Genesis 6:1-4 About the Nephilim Detailed in Enoch

In Genesis chapter 6 we have somewhat of an enigma, denied or explained away by much of the church in these last days.  But the book of Enoch, known and read by Y'shua and his disciples, quoted and referred to (according to J. Lumpkin, hundreds of times) in the pages of scripture, details the actions of the fallen watchers to do this deed.  In Gen. 6 we read:

Then the sons of God saw the daughters of humankind, that they were beautiful. And they took for themselves wives from all that they chose. And Yahweh said, “My Spirit shall not abide with humankind forever in that he is also flesh. And his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” The Nephilim were upon the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God went into the daughters of humankind, and they bore children to them. These were the mighty warriors that were from ancient times, men of renown. 

In the book of Enoch we read more detail as to what really happened:

Chapter 6

1 And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters.
2 And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men
3 and beget us children.' And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not
4 indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.' And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations
5 not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.' Then sware they all together and bound themselves
6 by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn
7 and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And these are the names of their leaders: Samlazaz, their leader, Araklba, Rameel, Kokablel, Tamlel, Ramlel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal,8 Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaq1el, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens.

And so we see the 200 watchers descended on Mt. Sermon.  At the base of this mountain is where Yeshua asked his disciples (talmidim) "Who do men say that I am?" against a backdrop of pagan temples.  Today Mt. Today, Mt. Hermon, whilst a tourist location, also has a U.N. facility creating the top, likely in location of the portal the angels used to descend to enact their desire. Messiah Yeshua told us, Matthew 24:37
"But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

The Pope says Baptism is for... Martians???

That's right... he said it!  "Baptism is for everyone, even Martians"  Now, not hearing the announcement, it sounds like it could have been meant as a exaggeration to emphasize a point, but really?  Why use that choice, unless something were up.  And we know that something IS up, as the Vatican owns the largest Binocular Telescope in the world, where, according to the research of Tom Horn and Cris Putnam, the Vatican has been "viewing" UFOs almost nightly on their infrared telescope named Lucifer.

The Aliens are coming, the Aliens are coming... no, I'm not Chicken Little!  I say this with good authority from the Word and wisdom of God.  Lord Yeshua said that the last days would be like the days of Noah.  Well, as Genesis 6 only gives us a small snippet of what was going on in the lifetime of Noah (the sons of God marrying the daughters of men, begetting giants/Nephilim and hybrids), the Jewish historical book of Enoch fills us in on more of the details that we miss from the Canon of Scripture.

The importance of all this is that the deception that is coming on the earth is in FULL SWING(!), and right on schedule.  The Nephilim, that have been living among us, around us, the demons and the fallen angels have been slowly working their way back into the public mind and sight.  And as the Pope says something like this, you can be sure the unveiling of the demonic deception is close.

Sermon series 1: What are the Nephilim?

I realize that most of my audience are familiar with the Nephilim, but sadly, most Christians in our churches are not.  This is the first in a series of four that I'm working on to introduce and explain to the people of the Church about the Nephilim, and the Satanic agenda behind it.

What are the Nephilim?  (Part 1 of 4 Series)

Earlier this week I was watching a show on TBN or CBN, one of those channels, which was going through some of the Old Testament Biblical stories, and they had a really neat take on Noah and his family, and their experience building and being on the ark.  Noah was played by John Houston.  It was real funny seeing them on the ark, sleeping with the chimpanzees, and seeing Noah getting cornered in by the Elephant to rub his chest!  Haha, he couldn't get away.

But like most stories, movies, or tales about Noah’s ark, it didn't deal with what I think one of the most wicked aspects of that era was, and I believe that same thing is happening today.  In fact, in Matt. 24:37, Jesus tells out point blank that the last days are going to be like the days of Noah! 

Now, I don’t know about most of you, but I believe the LORD is about to return for His bride, don’t you?  I mean, We are living in the end times!  All the Biblical Prophecy is being fulfilled!  And we see some pretty strange things going on around us!  There are some really weird things going on…

How many of you remember:

1.      the Cloning of dolly the sheep...

2.     Growing human organs on animals...

3.     Injecting animals with human genes (rats with human intellect, or talking animals) in the name of advancing science – to cure disease!

