We Inherited Lies.

One prophecy that I have not seen dealt with is Jer. 16:19.

O Yahweh, my strength, and my stronghold, 

and my refuge in the day of distress, 

to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth, 

and they will say, “Our ancestors have inherited only lies, 

vanity, and there is no profit in them.  Jer. 16:19

In the context of chapter 16, the dispersed Israelites are brought back to the land that Yhwh promised in covenant to Abraham.  This is another prophecy of the regathering of the Israelites that have been exiled to the ends of the earth (Gen. 49:18; Hos. 7:8) , as Moses foretold in Dt. 30:1-5, who have forgotten their heritage, their identity as God's people.

And I will put an end to all her mirth, 

her festivals, her new moons, and her Sabbaths, 

and all her appointed festivals;   Hos. 2:11

But one of the signs of her awakening in the last days is not only a recovery of the knowledge of who they are, and of keeping God's instruction, but also an awareness that all they have been taught by their "fathers" are lies.  

One example of this is Darwinian evolution.  As technology advanced, and people were able to see on the molecular level, the complexity observed defied what is possible for random, purposeless natural selection.  The way to get around this now is to give the credit to extraterrestrials and directed evolution, explaining away miracles, faith in God, worship, and the justification of regular child sacrifice by ancient societies.

These are some of tthe ideological results of the new science.

How is Wisdom Gained? Prov. 3, Creation and the Fear of Yhwh!

Wisdom is something that is sought for by most all religions, and even mystery religions.  Wisdom is something that is not easy to come by, and usually requires time and difficult circumstances to arrive at.  Though not always.  Sometimes it is presented to us, and all we have to do is accept it, to believe it and act on it!

That's  the way it is in an ancient book written by a man credited with being the wisest man/king on earth.  In the book of Proverbs, written by King Solomon, son of David, king of Israel, he tells us how to have and hold on to true Wisdom.

13 How blessed is the man who finds wisdom
And the man who gains understanding.  Prov. 3:13

I was reading through Proverbs three yesterday (the Third of January), and this insight occurred to me, which I believe is from the Spirit, and so I want to share this with you.  

Starting In Proverbs 3:19, we read:

19 The YHWH by wisdom founded the earth,
By understanding He established the heavens.
20 By His knowledge the deeps were broken up
And the skies drip with dew.
21 

My son, let them not [g]vanish from your sight;

Keep sound wisdom and discretion,
22 So they will be life to your soul
And adornment to your neck.

These verses tell us by wisdom Elohim, the Creator God, created the earth.  He 'founded it'.  That Elohim fashioned all of creation.  But in the next verse, it tells us that by His knowledge, the deeps were broken up, and the skies let drop the dew.  In the historical creation account, when do we first see water, or dew, falling from heaven?  It was not until the Flood, when Elohim, the just and righteous Creator had to bring judgment upon mankind for his evil ways and his perversion of the Creation (Gen. 6-9).

King Solomon is telling us, that if we truly want to be wise, we must hold on to the knowledge that Elohim is the Creator, according to the Seven day, 24 hour day account of Genesis (which was Solomons' frame of reference, though undoubtedly, as the wisest man, with 900 wives from surrounding nations [ok, he wasn't consistent with his wisdom!] he knew of other creation accounts, but held to the Biblical account!).

But not only that Elohim Yhwh is Creator, but that He is also judge, and that He judges man's wickedness and rebellion against Yhwh's design!  King Solomon tells us that if we hold on to this knowledge, and don't let it out of our sight, then it will be "life to your soul, and an adornment for your neck."  

We see this further in other Biblical writings, "the fear of the Yhwh is the beginning of wisdom," (Prov. 1:7, 2:5; Ecc. 3:4, 5:7, 12:13)

So what can we learn from this?  Well, Evolution, which is taught... mandated by our world governments (1 Jn. 5:19), begins apart from the Creative activity, and power of Elohim, who created all things, through His Word!  I could go into this about how in the Genesis account, we see all three members of the God-head active in Creation, but it tells us that Yhwh openly spoke things into existence in literal 24 hour day- periods of time!  

