I started to say recently, but it's not, presently we are witnessing a significant rejection of what was America's religious heritage and tradition. The Hebreo-Christian ethics which raised up this land above all the nations of the world. And that was no accident. God's word says in Proverbs 14:34: Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a disgrace to any people.
Because we are one nation, we all share in the judgments of the courts of the land and our political leaders. With the supreme courts recent decision legalizing homosexual marriage (which by the way is denounced in Islam too and punished the Muslim way), God's judgement are coming upon this land to destroy it from the earth.
For those of us who continue to hold to the ways of God, the LORD tells us, "Then they will hand you over for persecution, and they will kill you. You will be hated by all nations because of My name... Many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. Because lawlessness will multiply the love of most will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be delivered." Mt. 24:9-13. Jesus goes on to tell us, "This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations. And then the end will come."
According to the LORD's own word, the only way to escape these things is to turn to the LORD Jesus in faith and turn from your sins.
12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name (Jn 1:12).
On CBN Newswatch, three ladies were interviewed telling of the horrors they saw working in an abortion clinic in TX, as abortionist doctors literally killed babies born alive, and told of the kicking, the stopping of breathing of the little ones, the spread of toes as the murderers put instruments into the tiny babies' heads/spines. How depraved have we become? And the pro-choicers (pro-infant deathers) in TX at the courthouse who were opposing the pro-life people by chanting "Hail Satan." And truly they did.
Many times the scriptures contain things in it that are hard to explain, and many try to explain it away. Most know that Jesus predicted an increase in the number of natural disasters that would come upon the world in the last days before the pseudo-Christ's appearance, and His final return and deliverance. But many try to vindicate God from responsibility when towns, cities or villages are hit by great and truly AWEsome natural disasters.
The Bible says in Amos 3:6 "If a disaster occurs in a city, hasn't the Yhwh done it?" During this time, the LORD is giving the nations of the world warning to repent and believe on Yeshua, Jesus, and turn to him for forgiveness of rebelling against His character and His ways.
The Yhwh says, "Look, they eyes of the LORD God are on the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from the face of the earth" (Amos 9:8). In context, this was referring to Israel, and their turning from God's holy covenant with them. But we find this principle throughout scripture, that the sin of a people or nation leads to disaster, devastation, the destruction of the earth.
In the time of the King Ahab, rain was being withheld from heaven, and there was great famine on the land of Israel. When the prophet Elijah finally appeared before Ahab, Ahab greeted him saying, "Is that you, you destroyer of Israel?" But Elijah responded, "I have not destroyed Israel, but you and your father's house have, because you have abandoned the Yhwh's commandments, and followed the Baals" (1 Kings 18:17-18).
For decades now America has been in the shoes of Ahab, and it continues to reject the LORD's commands, and exalts their own personal "rights" over the rights of other people, including the people growing in their own wombs.