4.     Weird mixed breed monsters wash ashore on beaches...

5.     Information of human chimeras leaked out...

6.     UFO cattle mutilations and abductions (women violated/impregnated)...

I’m sure most of you are familiar with Creation Scientist Ken Ham, and His well-known ministry, Back to Genesis.  He has a line I like that states that “Every major Christian doctrine is found in the first 11 chapters of Genesis.”  As I have studied and learned the scriptures, I have become convinced that without a knowledge and good understanding of what the Book of Beginnings teaches, we will not be able to understand our end, or what the parts of the Bible that speak about the end time tell us is going to happen.  God put it in scripture, and therefore it is His will for us to understand it, to seek Him out and grow in our understanding of what will take place.  The Spirit told us “That all scripture is God-breathed, and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”

The world, and society tells us how we are moving into a new age, and it permeates our society.  From Yoga, which is a Hindu form of worship, being promoted on TV and social media as the new hip way of exercising, being healthy and finding peace in your life.  And what is the goal of Yoga?  It is based on the Eastern religious mindset of death and reincarnation.  Their belief is that there is no personal God, that what is called god IS the Universe, the same thing as “the force” on the popular movie series Star Wars, where there is one force, which has both a good side, and a dark (evil) side.  What does the Bible tell us about God?  It tells us that God is personal and distinct or separate from His creation.  It also tells us:

1 John 1:5-6   ⁵ This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.  ⁶ If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth;

But Yoga is part of a religion that teaches we are caught in a endless cycle of deaths and rebirths, and our current state of life is based on the amount of Karma (another idea promoted in our age) whether good or bad, from the previous life.  It is works based.  But in Yoga, not only are you supposed to calm yourself, you are supposed to eventually reach the goal where you still your heart, completely!  It’s goal is to die, to exit this life in attempt to find escape!  This is a clear sign that this religion is not of God, but of his enemies, the forces of death.  The only thing a person using this exercise to find release, will find is two dark angels waiting to take them to Hades to be held for judgment! The forces of death are at work all around us in our society.  All of you are familiar with Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death…”  Proverbs 8:36 is another way to restate the first part of that verse.  It says:

Proverbs 8:36   ³⁶ "But he who sins against me injures himself; All those who hate me love death."

And the Bible tells us that the result of our sin is death in Romans 6:23.  And the meaning of this verse goes beyond what our “scientific and enlightened” understanding allows for.  This is not talking merely about the ceasing of life, when one ultimately dies, but is talking about the process of dying, of death working its way in your body.  Sickness IS death!  You know how when someone gets a bad case of the flu, and they are laid up in bed, thermometer sticking out of their mouth, eyes swollen, nose runny, they don’t have energy to move?  What do they say?  “I feel like death!”  Sickness is death!  And sicknesses and diseases are various manifestations of death working its way in our lives.  The Bible tells us that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life.  The real God is a God of life! 

In this message we are going to look at some of the proponents of these forces of death, of evil, that have been affecting and afflicting humanity throughout the ages, and are coming back in a strong way.   

In the scriptures there is a passage not agreed upon today by Christians.  It used to be agreed upon by the Church, but when the scientific enlightenment took hold, the passage fell into political disfavor, as the Church tried to remain relevant in the wake of the discovery of scientific knowledge.  (Isn’t it just like man to trust himself over what God has already told us?)

This passage I’m speaking of today, is Genesis 6, where it speaks of the Sons of God lusting over the daughters of men, and taking for themselves wives and producing offspring.  It says in the very next verse that “the Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward (meaning the days before the flood, and also afterward).  They were the mighty men, men of renown.”

Genesis 6:2-4   that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.  ³ And the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years."  ⁴ There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

Now this is where the controversy comes in, there are two different prevailing interpretations of this verse.  The first camp says that this is nothing supernatural, the “sons of God” spoken of here is the sons of the righteous line of Seth getting married to the wicked daughters of the line of Cain.  I see two problems with this theory. 

1.     First of all, the Bible is a supernatural book!  It’s author is supernatural;  it frequently speaks of angels interacting with the earth and mankind, either carrying out God’s commands or rebelling against His commands. 

2.     If the “Sons of God” was the righteous line of Seth, why were the offspring born to them monstrosities?  The Septuagint, the oldest translation of the Bible into Greek, translates this term as gigantes or Giants!  Did you know the Bible says the earth was inhabited in part by Giants?

During the time of the Scientific enlightenment, men began to test many things to see whether they were superstition and much skepticism was introduced, even towards the Bible.  Much of the skepticism was healthy, but in the age of “Enlightenment,” it was carried too far in regards to Biblical doctrines.

The Second camp looks to see how the phrase “sons of God,” )the b’nai ha elohim),  is used elsewhere in scripture.  In all its other uses in the Bible, this phrase, b’nai ha elohim, is always used speaking of angels.

In Job:

Job 1:6-7   ⁶ Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them. 

Job 2:1  Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

Job 38:6-7 speaks of when the B’nai ha Elohim were present at creation.  God questions Job, speaking of the earth:  ⁶ To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone,  ⁷ When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy?