Darwinian Evolution, which most of our society believes (though it is unscientific because  it is a history of origins, and not testable nor verifiable), starts apart  from or without the involvement of Yhwh, reduces humans to the level of animals, and therefore not "created" in the image of God.  Therefore, according to the wisest man on earth (apart from Yeshua), Evolution is unwise, and indeed, against true knowledge... which isn't that supposed to be the goal of Education, knowledge?  But through the teaching of Darwinian Evolution, and pretending it is "Science" (knowledge), according to the Bible, we are stupefying our kids, and the masses who buy this lie that we all arose spontaneously out of primordial goop!

The Pope, that dragon in sheeps clothing(!), recently said that the God of the Bible created through Evolution, and that the Biblical account is to be understood as metaphor!  Folks, this is why the Pope and the Roman Catholic church does not want you reading the Bible!!!  Did you know that by saying this, the Pope is going against the very apostles that the Papacy claims as its legitimate right to rule!?

The Apostles Peter and Paul both believed in and taught a literal 24 hour day, Seven day creation by Elohim, Yeshua and the Spirit Himself (Gen. 1:2; John 1:3; Col. 1:16; Heb. 1:3).  So the very one who claims to be the "head of Chrisitanity" is opposing some of the very foundational teachings of the Christian faith.  According to King Solomon, to follow this Pope, would make one unwise!

But when we do keep Yhwh's Word, and the knowledge that He is both Creator and Judge, and live in the fear of Yhwh, King Solomon tells us some of the benefits of having wisdom and understanding!

23 Then you will walk in your way securely
And your foot will not stumble.
24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid;
When you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
25 Do not be afraid of sudden fear
Nor of the [h]onslaught of the wicked when it comes;
26 For the YHWH will be [i]your confidence
And will keep your foot from being caught.

Come on Pat, Don't Be Ridiculous!!!

Recently, Ken Ham of the Back to Genesis Creation Institute held a debate with Brian Nye the science guy.  Afterwards Pat Robertson criticized Ham, who through years of study, has used science to demonstrate how in fact it does support a literal 6-day creation and 6,000 year old timeline.

Robertson argued that there’s too much scientific evidence in the world to assert the world is thousands, and not billions, of years old. He said, “To say that it all came about in 6000 years is just nonsense, and I think it’s time we come off of that stuff and say this is impossible.”

He implored fellow believers in God, “Let’s be real, let’s not make a joke of ourselves.” Robertson made it clear he still doesn’t believe in “so-called evolution,” but it doesn’t shake his faith one bit to have “progressive evolution” under the control of God.

Pat, what you have just done is drawn a line buddy in the Evangelical camp.  There is a great "scientific deception" (i.e., creation by E.T.s on big UFOs), and you have just given those who don't believe God's word is literally true, the green light to attack Christ-followers who do!  Even God, the founder of our faith, incarnated as Yeshua ben Josef, said, "Your Word (i.e. the Jewish Tanakh) is truth" (Jn. 17:17)

Pat has come out and shown His true colors!  He does not believe in a literal six-day creation, but rather a (non-scientific) belief in punctuated evolution where God steps in a points and directs our evolution!  Pat... in all your profound wisdom, you have set yourself up to agree with the "Aliens" of the occultic History Channel's  Ancient Aliens!  They claim to BE OUR CREATORS!  They teach, through the likes of so-called Ancient-Astronaut "experts," that they planted our seed on this planet, and stepped in at various times throughout human history/evolution to "direct our evolution."

You have opened the trap door for all the Christians and "Christians" who follow you to fall into Satan's age-old deception coming on the earth!  Way to go!

Yes, Pat's comments have got me hot!  Millions of believers done through time have given their lives in defense of God's literal word, and belief in it.  In just a couple of minutes you undermined and cast scorn on all of the Protestant Reformers and have aligned yourself with the Apostate Whore of Rome, which thinks it can change the eternal, unchangeable Word of God!

Now, let's look at some of the Biblical reasons what you said is beyond Ridiculous Pat!  First off, what is Science?  Science is the Latin term for knowledge, which begs the question, "Who's knowledge?"  Well, mankind's.  Based on Men's observation of nature and the laws through which it operates.  

