittle.  43 "And in that you saw the iron mixed with common clay, they will combine with one another in the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, even as iron does not combine with pottery. 

For the hopeful part of this passage, read on Daniel 2:44-45.  
Daniel 2:44-45   44 "In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever.  45 "Inasmuch as you saw that a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands and that it crushed the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold, the great God has made known to the king what will take place in the future; so the dream is true and its interpretation is trustworthy."

Five Reasons why Pastors Should Teach on the Nephilim.

It seems that for some reason, many pastors are afraid to teach on the Nephilim.  Obviously they are taught in scripture.  The Bible teaches that there were giants in the earth, before the global flood which destroyed all life except that in the ark, and they were here after the flood.  Some pastors may be hesitant to preach on it, maybe because of their busy schedule, and they just do not feel equipped enough to teach on the subject.  Some may feel that if they start teaching that angels came down and slept with women, and gave birth to giants, that it would make them look like fools in society, and they want to avoid the appearance of “being off their rockers”.

Having studied the scriptures with my eyes open, I see just how prevalent these hybrid breeds of beings were throughout the Old Testament.  Jesus clearly believed it, and affirmed it;  He said to the Father, in prayer before the disciples, “Your word, O LORD, is truth” (Jn. 17:17).  Some may not think that it makes a difference not to teach on the existence and proliferation of the Nephilim in scripture.  But before I go any further, let us take a look at the references and descripitions of these beings.

Scriptures:

Amos 2:9   9 "Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, though his height was like the height of cedars.  And he was strong as the oaks; I even destroyed his fruit above and his root below

Numbers 13:22   22 When they had gone up into the Negev, they came to Hebron where Ahiman, Sheshai and Talmai, the descendants of Anak  were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)

Numbers 13:28-29  28 "Nevertheless, the people who live in the land are strong, and the cities are fortified and very large; and moreover, we saw the descendants of Anak there.  29 "Amalek is living in the land of the Negev and the Hittites and the Jebusites and the Amorites are living in the hill country, and the Canaanites are living by the sea and by the side of the Jordan."

Deuteronomy 2:10-12  10 (The Emim lived there formerly, a people as great, numerous, and tall as the Anakim.  11 Like the Anakim, they are also regarded as Rephaim, but the Moabites call them Emim.  12 The Horites formerly lived in Seir, but the sons of Esau dispossessed them and destroyed them from before them and settled in their place, just as Israel did to the land of their possession which the LORD gave to them.)

Deuteronomy 2:20-21   20 (It is also regarded as the land of the Rephaim, for Rephaim formerly lived in it, but the Ammonites call them Zamzummin,  21 a people as great, numerous, and tall as the Anakim, but the LORD destroyed them before them. And they dispossessed them and settled in their place,

Deuteronomy 2:24-25   24 'Arise, set out, and pass through the valley of Arnon. Look! I have given Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land into your hand; begin to take possession and contend with him in battle.  25 'This day I will begin to put the dread and fear of you upon the peoples everywhere under the heavens, who, when they hear the report of you, will tremble and be in anguish because of you.'

Deuteronomy 9:1-2  "Hear, O Israel! You are crossing over the Jordan today to go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than you, great cities fortified to heaven,  a people great and tall, the sons of the Anakim, whom you know and of whom you have heard it said, ‘Who can stand before the sons of Anak?'

Judges 1:20   20 Then they gave Hebron to Caleb, as Moses had promised; and he drove out from there the three sons of Anak.

Joshua 9:1-2  Now it came about when all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill country and in the lowland and on all the coast of the Great Sea toward Lebanon, the Hittite and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, heard of it,  2 that they gathered themselves together with one accord to fight with Joshua and with Israel.

Joshua 15:14   14 Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak: Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai, the children of Anak.

Joshua 21:11   11 Thus they gave them Kiriath-arba, Arba being the father of Anak (that is, Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, with its surrounding pasture lands.

1 Samuel 17:4   4 Then a champion came out from the armies of the Philistines named Goliath, from Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.

1 Chronicles 20:5-6  5 And there was war with the Philistines again, and Elhanan the son of Jair killed Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the shaft of whose spear was like a weaver's beam.  6 Again there was war at Gath, where there was a man of great stature who had twenty-four fingers and toes, six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot; and he also was descended from the giants.

1 Chronicles 20:8  8 These were descended from the giants in Gath, and they fell by the hand of David and by the hand of his servants.

1. It robs God of His glory!  The wonders and miracles did not cease in Egypt, when God brought the plagues against Pharaoh and on all Egypt through His servant Moses.  Also, through Joshua, the Lord delivered the land of Canaan from the multiple Nephilim tribes into the hands of the Israelis.

2. It shows Yahweh’s power and greatness using these small, five foot Jewish men to battle giants as tall and as strong as trees (Amos 2:9).  It is consistent with Paul’s teaching in 1 Cor. 1:27: “God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong.”

3. It helps Believers be better equipped to stand in this coming age:  Many are coming to a knowledge of the historical giants, beginning to uncover, or rediscover the knowledge of this mutant breed of beings that lived throughout the world in historical times.  It is shown and taught on the History Channel, as well as other New Age media, being used to lay the foundation for the great deception.

4. Rediscovering this truth helps the believer to make sense of history, with alleged gods coming down from heaven, falling in love with women, and giving birth to semi-divine offspring, which were later worshipped by most cultures as gods and semi-divine beings, being reintroduced today under neo-paganism, but being completely in line with what Jesus said, “For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah” (Mt. 24:37).  

These are just a few reasons why I believe the pastor should not shy away from proudly standing on and decrying the LORD’s counsel!  Can a believer get by without an understanding of the Nephilim, and the clear teaching of scripture?  Yes.  But he is also deprived of the depth of the riches of God’s word.  The Apostle Paul tells us: “All scripture is God-breathed, and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God will be adequate, ready for every good work.”  If you don’t have some of the Truth in your arsenal, can you be adequate?  

Pastor, if you recognize the deception of the world, why do you not teach God’s truth?  

Do you value your ministry more than your relationship with Jesus?

Do you value people’s opinion of you more than teaching God’s word in truth?  What means more to you?