So these “sons of God” in Genesis we are told looked at the daughters of men, and bore children to them.  Now the King James, and the Septuagint, the first translation of the Hebrew Bible into Greek, translates the Hebrew Nephilim into the word ‘giants.’  The Bible tells us that the world was full of giants! And it says that “these were the men of old, men of renown!”

We all learned in school growing up about the ancient mythologies and religious worship of the Babylonians, the Romans, Greek and European cultures, that they all worshiped gods which came down from heaven and fell in love with human mortal women, and through them bore children who were semi-gods!  History makes sense when it is viewed through a Biblical lense!

Most people know the story of David and Goliath, where the little shepherd boy David is able to kill the 9 ft. tall giant called Goliath with a stone in his sling.  And when Goliath fell to the ground, David took out his sword and cut off his head.  Most people don’t realize how Goliath came about, they just think he was a freak of nature, with super-human size!  But he, and his four brothers were descendants of a giant mentioned in the Bible named Anak.

Most people don’t realize it, but the books Genesis through Joshua are filled with stories about the giants.  Not only did they live on earth before the flood, but Genesis 6:4, says “they lived on the earth in those days, and also afterward!”  So evidently, the work the angels had been doing before the flood, continued in some way after the flood. 

In Deuteronomy 2, recounting the Israelites wanderings, Moses is telling the young Israelites of what their people has gone through.  In this summary account, you can see some of the encounters and evidence of these giants living in the land.

Deuteronomy 2:9-11   'Do not harass Moab, nor contend with them in battle, for I will not give you any of their land as a possession, because I have given Ar to the descendants of Lot as a possession.' "  ¹⁰ (The Emim had dwelt there in times past, a people as great and numerous and tall as the Anakim.  ¹¹ They were also regarded as giants, like the Anakim, but the Moabites call them Emim.

Deuteronomy 2:19-21   ¹⁹ 'And when you come near the people of Ammon, do not harass them or meddle with them, for I will not give you any of the land of the people of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the descendants of Lot as a possession.' "  ²⁰ (That was also regarded as a land of giants; giants formerly dwelt there. But the Ammonites call them Zamzummim,  ²¹ a people as great and numerous and tall as the Anakim. But the LORD destroyed them before them, and they dispossessed them and dwelt in their place,

v. 24 – Speaks of Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon.  And whenever he is mentioned, Og is not far behind.  You remember him, the one whose bed was fourteen feet long! 

Deut. 3:1-4 speaks of the Israelites coming against Og, king of Bashan.  But the LORD told Moses not to be afraid of Og and his people, for he would give them over to him as he did to Sihon, his sons and all his people.

So whenever we think about the Israelites conquering the promised land, they were conquering the land of the descendents of the Nephilim.  This is where Satan was trying to establish his kingdom, in the land of Israel(!) and remake man in his image, and I think there is evidence to show that what Satan was producing is what Elohyim called in Genesis 3:15, “the seed of the serpent.”

And just as we would expect, in the Biblical accounts that have worldwide impact, such as the flood, stories of the flood are reflected in every culture, so too does every culture have stories, or “mythologies” of a giant race of peoples that lived on the earth and in the lands.  You know, the Bible tells us in 1 John 5:19 that the whole kosmos lies in the sway, or the control of the evil one.  That word kosmos, used by John refers to the all the known universe, all that existed.

We can see many ways today if we are observant, how Satan is preparing the world for his kingdom. 

I do not know if you have seen pictures circling about on the internet, of giant skeletons that are unearthed, where the excavationist is standing by or near the bones, and they are small compared to the size of the skeletons they are digging up.  I know much of that, if not all, is passed off as the pranks of students doing Photoshop, seeking to win a prize in a photo shoot contest.  And of course it would have to be explained away, because it would expose the theory of evolution as false.

I’m not sure if you are aware of it, but we are living in an area in the United States that was once inhabited by tribes of Nephilim.  Some of the Native American tribes have traditions of giants that lived in the land before they came here.  In the mid to late 1800s through the early 1900s, there were many of the Indian burial mounds throughout the state were excavated, and skeletons were found that were at the the smallest, 7ft in length, and the longer ones were nine to ten feet in length, or height.  I used to live in East Ohio in Cambridge, and close to there in Zanesville, there was a burial mound in which a large Nephilim skeleton was unearthed.   There were remains found throughout the state.  Near Chillicothe, there is the serpent burial mound, so big the shape is only seen from the sky.  In it were uncovered giant skeletons.  They've also been unearthed Lima and in the Cleveland area.

But once these giant skeletons were uncovered and the remains announced, the Smithsonian institute showed up and whisked away the findings, and they were never seen again.  Some sort of cover-up has been taking place in our land, to hide the truth from the American people.  Why would this happen?  Well, for one, the Bible tells us that the whole kosmos lies in the sway of the evil one (1 Jn. 5:19).  Scripture tells us that in the last days there will be a great deception, so that even the very elect would be deceived, if that were possible.  That means it’s going to be a very powerful deception!