The supposed scientific "enlightenment" came about when men (no longer enslaved to the spirits behind trees and rocks and nature) realized that they could learn and discover facts about the world around them through the study and observation of nature.  This is still true today.

What is knowledge?  Things that we can know.  Scripture tells us that the beginning of knowledge is the fear of the Lord (Prov. 1:7).  Modern academic Science, taught in our schools to our children, operates apart from (that is, starts without) a belief in or knowledge of the God of the Bible.  "Science", or "man's knowledge" has led to be one of the greatest stumbling blocks to faith in Creation and Christianity, this salvation.  The Apostle Paul tells us that "knowledge makes arrogant (puffs up) while love (agape, based on God's True revelation) builds up!

Evolution, punctuated or not, teaches that life developed (though the scientific law of Entropy totally refutes Macro-Evolution) through billions of years of suffering and death, while God's revelation teaches that Man was created by God on the sixth literal, 24 hour day of creation, and that death and suffering were no where to be found, until Eve was deceived by that  crafty Quetzl-Coatl, Lucifer, who deceived her by appealing to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the boastful pride of life (Gen. 3:1-6; 1 John 2:16)

The Bible says that the Wages of Sin is Death (Rom. 3:23)!  Sin and suffering were not part of God's creation! That would mean that God created a world that was filled with death, suffering, abortive evolutionary attempts and violence for millions (or billions, depending on whose guessing scale of measure you use) of years.  That is not compatible with a Biblical Faith Pat!  You need to check yourself!  You are worshiping an edifice of Man, and not the God of the Bible!

Not only that... if that is not enough, it also informs knowledgeable people of faith in Romans 5:12:

 through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—

Not only that, but Yeshua Himself believed in a literal 6 day creation and a literal Adam and Eve who were IN THE BEGINNING!  (Mk. 10:7-9).  You have the genealogy of the GOSPEL of Luke, which teaches a literal YOUNG-EARTH, 6,000 year record (Luke 3:38).  

Romans 5:14

Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.

So Pat... do you not believe the Word of God??? Through your simple and rash statement, you denied much of the teaching of the New Testament. Believe in a Theistic Evolution and a Biblical Faith ARE NOT COMPATIBLE! The Bible says so itself. Only Science (i.e. knowledge) that starts with Yhwh as the Creator (Pr.1:7) and the first building block, can be viewed as true to reality in God's order!

Ken Ham through his life and work defends Biblical Truth and Inerrancy, and his ministry is pleasing to God!  Your mistaken notions have and are leading many astray, and are being used of the Evil One to bring about this great deception on planet Earth, and set the stage of a great persecution of Biblical believers by so called Christians!  But we will all stand before God!  

Things Coming On the World

Events continue to happen, seemingly more devastating than before.  Now we've gone through the F5 tornado in Oklahoma, which with my work keeping me on the road now, got a personal up-close encounter with the storm that produced the hurricane.  I know my family anxiously watched and covered us in prayer as the news was covering the storm in Oklahoma.  The winds were high with a torrential downpour, and an awesome lightning storm in the sky.  It made for something to watch while driving through the rain.  The next morning watching the news, I saw just how fortunate we were having come through the storm.

Flooding taking part in Texas... and that's just what we know of in the U.S.S.A.  God's promise to Abraham still stands (Gen. 12:3).  As long as the presidential administration pushes for the division of Israel and Jerusalem to give the land to the Muslims (not the 'Palestinians' who mostly descend from Jordan, which won't take them back!  Of the Palestinians, some are Christian and support the Jews living in the land and being in charge, rather than the corrupt Muslim leaders.)

The Bible speaks of 'the adversary' of mankind, 'Shatan' perpetually seeking to destroy, wipe out the Jews as God's chosen people.  Looking back historically, you cannot argue that this has been the case.  And they still have as yet the worst, the time of 'Jacob's Sorrows' to go through, which looks like it may take place easily in the next 7-8 years.

