Uniting in the Days of Awe...

These are amazing times in which to be living, to see so much Biblical prophecy converging together, that deals with the last days, the last "man'-ruled empire before Messiah Yeshua returns to set up His millenial reign on earth!

And it seems apparent that so many Protestant Chrisitians, who have held the sway for so long, are finally recognizing and turning back to the Truth, of the JEWISH MESSIAH.  Jesus was a Jew... He lived a sinless life by keeping Torah!  "Those who claim to live in Him must also walk as He walked."  That is, we are to live as Messiah lived, in obedience to God's commands, keeping Torah.

And you know, I've discussed this with my pastor, and we've really wrestled with the implications for this for us Gentile/Israeli believers.  It's not that we "have to" keep Torah, certainly we agree with Paul that "no one is justified by the works of the Torah."  No, we are justified by grace through faith in Yeshua Messiah, it is the gift of God, nor of works, lest any man should boast" (Eph. 2:8,9).

But we get to keep Torah... we are ingrafted into the cultivated tree of Israel.  So many things are happening at once; we see Daniel 8 being played out in the scenario with ISIS (a fitting name, since Isis's, or Semiramus' husband was the first one-world ruler, building the tower of Babel ~ Gen. 10, 11), the high holy days, new threats from ISIS, UFO revelations, micro-chipping technologies expand and infiltrate society at large, the U.S. president ignores the body of law of the U.S. and appeals straight to the U.N. ...

All these things are upon us... and the end of the once great, once (largely) godly U.S. is upon us.  If the Daniel 8 sceneario is being played out before our eyes, the goat coming from the West "across the whole surface of the earth, without touching the ground (i.e. "airstrikes," "no boots on the ground" Dan. 8:5-8), and the U.S. is the "notable horn" on the goat (the U.N.), then this tells us that America is about to be destroyed as the world knows it!  And when it is broken up into four parts (Russian, Chinese, Mexican, Canadian?), then the dreaded psuedo-Christ will emerge.  As all the false religions hope, "out of chaos, order."

But that is where ourhope goes back to the revelation given Daniel in chapter 2, where the final empire, represented by the two feet of iron and clay, partly strong and brittle, where the fallen angels are again "mixing their seed" with the seed of humanity, but the huge Rock from heaven, the Lord Jesus Christ, returns and smashes the end-time reign of the Antichrist, and restores all things under His rule... and Zechariah 14 tells us it is a Jewish kingdom!

Zech. 14:16 ⌊And then⌋e every survivor from all those nations coming against Jerusalem will go up year after yearf to worship the king, Yahweh of hosts, and celebrate the Feast of Booths.g 17 ⌊And then⌋h whoever of the clans of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the king, Yahweh of hosts, it will not rain on them.  (posted from www.biblia.com) 

If you do not have a personal relationship with Yeshua, and you want to be saved from these things, it's not too late. Yeshua will forgive you, whatever you've done, if you come to him in repentance and faith (believing in Him and His work on the cross). Everyoneon earth is going to come into trouble at this stage in history, in one form or another, but those who call upon the Lord Yeshua will be saved (Rom. 10:13)!

We have just come through Rosh Hashannah, for those of you following the Jewish calendar, or those interested in Bible Prophecy.  It is now the Jewish year 5775 A.W. (in the year of the world), dating back from Creation.  The next High Holy Day is Yom Kippur (the day of Atonement), following 10 days after Rosh Hashannah.  The intervening time is known as the 10 days of Awe.  A time of preparation leading up to the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur).  

I know on Fb, that many believers are agreeing to unite in fasting and in prayer during this time, to repent of our sins before the Most High, and to pray for blessing upon Israel during this time, "when all the nations of the world turn against her" (Zech. 12:2,3), and they will be "grievously injured" declares the LORD.  Pray for Israel at this time... she has indeed been a blessing to humanity, though the world lives in denial of this.  My prayer to the Most High, is that through this time of a great outpourin of wrath upon the countries, the nations that do not fear Him, and curse Israel (Gen. 12:3), that Yhwh would remember mercy, and impart salvation (Hab. 3:2).