Five Reasons why Pastors Should Teach on the Nephilim.

It seems that for some reason, many pastors are afraid to teach on the Nephilim.  Obviously they are taught in scripture.  The Bible teaches that there were giants in the earth, before the global flood which destroyed all life except that in the ark, and they were here after the flood.  Some pastors may be hesitant to preach on it, maybe because of their busy schedule, and they just do not feel equipped enough to teach on the subject.  Some may feel that if they start teaching that angels came down and slept with women, and gave birth to giants, that it would make them look like fools in society, and they want to avoid the appearance of “being off their rockers”.

Having studied the scriptures with my eyes open, I see just how prevalent these hybrid breeds of beings were throughout the Old Testament.  Jesus clearly believed it, and affirmed it;  He said to the Father, in prayer before the disciples, “Your word, O LORD, is truth” (Jn. 17:17).  Some may not think that it makes a difference not to teach on the existence and proliferation of the Nephilim in scripture.  But before I go any further, let us take a look at the references and descripitions of these beings.

Scriptures:

Amos 2:9   9 "Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, though his height was like the height of cedars.  And he was strong as the oaks; I even destroyed his fruit above and his root below

Numbers 13:22   22 When they had gone up into the Negev, they came to Hebron where Ahiman, Sheshai and Talmai, the descendants of Anak  were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)

Numbers 13:28-29  28 "Nevertheless, the people who live in the land are strong, and the cities are fortified and very large; and moreover, we saw the descendants of Anak there.  29 "Amalek is living in the land of the Negev and the Hittites and the Jebusites and the Amorites are living in the hill country, and the Canaanites are living by the sea and by the side of the Jordan."

Deuteronomy 2:10-12  10 (The Emim lived there formerly, a people as great, numerous, and tall as the Anakim.  11 Like the Anakim, they are also regarded as Rephaim, but the Moabites call them Emim.  12 The Horites formerly lived in Seir, but the sons of Esau dispossessed them and destroyed them from before them and settled in their place, just as Israel did to the land of their possession which the LORD gave to them.)

Deuteronomy 2:20-21   20 (It is also regarded as the land of the Rephaim, for Rephaim formerly lived in it, but the Ammonites call them Zamzummin,  21 a people as great, numerous, and tall as the Anakim, but the LORD destroyed them before them. And they dispossessed them and settled in their place,

Deuteronomy 2:24-25   24 'Arise, set out, and pass through the valley of Arnon. Look! I have given Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land into your hand; begin to take possession and contend with him in battle.  25 'This day I will begin to put the dread and fear of you upon the peoples everywhere under the heavens, who, when they hear the report of you, will tremble and be in anguish because of you.'

Deuteronomy 9:1-2  "Hear, O Israel! You are crossing over the Jordan today to go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than you, great cities fortified to heaven,  a people great and tall, the sons of the Anakim, whom you know and of whom you have heard it said, ‘Who can stand before the sons of Anak?'

Judges 1:20   20 Then they gave Hebron to Caleb, as Moses had promised; and he drove out from there the three sons of Anak.

Joshua 9:1-2  Now it came about when all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill country and in the lowland and on all the coast of the Great Sea toward Lebanon, the Hittite and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, heard of it,  2 that they gathered themselves together with one accord to fight with Joshua and with Israel.

Joshua 15:14   14 Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak: Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai, the children of Anak.

Joshua 21:11   11 Thus they gave them Kiriath-arba, Arba being the father of Anak (that is, Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, with its surrounding pasture lands.

1 Samuel 17:4   4 Then a champion came out from the armies of the Philistines named Goliath, from Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.

1 Chronicles 20:5-6  5 And there was war with the Philistines again, and Elhanan the son of Jair killed Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the shaft of whose spear was like a weaver's beam.  6 Again there was war at Gath, where there was a man of great stature who had twenty-four fingers and toes, six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot; and he also was descended from the giants.

1 Chronicles 20:8  8 These were descended from the giants in Gath, and they fell by the hand of David and by the hand of his servants.

1. It robs God of His glory!  The wonders and miracles did not cease in Egypt, when God brought the plagues against Pharaoh and on all Egypt through His servant Moses.  Also, through Joshua, the Lord delivered the land of Canaan from the multiple Nephilim tribes into the hands of the Israelis.

2. It shows Yahweh’s power and greatness using these small, five foot Jewish men to battle giants as tall and as strong as trees (Amos 2:9).  It is consistent with Paul’s teaching in 1 Cor. 1:27: “God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong.”