The seeding of man, preparing him for the great deception (2 Thess. 2:11), has largely taking place through television, and today has spread through all medium of communication and entertainment.  One channel it is seen clearly is on the History Channel, where an informed person can see the plans of the enemy.  In their series Ancient Aliens, they seek to show that these 'extraterrestrials' were indeed active on earth, and at various stages giving man knowledge, helping him along.  And this is all based on the evolutionary theorem, assumed (unscientifically) as fact for this series.  The series asserts, through given communication with these extraterrestrials (i.e. channeling of lying, deceiving spirits), that they are our creators and have directed our evolution.

Truth be known, they are the fallen angels, which came down early in human history.  Not only did they come down and produce offspring (the Nephilim) as Genesis 6 tells us, but the book of Enoch, which is quoted by the Apostle Peter and Jude, fills us in more, that they introduced all sorts of immorality to humankind.  They taught the making of weapons, the valuing of certain rocks and minerals over others, they taught the art of make up for the beautification of women and seduction of men. They corrupted the human gene line before the flood, so that by the end of the first millennium, almost all humanity had been corrupted, cross-bred with animals (beastiality) insects, fish, so that the genetic lines of all the species (or nearly all) had been corrupted.  And for this reason, the salvation of humanity, and the accomplishment of redemption of mankind, the sending of the Savior, God brought the flood on the world to wipe out all the wickedness that then existed.  And only Noah and his family were saved through the flood, to begin again.

And if you except it, this is also why later, after the flood, when the Jews came into Israel, that they were commanded to wipe out entirely certain peoples, and even their animals, because the process was starting over again.  Pastor, author and Researcher L.A. Marzulli lays this out excellently in his book, Cosmic Chess Match.  Because of the prevailing beliefs about reality when I was growing up, the belief in giants was that of 'myth,' which was regarded as fantasy, fairlytale.  But as I've grown up, I've seen that much of what we are taught and not taught is decided by a group higher up, and in fact, the apostle Paul tells us that they reign in the heavenly, spiritual realms, and that that is where our true battle lies (Eph. 6:12).  Truly, as the world's second wisest man (Y'shua was wisest) said, "everything which is, has already been!"

The man of lawlessness, and the false prophet are waiting to come into the forefront.  They are here.  The are coming soon, along with their "united" one-world government.  Yeshua told us that the last days would be like the time of Noah.  The cross breeding of humanity with animals in the name of improvement and creating a super soldier.  In Hitler's jargon, these super soldiers would be called ubermensch, or possibly Aryan.  Animals are mixed with human genes in the name of medicine (human-animal chimeras).  Many unknown, horrific mutant hybrid animals have washed ashore on beaches around the world giving us a hint at what is really happening. The apostle Luke tells us by the inpiration of the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21) that "men fainting from and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world" (Luke 21:26).  

Yes, it's terrible, horrific even.  But those who place their hope in the Savior of mankind, Jesus ben Joseph, of Nazareth, shall be able to stand with all that is taking place in the world around us.  We do not have to fear, for we know who is in control, and though these earthly circumstances may not show it, we know that battle is won.  The adversary of our souls, shatan has been defeated, and the reason he rages is that he knows his time is short!  Watch for the Syrian man who comes in the name of peace (Daniel 8 denotes he comes from the Middle East region, as well as Micah 5:5,6), and the pronouncements of the Pope.

All these things are quickly upon us!  Islam is beginning to show its true colors in light of achieving its end-time goal, the same as the Shatan's, wiping out the Jews and killing much of humanity. We may suffer persecution, we may face torture, we may be put to death.  The scriptures promise, "All who live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted." (2 Tim 3:12).  In the words of a famous song, "All I know is I'm not home yet, this is not where I belong, take this world and give me Jesus, this is not where I belong..." (Phil. 3:20).  Amen.

The Pleiadian Council of Nine: Gaia's Energetic Framework is Changing......

Looking around on Youtube, there are quite a few messages to "workers of light," and "starseeds" from people who have channeled the "Pleiadians."  This is precisely what led me to start this blog.

I just listened to a video by the Pleiadian Council of Nine, http://youtu.be/gnml80Upp5o.  I don't advocate listening to these without a time of prayer before going in to watch or listen.  You may want to stay away.  But for the record, the video talks about all the earth changes (of density) mother earth is going through, and how those who don't want to change will continue through sufferings of the third dimension, instead of moving into a higher fourth dimension reality along with Gaia and the rest of creation.  Then the enlightened beings on earth will be able to join the "galactic federation" and work for the enjoyment of all the "other" races of beings throughout the mass universe! 

