Top Rabbi Tweets Messianic Prophecy to Troops
For you WND.com readers, you may have seen this, but I just came across it, and was wowed! My response was Glory... Hallelujah! on Facebook! Haha... I had to get out a shoutout!
According to the WND article, the top Rabbi has been reaching out the nation's troops, and sinc so many reservists were recently called in, he decided to TWEET some inspiring verses.
The latest inspirational Messianic verse Tweeted was Zech 12:10, which Christians KNOW speaks of Yeshua. Though it is encouraging that the Rabbi is sending out these tweets, and we pray that the eyes of the hearts of these mostly secular IDF troops will be opened to the Truth, the passage of Zech 12:10 will ultimately befulfilled at the next global confrontation with Israel, when the entire world follows the one world leader, the man of lawlessness, against Lord Yeshua in the valley of Jehoshaphat.

The Dread(?) of Egypt
For the past couple of days, Egypt (Mizraim for you Bible scholars) has been aligning itself with Hamas and the 'activists' in Gaza. This is definitely more of a threat to Israel, another(!) people to contend and defend with!!! But how is this going to turn out for Israel?
Surrounded on every side, and now (Muslim) Egypt added to the picture. Remember, the media doesn't want you to think that this is a religous war, but that's very much what it is, and why Ahmadenijad keeps talking about wiping out the Jews and bringing the Mahdi. And not only is it a war on the Jews, but also on Christianity. Moderate Muslims, in the name of peaceful jihad, and false prophets posing as pastors, seek to unite Islam and Christianity. But the very basis of Chrisitanity is that Yeshua ha Mashiach, is the second person of the Godhead, taking the submissive role as the Son of the living Adonai. What is the Bible's testimony concerning this?
1 John 5:10-11 10 The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son. 11 And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
Ok, my wife is coming and is going to need the computer... so I got on another soapbox! So waht does scripture say about Egypt coming against Israel? I've spoken of Isaiah 19, and how we saw the fulfillment of that unfolding beginning in January of 2011, of which the Lord told me a week or so prior (Amos 3:7). So now, we can read Isaiah 19, and know what is in store for Egypt, and what ultimately will become of her.
And I may have to develop this later, but for now, addressing the threat of Egypt aligning itself with Hamas. Bad move. Here's what the Bible says:
Isaiah 19:16-17
16 In that day the Egyptians will become like women, and they will tremble and be in dread because of the waving of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which He is going to wave over them. 17 The land of Judah will become a terror to Egypt; everyone to whom it is mentioned will be in dread of it, because of the purpose of the LORD of hosts which He is purposing against them.
Let's just say, it's not going to look good for Egypt. All you Egyptian copts, run and take cover, or get out of there or something!

Yesterday, Ezekiel 28 and the Alien Unveiling
Yesterday morning, when I opened my Bible, Father led me quickly to Ezekiel 28, where it was speaking of Tyre. Now I hope you don't only watch the mainline media news, which is blaming Israel for this conflagration! For months Israel has been under a constant barrage from rocket attacks, from Gaza, from Syria, essentially all around. They have displayed amazing restraint in their response! No other country in the world would put up with so much for so long. It's a great lesson for us Christians! But I digress... I believe that Ezek. 28 is speaking to today's situation, and the LORD impressed on my heart: 24 "And there will be no more for the house of Israel a prickling brier or a painful thorn from any round about them who scorned them; then they will know that I am the Lord GOD."
Israel, Adonai's chosen people, are going to be victorious, as the world watches in amazement. Islam is going to suffer a setback, but will not be eradicated. The leader who arises from all this and confirms the seven year treaty with Israel will deceive many, demand allegiance to himself as God, and will speak blasphemy against Yhwh, much like Shirley McClain, Oprah Winfrey, etc., etc. The Apostle John calls this man the incarnation of the Antichrist!
1 John 2:22 22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the Antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.
As I said yesterday, this is going to be one of the most catastrophic wars the world has seen... isn't it funny how it always involves the Jews? I mean, not from them, but always against them, to try to destroy them! This is indeed a confirmation that there is a spiritual battle going on for the hearts and souls of men. And the dragon doesn't like men, made in the image of God. He concocts all these ways to offer men promises in the name of improving their lives, eradicating diseases, gaining new powers and abilities, extending life, gaining knowledge, becoming like God Most High (Genesis 3:5). And the world falls for it! We are fed it through cartoons, movies, music, commercials, while the governments spoon feed society bits of what they've been up to for years, to condition us for the releasing of this news! You've heard of social engineering, right? The Bible doesn't call national leaders 'shepards' for nothing.
As the LORD led me to Ezekiel 28, I began reading where the prophecy was against Sidon. And the LORD gave me a sense that this is for today, that it is Rhema revelation! And He really impressed on me this verse:
24 "And there will be no more for the house of Israel a prickling brier or a painful thorn from any round about them who scorned them; then they will know that I am the Lord GOD."
There you have it, the good, Sovereign ruler, who sent His Son for us declared victory for Israel.
At the end of this cataclysmic war, the "aliens" are going to reveal themselves as beings who have watched over mankind for billions of years, and guided our evolution (did you notice there is no 'imagio dei' in this?). If the timing of the Pre-Tribulation rapture is correct, and it's not Mid-Tribulational (i.e. before the middle point of the Tribulation where Antichrist declares himself God), then the church will be caught up to be with the LORD for seven years, until His return in power and glory, as KING of kings and LORD of lords. Every knee will bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father!