3. It helps Believers be better equipped to stand in this coming age:  Many are coming to a knowledge of the historical giants, beginning to uncover, or rediscover the knowledge of this mutant breed of beings that lived throughout the world in historical times.  It is shown and taught on the History Channel, as well as other New Age media, being used to lay the foundation for the great deception.

4. Rediscovering this truth helps the believer to make sense of history, with alleged gods coming down from heaven, falling in love with women, and giving birth to semi-divine offspring, which were later worshipped by most cultures as gods and semi-divine beings, being reintroduced today under neo-paganism, but being completely in line with what Jesus said, “For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah” (Mt. 24:37).  

These are just a few reasons why I believe the pastor should not shy away from proudly standing on and decrying the LORD’s counsel!  Can a believer get by without an understanding of the Nephilim, and the clear teaching of scripture?  Yes.  But he is also deprived of the depth of the riches of God’s word.  The Apostle Paul tells us: “All scripture is God-breathed, and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God will be adequate, ready for every good work.”  If you don’t have some of the Truth in your arsenal, can you be adequate?  

Pastor, if you recognize the deception of the world, why do you not teach God’s truth?  

Do you value your ministry more than your relationship with Jesus?

Do you value people’s opinion of you more than teaching God’s word in truth?  What means more to you?

The Return of Yeshua and the Entrance of the Nephilim/Hybrids

Through the past decades and century, there has been much speculation about the timing of the promised return of the Saviour, the Messiah, Yeshua, known as Jesus to most Americans.  One of the reasons there has been so much confusion on this matter (and there are numerous ones, but I shall treat one I feel is fairly major) is that there has been so much of an ideological rejection of the supernatural and spiritual things after the advancement of science ("knowledge") and the "Enlightenment," whereby we were freed from the fetters of the Bible and godliness and righteousness.  Indeed, to give you a taste of how close humanism and humanists are to the unholy, occultist and Satanist Aleister Crowley said in his work, The Book of the Law, "'You shall do as you want' shall be the whole of the Law."  When man became "free" of the Bible, and the laws and morality of the true Creator God Elohyim, he sent himself running headlong into the kingdom of the evil one, whom the Bible calls "the adversary," Satan.

Because of the advancement of human hubris with scientific investigation, divorced from belief in the only true Creator, it gave rise to Higher Criticism, which, on the onset rejecting the supernatural, sought to divest the Bible of the inspired divine aspects.  They continued to claim the name Christian, but denied its power (2 Tim. 3:5).  Today there are many "Christian" churches which reject outright the divinely inspired word of God (2 Tim 4:3-4).  They seek to interpret it "to do as they want," while the claim the name of Christ.  But when we put it that way, it becomes obvious who their true god is (Eph. 2:2).

But now that America is largely void of Biblical teaching and influence, and now that most Christians in America are not truly born again, they have no relationship with Jesus (Jn. 17:3; 14:6), they are awaiting the coming deception, and they will embrace it (2 Thess. 2:11,12).  We see that there is a resurgence in belief in the supernatural and the paranormal, but it is not a Christian/Biblical belief as used to inform the inhabitants of this land.  It is a resurgance of the ancient pagan beliefs that our land was free from, and as missionaries were sent out from America, countries, empires and tribes were transformed and set free from their slaverly to spirits and fairies and trolls and giants which used to make the people live in terror.

And before the flood, Genesis 6 tells us that the b'nei elohyim (sons of God) saw the daughters of men, and took whomever they chose as wives, and produced offspring by them.  These were called the Nephilim, the giants of old, men of reknown.
Genesis 6:4 ⁴ The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

Jesus told his disciples that the time before His return would be as in the days of Noah.  That was when the angels had come down, and angels do not contain reproductive parts as do humans, nor do they have the gift of life in themselves.  Before the flood these rebellious watchers tinkered with the genetic makeup of mankind to produce a seed propheised in the garden of Eden (Gen 3:15).

That is what is happening today.  We do not yet see them walking about openly, but some are already among us.  Others are awaiting release as the (principlaities &) powers of the heavens are shaken (Lk. 21:26).  Dec. 21st was a day of astrological and occult import!  It marked a new time that was in the works, but now it has arrived.  This is why of all the UFO abduction cases, you hear women report they felt as if they had been raped or violated.  And this is why ranchers find slaughtered cattle missing their reproductive organs.  It seems indeed, that they rebellious (fallen) angels are at it again, producing the serpent's seed upon the earth, and getting the world ready for the battle of millenia, the battle of armageddon, where the Bible teaches that the armies of the earth gather around Israel, and have the tenacity and stupidity to conduct battle against the LORD YESHUA and all His armies, as He comes to set the earth aright for 1,000 years, then forever!