Sounds a little Trekky to me.

This stuff is real, and evidently, they think it is really near.  Stay close to Jesus, in His Word, and stay blessed!

Laughing at the History (Channel)...

I don’t know about you, but I have to laugh with incredulity when I watch the history channel.  It has turned into the pseudo-religious historical/future speculation channel.  Evolutionists and the “Scientific Establishment” are covering the bases in all the areas that disprove Darwinian Evolution (that was taught as fact and truth in our school system!) by inserting a hypothesis (that they all almost seem to know is true, somehow, not quite scientifically) of interstellar aliens controlling evolution and life on earth.  Tonight we watched the Ancient Aliens and Dinosaurs.   Essentially, they are admitted what most already knew, that yes, people lived with Dinosaurs (ever read Job 40, 41?, the Bible told us for 1,000s of years!), and some may indeed, still exist.

So in order to salvage their precious theory of Evolution, they claim that extraterrestrials have governed and oversaw it all.  According to “ancient astronaut theorists,” the aliens are our creators.  If they had done a little biblical investigation (which would have saved millions of dollars!) they could have found out that yes, dinosaurs lived with man, and that the most high God, El Elyon (a.k.a. Adonai; Elohim) is their/our  creator.  But what can you do?  Scripture says the mind of sinful man is hostile to God, and can not submit itself to God’s law, for IT IS NOT ABLE TO DO SO(!) Rom. 8:6-8). 

The Bible has also told us of the extraterrestrials… known as fallen angels, or in Hebrew, the benei Elohim who first came down thousands of years ago, and meddled with the human genome and corrupted it.  This was the reason for the flood.  God in His mercy wiped out the corrupted, wicked race, and spared Noah and his family through the ark.  Thus you and I are here today.

The Bible tells us of our near future, the earth is about to be inhabited with the offspring of these “sons of God,” the fallen, rebellious angels once again, and their genetically enhanced, (modified, etc.) offspring.  And the earth will once again see the terrors that the Nephilim and the fallen angels brought to mankind. 

Luke 21:26  ²⁶ men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

Many are rushing headlong for this time, and if you don’t know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you will embrace the delusion, the deception, and this is from God, so that you will believe the lie in order to be condemned.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12  ⁹ that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,  ¹⁰ and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.  ¹¹ For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,  ¹² in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.

But for the ones chosen of God (Jn. 15:16), there is hope.  And if you have not met Him yet, there is hope, solace, healing, refuge in Jesus Christ (Yeshua ha Mashiach).  Paul did not leave us hanging in 2 Thessalonians.  He continues by saying:

2 Thessalonians 2:13-17  ¹³ But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.  ¹⁴ It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.  ¹⁵ So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us.  ¹⁶ Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace,  ¹⁷ comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.

The Bible fully explains that there were giants living on the earth, formed from the unholy joining of fallen angels, and human women.  We know the stories of the gods through myths.  The coming deception of the entire world is a replay of this scenario.  Jesus (Yeshua) told us that the last days will be as the days of Noah (Matt. 24:37).  What were the days of Noah like?  The angels who followed Satan interbred and corrupted the human gene-pool, changing men from being made in the image of God, to being products of their creation, to worship them.  Where did the demons come from?  The spirits of the deceased Nephilim, roaming the earth, seeking bodies to inhabit (Lk.11:24).

Genesis 6:1-2, 4-5  Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, ² that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose... 
⁴ The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. ⁵ Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Deuteronomy 2:10-11 10 (The Emim lived there formerly, a people as great, numerous, and tall as the Anakim. 11 Like the Anakim, they are also regarded as Rephaim, but the Moabites call them Emim.

Deuteronomy 2:20-22 20 (It is also regarded as the land of the Rephaim, for Rephaim formerly lived in it, but the Ammonites call them Zamzummin, 21 a people as great, numerous, and tall as the Anakim, but the LORD destroyed them before them. And they dispossessed them and settled in their place, 22 just as He did for the sons of Esau, who live in Seir, when He destroyed the Horites from before them; they dispossessed them and settled in their place even to this day.