J. Post - This September, The World May Divide Between Israel and Palestine
Martin Indyk, former US ambassador to Israel and adviser to US Middle East envoy George Mitchell, said Thursday that if no changes are made between now and September, the UN will declare a Palestinian state.
"Unless the US, Israel and the Palestinians have an alternative, the Palestinian plan can not be won," Indyk told Army Radio. "If there isn't anything else, then in September there will be a vote in the UN that will recognize a Palestinian state, just like the UN recognized Israel in 1948."
Indyk explained that the US does not have veto power in the UN's General Assembly. "The US may vote against it, but that won't stop it," he said.
If a Palestinian state is declared, Israel could be considered an occupier of of a UN-member country, "and that would be an uncomfortable situation for Israel," Indyk said.
"Tactically, it is very easy for the Palestinians to go to the UN - it doesn't cost them anything, and it puts pressure on Israel," Indyk told Army Radio. "As a strategy, Israel needs to think about the day after the vote."
Indyk added that, should the UN approve a Palestinian state in September, it will prove Hamas's point, that there is no reason for negotiations, and encourage violence.

Developments in the Middle EAst are seemingly moving towards the fulfillment of Ps. 83.
1 O God, do not remain quiet; Do not be silent and, O God, do not be still. 2 For behold, Your enemies make an uproar, And those who hate You have exalted themselves. 3 They make shrewd plans against Your people, And conspire together against Your treasured ones. 4 They have said, "Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation, That the name of Israel be remembered no more." 5 For they have conspired together with one mind; Against You they make a covenant: 6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites; 7 Gebal and Ammon and Amalek, Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; 8 Assyria also has joined with them; They have become a help to the children of Lot. Selah .

Israel- How Can You Defend Her?
David Harris wrote a most interesting little article no the Huffington Post. No, I don't read the blog, not regularly. I read this in the observatins column of Daily Alert, prepared for the presidents of Jewish organizatins and corprations within the U.S. to keep them abreast of the world-situation. I think he makes a very good point!

After a lecture at a British university, an old acquaintance said to me: "I read the things you write about Israel. I hate them. How can you defend that country? What happened to the good liberal boy I knew 30 years ago?" I replied: "That good liberal boy hasn't changed his view. Israel is a liberal cause, and I am proud to speak up for it."
Sometimes it's the small things, the driving lesson in Jerusalem, with the student behind the wheel a devout Muslim woman, and the teacher an Israeli with a skullcap. It's the two gay men walking hand-in-hand along the Tel Aviv beachfront and no one looked at them. It's the Friday crowd at a mosque in Jaffa.
It's the central bus station in Tel Aviv where a free health clinic was set up for the thousands of Africans who have entered Israel, some illegally. While tiny Israel wonders how many such refugees it can absorb, Israeli medical professionals volunteer their time in the clinic.
It's Save a Child's Heart, an Israeli institution providing children from Iraq, the West Bank, Gaza, and other Arab places with world-class cardiac care for free.
It's the Israelis who, with quiet resolve and courage, are determined to defend their small sliver of land against every conceivable threat - the growing Hamas arsenal in Gaza; the dangerous build-up of missiles by Hizbullah in Lebanon; nuclear-aspiring Iran's calls for a world without Israel; Syria's hospitality to Hamas leaders and transshipment of weapons to Hizbullah; and enemies that shamelessly use civilians as human shields.