God's word is true!  It has offered great benefit to humanity, and sets us free, lets us be forgiven of our sins, and brings us into relationship with our Father who made us for Himself (Jn. 17:3).  If you have never trusted Jesus (Yeshua) as Lord, call on His name.  Confess your sinfulness to Him and your need of Him today, right now!  Call on Him and ask Him into your heart to be your LORD and your SAVIOUR!  Scripture tells us that "Whoever calls on the name of the LORD will be saved!" (Rom. 10:9-10, 13).  Trust Jesus, make Him LORD of your life, and starting reading and learning His word.

Laughing at the History (Channel)...

I don’t know about you, but I have to laugh with incredulity when I watch the history channel.  It has turned into the pseudo-religious historical/future speculation channel.  Evolutionists and the “Scientific Establishment” are covering the bases in all the areas that disprove Darwinian Evolution (that was taught as fact and truth in our school system!) by inserting a hypothesis (that they all almost seem to know is true, somehow, not quite scientifically) of interstellar aliens controlling evolution and life on earth.  Tonight we watched the Ancient Aliens and Dinosaurs.   Essentially, they are admitted what most already knew, that yes, people lived with Dinosaurs (ever read Job 40, 41?, the Bible told us for 1,000s of years!), and some may indeed, still exist.

So in order to salvage their precious theory of Evolution, they claim that extraterrestrials have governed and oversaw it all.  According to “ancient astronaut theorists,” the aliens are our creators.  If they had done a little biblical investigation (which would have saved millions of dollars!) they could have found out that yes, dinosaurs lived with man, and that the most high God, El Elyon (a.k.a. Adonai; Elohim) is their/our  creator.  But what can you do?  Scripture says the mind of sinful man is hostile to God, and can not submit itself to God’s law, for IT IS NOT ABLE TO DO SO(!) Rom. 8:6-8). 

The Bible has also told us of the extraterrestrials… known as fallen angels, or in Hebrew, the benei Elohim who first came down thousands of years ago, and meddled with the human genome and corrupted it.  This was the reason for the flood.  God in His mercy wiped out the corrupted, wicked race, and spared Noah and his family through the ark.  Thus you and I are here today.

The Bible tells us of our near future, the earth is about to be inhabited with the offspring of these “sons of God,” the fallen, rebellious angels once again, and their genetically enhanced, (modified, etc.) offspring.  And the earth will once again see the terrors that the Nephilim and the fallen angels brought to mankind. 

Luke 21:26  ²⁶ men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

Many are rushing headlong for this time, and if you don’t know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you will embrace the delusion, the deception, and this is from God, so that you will believe the lie in order to be condemned.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12  ⁹ that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,  ¹⁰ and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.  ¹¹ For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,  ¹² in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.

But for the ones chosen of God (Jn. 15:16), there is hope.  And if you have not met Him yet, there is hope, solace, healing, refuge in Jesus Christ (Yeshua ha Mashiach).  Paul did not leave us hanging in 2 Thessalonians.  He continues by saying:

2 Thessalonians 2:13-17  ¹³ But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.  ¹⁴ It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.  ¹⁵ So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us.  ¹⁶ Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace,  ¹⁷ comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.

The Bible fully explains that there were giants living on the earth, formed from the unholy joining of fallen angels, and human women.  We know the stories of the gods through myths.  The coming deception of the entire world is a replay of this scenario.  Jesus (Yeshua) told us that the last days will be as the days of Noah (Matt. 24:37).  What were the days of Noah like?  The angels who followed Satan interbred and corrupted the human gene-pool, changing men from being made in the image of God, to being products of their creation, to worship them.  Where did the demons come from?  The spirits of the deceased Nephilim, roaming the earth, seeking bodies to inhabit (Lk.11:24).

Genesis 6:1-2, 4-5  Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, ² that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose...

1 Chronicles 20:6-8 6 Again there was war at Gath, where there was a man of great stature who had twenty-four fingers and toes, six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot; and he also was descended from the giants. 7 When he taunted Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea, David's brother, killed him. 8 These were descended from the giants in Gath, and they fell by the hand of David and by the hand of his servants.

Numbers 13:33 - 14:1 33 "There also we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak are part of the Nephilim); and we became like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight."

Deuteronomy 2:10-11 10 (The Emim lived there formerly, a people as great, numerous, and tall as the Anakim. 11 Like the Anakim, they are also regarded as Rephaim, but the Moabites call them Emim.

Deuteronomy 2:20-22 20 (It is also regarded as the land of the Rephaim, for Rephaim formerly lived in it, but the Ammonites call them Zamzummin, 21 a people as great, numerous, and tall as the Anakim, but the LORD destroyed them before them. And they dispossessed them and settled in their place, 22 just as He did for the sons of Esau, who live in Seir, when He destroyed the Horites from before them; they dispossessed them and settled in their place even to this day.