Amos 2:9 ⁹ "Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, Though his height was like the height of cedars And he was strong as the oaks; I even destroyed his fruit above and his root below.

 Jesus Himself said of God's holy word: John 17:17 17 "Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.

Interesting, isn't it? And most Christians are of the view today that we don't need the Torah (the first five books of the Bible). It tells us the truth about reality, and prepares us for how to live in these times.

Captain America, Hitler and the Last Days

Last night I watched Captain America with our son for the second time. It's a really neat story, but did you know it's fairly accurate talking about Hitler's occultic fascination? He studied from occultist Madame Blavatsky's work, the secret doctrine. Another famous person who read from her book at performance intermission was Elvis Pressley. Alice Bailey, disciple of Blavatsky, who worked at the UN, channeled the "spirit" of Tibetan Monk, Djwahl Kuhl, and dictated his global curriculum, which the UN printed and credited to the Tibetan.

 This is the educational goal that Bush called "No child left behind." This is the goal that they are pursuing with your children America! This is the plan the UN is moving towards for the world (see Daniel 7:19).

 Blavatsky's religion sees the Jews as an inferior race, hindering the evolutionary advance into god-hood of humanity. This is why Hitler was hell-bent (literally) on wiping out the Jews. And the ubermensch race Hitler wanted to bring about, was indeed supposedly located in the earth, from which Hitler thought he could access (and maybe some did?) from the northern ice cap! He wanted to bring back the race of super-men that were deified in mythology, and taught on in Blavatsky's Secret Doctrine, who lived before the flood in Noah's day.

What was it that Messiah said about the end days? That they would be like the days of Noah (Mat. 24:37).

Hahaha... it sounds pretty incredible doesn't it? But really it's not just the Irish, but also the Norweigans, Danes, and Anglo-Saxons, Britons... I've been doing a study through Genesis, and was looking online to see if I could find anything on Genesis 10, known as the table of Nations, where the Sons of Noah are shown moving out into the different regions of the earth.

I came across this e-book, which I'd never heard of (on a site I never heard of), with a topic I"d never begun to imagine. The author is part of the British Christian Science Movement in the UK. It was the first "creation science" movement, done in protest to the Darwinian teachings of Evolution. The author of this particular book I found, Bill Cooer, titles his work, After the Flood. In it, he recounts the knowlege of God among ancient pagan naations, and moves into the geneologies that Kings often kept in their courts library, to prove their lineage from the founder of their people/clan and right down from Noah. That's right, these people kept geneologies in their A.D. kingdoms to trace lineage right down from Noah.

Amongst the ancient records that the Britons themselves left behind, there is preserved (in Nennius at least) a list of the ancestors of the early British kings as they were counted generation by generation back to Japheth, the son of Noah. But the history of the Britons as a distinct nation had its beginnings with the fall of Troy, and it is at this point that Geoffrey of Monmouth and the Welsh chronicles take up the story. [ch.5]

To be fair, the Saxons do not seem to have brought over with them a detailed chronicled history of their nation like that possessed by the Britons or, indeed, the Irish Celts which we shall examine later. That is not to say that none existed, of course just that none has survived to the present day from that pre-emigration period. What has survived, however, is a detailed genealogy of the pre-migration, and hence pre-Christian, kings of the Saxons, and this enables us to take Saxon history back, generation by generation, to the earliest years after the Flood. But this is no new discovery. It was everyday knowledge to the historians of previous centuries. On Thursday 6th July 1600, for example, a certain Elizabethan tourist, Baron Waldstein, visited London's Lambeth Palace. His journal tells us that in one of the rooms there he saw:


'...a splendid genealogy of all the Kings of England, and another genealogy, a historical one, which covers the whole of time and is traced down from the Beginning of the World.' (1)

Later, arriving at Richmond Palace on 28th July, he saw in the library there:

'... beautifully set out on parchment, a genealogy of the kings of England which goes back to Adam.' (2)


And not only in Cooper's book do we see a geneological accoiunts of the European tribes descending from the sons of Noah, through Japheth (Sceaf is one rendering) and Magog, but after discussing the geneologies, and modernists attempts to discredit them, he looks at historical recorded sightings of Dinosaurs, recorded much throughout ancient A.D. Europe, up through the 1800s, and one instance in the early 1900s. In fact, many of us have read some of the historical accounts, but have not recognized it. Why because of mistranslation (purposeful?) and the veil laid over our eyes by "modernist" ideologies and teachers that teach an old earth and dinosaurs living millions of years before man. One account many have read is the tale of Beowolf.