Hab. 3:18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord,

I will joy in the God of my salvation. 19 GOD, the Lord, is my strength;

he makes my feet like hinds’ feet,

he makes me tread upon my high places.

U.S., Russia, Both Send in Warships! Get Ready!

So both the U.S. and Russia are sending military ships into the Mediterranean.  The coming war approaches.  The Burning Man/World Teacher/Maitreya/Messiah will soon appear.  The long anticipated time of chaos and global destruction is coming from which the New World Order emerges.  To borrow some phrases, Eyes Up, Look to Jesus.  The Savior is on His way, and all those who take the Mark of the New World Order, and who worship the Beast will be condemned to eternal Hell!  Don't do it!  Turn to Jesus Christ in the Holy Word of God!  Biblical scripture is being fulfilled, all is happening as the Bible proclaims it!  Only fools will reject God's loving revelation that He sent His Son to destroy the works of the Devil, and to rescue us from the present evil age!

Hagel gives Israel the go ahead to make war with Iran as it sees fit.  The article pointed out that Israel and the U.S. are in "complete agreement."  Is this the what will set off the fulfillment of the Psalm 83 and Isaiah 17 prophecies?

He said there’s no “daylight” or “gap” between the United States and Israel when it comes to taking out Iran’s nuclear reactors (and, although unstated, its military and civilian infrastructure). In order to accomplish this, Hagel said the United States has agreed to sell Israel more military hardware, including V-22 Osprey transport aircraft and air refueling tankers that will be used in the coming attack. Hagel insisted the arms deal is meant to send a message to Iran.

God Will Judge Gaza?

⁴ For Gaza will be abandoned And Ashkelon a desolation; Ashdod will be driven out at noon And Ekron will be uprooted.  ⁵ Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, The nation of the Cherethites! The word of the LORD is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines; And I will destroy you So that there will be no inhabitant.

 

Gaza will be abandoned?  So says Zephaniah (2:4).  Zephaniah speaks of a war with the neighboring countries around Israel who are destroyed, abandoned and of some he says, “made like Sodom…”  and, “made like Gomorrah” (2:9).  Moab and the land of the Ammonites are destined to be made like the OT cities which were destroyed for their widespread practice of homosexuality; their great immorality against the I AM (Gen. 19:24).  So if that tells us anything concerning the Muslim lands around Israel, their fate, like Sodom and Gomorrah will be a rain of fire and sulfur “out of heaven,” that is, from the sky.

So how are you sure where exactly these locations you are speaking of are in the Bible?  Many of the place in scripture are described with enough identifiers to know which locations are spoken.  But aside from that, most of certainty concerning Biblical places comes from archaeological finds that confirm Biblical data.

One website which I think is an excellent tool in researching Biblical locations, which has already done much of the homework, is http://a.openbible.info/geo/.  With this site you can type in the book and chapter of the Bible you are in, and using Google earth, find the Biblical locations which are being spoken of.

Using this site for Zephaniah ch. 2, it places the locations, though some retain their ancient and Biblical names, like Gaza and Ashdod for instance.  Sodom and Gomorrah are located at the south end of the Dead Sea, while Gaza, Ashdod and Ashkelon are located on the coastline of Israel proper.  Today, these cities and territories are inhabited by Muslim peoples that are increasingly raging against Israel, as told of in Psalm 83:4-5.  Verse five tells us that in conspiring against Israel and the Jewish people, they are in fact conspiring against Yahweh Himself (v. 5)!

Psalm 83:5  ⁵ For they have conspired together with one mind; Against You they make a covenant:

When Israel first came up out of servitude in Egypt, the LORD told Israel not to provoke or take the land of Esau’s descendants (Edom) or that of the children of Lot (Moab and Ammon).  But these relatives of the Israelites grew a contempt against Israel, and the prophet Zephaniah prophesies that they are going to be punished, even destroyed for the attitude and behavior toward Israel.