Amos 2:9 ⁹ "Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, Though his height was like the height of cedars And he was strong as the oaks; I even destroyed his fruit above and his root below.

 Jesus Himself said of God's holy word: John 17:17 17 "Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.

Interesting, isn't it? And most Christians are of the view today that we don't need the Torah (the first five books of the Bible). It tells us the truth about reality, and prepares us for how to live in these times.

Review of Rick Warren's Lecture at Desiring God

In these last days, before King Jesus' return, the Bible warns us that there will be a great falling away by many naming the name of Christ.  Jesus also warned His followers that there will be many false teachers, described as wolves in sheep's clothing, looking and smelling like sheep themselves, but devouring God's flock!  Jude, the half-brother of our Lord warns us in Jude 1:4 that certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long beforehand were marked for this condemnation (double predestination? Jude through the Spirit said it, not me!), change the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master (despotes) and Lord, Jesus Christ.
Many of the flock in America still blindly follow Rick Warren, who is continually leading his flock and millions (?) worldwide astray.  Because of this great apostasy, influenced by him and many others who are puppeted by unseen hands, the "rulers" in the heavens (Eph. 3:10; 6:12), I have updated my links on this blog today.  And one I most recently came upon, is another excellent discernment ministry site with expose of Warren and many other things taking place in this world, leading people to eternal damnation.

Timeline of the Unsaved

As good as the path that leads us to eternal life in Heaven, there is also the path that goes to Hell. I would be remiss if I didn't share what happens to those people who die without accepting Jesus as their Savior and who continue on that path to their judgment. What is going to happen to them? Remember John 3:36's warning, "God's wrath remains on him." Those people who continue to live on that straight road without accepting Jesus' rescue have a different destination from Heaven entirely. They are going to die in their rebellion, and they have no hope whatsoever. The following is what's going to happen to them after they die.

After an unsaved person dies, they go to a place called Hades. The Bible also calls it Sheol or Torments. You can read all about it in Luke 16. Hades is a holding place for the dead, a prison. It at one time had two compartments, a place called Paradise and a place called Torments. The Old Testament Saints used to go to the Paradise part as they couldn't go to Heaven yet because Jesus' blood hadn't yet been shed to cover their sins. By faith they were there as Hebrews explains, but Jesus' blood finally allowed their freedom and Paradise was taken up to Heaven with Jesus after His crucifixion. What we have in Hades now is just what is left — Torments — a place of torment.

At the end of Jesus' Millennial Kingdom, there will be the Great White Throne Judgment. That's a special name basically for the Resurrection of the Unjust. We can read about this final judgment in Revelation 20:11-13, "Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it and earth and sky fled from his presence and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead great and small standing before the throne and the books were opened. And another book was opened which is the book of life, the dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in them and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them and each person was judged according to what he had done."

Those from Hades are going to be judged just like the just were judged. They are going to be judged based on their works, but without the saving work of Jesus Christ — the only work that matters, they will be found wanting. God's the perfect litmus test, and so those no matter how good our works just cannot add up. Everyone who tells you that you have to work your way to Heaven is lying to you, because the Bible says otherwise. Jesus' work on the cross is the only work that matters, and our response in faith.

When they are all found guilty, their next and final destination is a place called Hell. Revelation 20:14-15 explains that awful sentence of condemnation, "Then death and Hades were thrown into the Lake of Fire." The Lake of Fire is called the Second Death. If anyone's name was not found written in the Books of Life, they will be thrown into the Lake of Fire.

Misconceptions About Hell

A lot of people have some really false ideas about what Hell is like. There are as many misconceptions about Hell as there is Heaven.

One misconception about Hell for instance is that Satan is down there stoking the fires, that he's already there waiting to punish and torment people with pitchforks. No, Satan doesn't rule Hell. There are no demons waiting to torment us in Hell.

Actually, believe or not, there is not a single person in Hell right now. Hell is the punishment created for Satan and his demons. Matthew 25:41 says Hell was created for them when they rebelled against God. When we rebelled in sin, that same punishment fell upon us. Hell was never meant for us, but when we sinned, we fell under the same judgment as Satan and his followers.

Hell Described

What is Hell actually like? We can read all about it in the Bible.

Is Hell a place where we party down? Is it a place where it is just a little too warm, but where we hang out with our old friends? No, Matthew 25:46 tells us it is a place of punishment for rebellion. Punishment is not good. Hell is not a good place.

Hell is where the wrath of God is finally fulfilled. In John 3:36, we read about the wrath of God. The wrath of God is whenever God judges the earth in its entirety. We saw it with the Flood. We will see it poured out at the Tribulation. God will judge all who have rejected Him at the Second Death. These are demonstrations of God's wrath.