By the time of his slaying the monster Grendel in AD 515, Beowulf himself had already become something of a seasoned hunter of large reptilian monsters. He was renowned amongst the Danes at Hrothgar's court for having cleared the local sea lanes of monstrous animals whose predatory natures had been making life hazardous for the open boats of the Vikings. Fortunately, the Anglo-Saxon poem, written in pure celebration of his heroism, has preserved for us not just the physical descriptions of some of the monsters that Beowulf encountered, but even the names under which certain species of these animals were known to the Saxons and Danes.

However, in order to understand exactly what it is that we are reading when we examine these names, we must appreciate the nature of the Anglo-Saxon language. The Anglo-Saxons (like the modern Germans and Dutch) had a very simple method of word construction, and their names for everyday objects can sometimes sound amusing to our modern English ears when translated literally. A body, for example, was simply a bone-house (banhus), and a joint a bone-lock (banloca). When Beowulf speaks to his Danish interrogator, he is said quite literally to have unlocked his word-hoard (wordhord onleoc). Beowulf's own name means bear, and it is constructed in the following way. The Beo-element is the Saxon word for bee, and his name means literally a bee-wolf. The bear has a dog-like face and was seen by those who wisely kept their distance to apparently be eating bees when it raided their hives for honey. So they simply called the bear a bee-wolf. Likewise, the sun was called woruldcandel, lit. the world-candle. It was thus an intensely literal but at the same time highly poetic language, possessing great and unambiguous powers of description.

The slaying of Grendel is the most famous of Beowulf's encounters with monsters of course, and we shall come to look closely at this animal's physical description as it is given in the Beowulf epic. But in Grendel's lair, a large swampy lake, there lived other reptilian species that were collectively known by the Saxons as wyrmeynnes (lit. wormkind, a race of monsters and serpents--the word serpent in those days meant something rather more than a snake). Beowulf and his men came across them as they were tracking the female of Grendel's species back to her lair after she had killed and eaten King Hrothgar's minister, Asshere, whose half-eaten head was found on the cliff-top overlooking the lake.

Amongst them were creatures that were known to the Saxons and Danes as giant saedracan (sea-drakes or sea-dragons), and these were seen from the cliff-top suddenly swerving through the deep waters of the lake. Perhaps they were aware of the arrival of humans. Other creatures were lying in the sun when Beowulf's men first saw them, but at the sound of the battle-horn they scurried back to the water and slithered beneath the waves. [ch. 10]

There are several Anglo-Saxon words that share the same root as Grendel. The Old English word grindan, for example, and from which we derive our word grind, used to denote a destroyer. But the most likely origin of the name is simply the fact that Grendel is an onomatopoeic term derived from the Old Norse grindill, meaning a storm or grenja, meaning to bellow. The word Grendel is strongly reminiscent of the deep-throated growl that would be emitted by a very large animal and it came into Middle English usage as grindel, meaning angry.

To the hapless Danes who were the victims of his predatory raids, however, Grendel was not just an animal. To them he was demon-like, one who was synnum beswenced (afflicted with sins). He was godes ansaca (God's adversary), the synscatha (evil-doer) who was wonsaeli (damned), a very feond on helle (devil in hell)! He was one of the grund-wyrgen, accursed and murderous monsters who were said by the Danes to be descended from Cain himself. And it is descriptions such as these of Grendel's nature that convey something of the horror with which the men of those times anticipated his raids on their homesteads. [ch.10]


This book is a most fascinating read, and refreshing for strengthening and edifying your faith. If you love the old European names found in Lord of the Rings or Naria or such, you've got to read this book, and this will give you a new understanding and appreciation of your history, and strengthen your belief that the account in the book of Geneisis is indeed historical.