Hell is called the Second Death in Revelation 21:8. It is also called Eternal Destruction in 2 Thessalonians 1:9. Look at the word "eternal." Eternal means just that —forever destroyed.

With Hell, there is just no escape. Luke 16 says there is no way out of it. It's not like there can be some fancy Star Trek episode escape where they hitch a few wires and the doors open and they always escape. No, it's not like that in Hell. There is absolutely no way to escape from Hell.

What is Hell physically like? Matthew 25:41 and Revelation 20:15 describe it as a Lake of Fire. Some people speculate that maybe it is located in the underworld of our planet, as we see lava flows from a volcano like a lake. I tend to think Hell is a star. If you ever get a good close picture of a star, you will see superheated energy plasma boiling and rolling like lakes. It could be in a star, but the Bible doesn't tell us. But, it is described as a place of flames. It's a place of burning.

With all that fire, one would think it would be a very bright place, but Matthew 8:12 tells us it is a place of utter darkness. There is no light. No one will get to see in Hell.

And, the stench of it! Luke 16 tells us that Hell stinks. It has a bad smell to it.

The people who are sentenced there will be conscious. They will not be knocked out. They won't be driven so mad that they won't think about the horrible reality crushing them. They will have to exist with a conscious existence as Deuteronomy 18:11 demonstrates, and what they are consciously aware of is that they chose to separate themselves from the Father, as Luke 16 relays. God says to us all with no exception, "I love you. Come to me." You can choose to respond to that, or you can reply with, "No, way!" Those who rejected God's love will spend eternity regretting that decision.

Being separated from God has other consequences, for God is life, and without Him the universe doesn't hold together. You may hear about physicists trying to find the God particle or the String Theory. Well, in part they are correct. The underlining force that holds everything together is God. Jesus says it is Him. He is the bread and the life. He's what holding us together.

Without God there is only loneliness and separation. There's just you being convicted by your memories filled with regret and despair.

Luke 16 says in Hell you thirst. In Hell there is nothing to quench one's awful, mind-burning thirst.

Another reason I believe Hell may be a star or some other place with plasma energy, is that Revelation 9:2 tells us that it's bottomless. There is no ground to put your feet on. It is a place of continual falling and falling and never landing.

Because of all the agony and destruction that you feel in Hell, it says in Matthew 8:12 that there is gnashing of teeth. There will be nothing from you but weeping and crying with no comfort and no water to supply your tears.

Hell is truly a place of torment, as Revelation 14 describes. It's an awful place of torment where you are alone with yourself forever. You wanted God to leave you along and so you didn't accept Jesus' salvation, and well, you got what you wanted.

Living With an Eternal Perspective

Our forever destination is why we need to think about something bigger than just our life here on earth. Where the road ends is why we need to have an eternal perspective, because our life on this earth is really very short, isn't it? It's just like a breath. And so, it makes sense that we need to look at the bigger picture in life. You need to know where you are going.

You can't just live for the now, because if you die this very minute without preparing for the next minute, then where will that get you? A good friend of mine from high school had this happen to him. While his mother was making him dinner she slipped on some water on the floor. While she was making something as innocent as dinner, she fell and banged her head against the cabinet. The fall snapped her neck and she died instantly. One minute she is making the meatballs, the next minute she is dead with her son standing over his dead mother. Life happens that way. We don't think it can happen to us, especially the younger we are. We think life doesn't end so suddenly, but it will. Death will catch up to us usually when we are unaware.

Death is inevitable, unless you are raptured, so live with an eternal perspective. If you live with an eternal perspective, then everything else in life will make sense. Life will have purpose.

What happens to you upon death is told to you in the Bible. It's all described in God's word, and it's not a hard concept. Don't listen to what the silly cartoons and the movies are telling you about Heaven and Hell. Read for yourself in the Bible what you final destiny will be.

Your Eternal Decision

Now you know where your destiny lies. So, have you made the choice for Jesus? Have you asked Jesus to forgive you of your sins and be your Savior? Have you cried, "Rescue me please, I want to live with you forever."

An amazing, wonderful, awesome future lay ahead of us! So, what on earth are you doing that's just so important that you won't grab hold of that future? What sins are you committing that are so temporarily enjoyable that you wish to stay here, when you've got so much better ahead of you? Turn to Jesus right now and ask Him to forgive you of your sins and be your Savior.

Think of the future that you have. Don't write Hell off as not a real place. The God of the Universe who is outside of time and who knows what is beyond here has told us in the Bible exactly what our afterlife will be like. In the Bible we can know our future.

You have a decision to make today. Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior, or have you not? Will you be rescued from judgment and Hell, or will you be saved for Heaven by placing your trust in Jesus Christ? You need to make that decision before you die.