Zephaniah 2:9-13, 15   ⁹ "Therefore, as I live," declares the LORD of hosts, The God of Israel, "Surely Moab will be like Sodom And the sons of Ammon like Gomorrah-- A place possessed by nettles and salt pits, And a perpetual desolation. The remnant of My people will plunder them And the remainder of My nation will inherit them."  ¹⁰ This they will have in return for their pride, because they have taunted and become arrogant against the people of the Yahweh Saboath.  ¹¹ The LORD will be terrifying to them, for He will starve all the gods of the earth; and all the coastlands of the nations will bow down to Him, everyone from his own place.  ¹² "You also, O Ethiopians, will be slain by My sword."  ¹³ And He will stretch out His hand against the north And destroy Assyria, And He will make Nineveh a desolation, Parched like the wilderness.

For now, the U.S. is still on the side of Israel, as long as the U.S. continues to be the U.S.A.   It seems that after the re-election of president Obama, many of the states have citizens with movements underway to secede from the historic union that once made our nation great.  The abscence of America in end-times prophecies has puzzeled many for decades...  We may be abou to see the reason why!

Damascus leveled by IDF

Damascus has been one of the oldest continually inhabited cities on earth, for about 5,000 years.  Today it is the capital city of Syria, and the regime of totalitarian Bashr al-Assad.  The Bible predicts that Damascus will become a ruin, a heap (Is. 17:1).

The Bible has been, and continues to remain true in its fulfillment of prophecy, right up to the present time describing the scenario in the Moiddle East, and the stance of the nations of the world against Israel.  Damascus now is the not only the capital of Syria, but also the headquarters for several terrorists networks.

Israel has shown with a show of force, when fighting from Syria "spilled over" into Israel, that she will not tolerate attacks against her citizens.  Something in the near future is going to prompt fighting with Syria, and Damascus will be taken out.

But it seems it will be no pretty scenario for Israel either.  The end times Muslim jihad war with Israel is going to ecalate, and Isaiah 17 also reports that "the splendor of Jacob will fade, and his healthy body become emaciated.  It will be as if a reaper had gathered standing grain - his arm harvesting the heads of grain in the valley of Rephaim.  Only gleanings will be left in Israel, as if an olive tree had been beaten - two or three berries at the very top of the tree, for or five on its fruitful branches.  This is the declaration of the LORD, the God of Israel"  (Is. 17:4-6).

The days of this war have not ended, and as Muslims take as their example Muhammed, who broke a covenant he had made, and double crossed and destroyed all the peoples of an entire village, so we cannot expect them to honor this one.  Their God is the devil, who will stop at nothing to wipe out Israel.

Top Rabbi Tweets Messianic Prophecy to Troops

For you WND.com readers, you may have seen this, but I just came across it, and was wowed!  My response was Glory... Hallelujah! on Facebook!  Haha... I had to get out a shoutout!


According to the WND article, the top Rabbi has been reaching out the nation's troops, and sinc so many reservists were recently called in, he decided to TWEET some inspiring verses. 

The latest inspirational Messianic verse Tweeted was Zech 12:10, which Christians KNOW speaks of Yeshua.  Though it is encouraging that the Rabbi is sending out these tweets, and we pray that the eyes of the hearts of these mostly secular IDF troops will be opened to the Truth, the passage of Zech 12:10 will ultimately befulfilled at the next global confrontation with Israel, when the entire world follows the one world leader, the man of lawlessness, against Lord Yeshua in the valley of Jehoshaphat.

Mid-East War, Damascus & Israel

It appears that after months of rockets being fired by Muslims in Gaza, and rockets "accidentally" being fired into norther Israel from spillover from the Syrian revolution, that Israel decided that is enough attacks on their citizens.  So the war is under full sway. 

I was looking on Fox news, and they have a report that says Israel is "on the Brink" of war.  This is full-out Muslim jihad, and unlike Christianity, where Christians love and leave the vengenance to God (Rom. 12:19), Muslims rage and immediately set about taking vengenance, in the name of Allah, the ancient moon god (Al-ilah) of Arabia.

I know it is generally not good method to simply start reading from where you open the Bible, but this past week or so, the LORD seems to be directing me to open in passages He wants me to read (Amos 3:7).  A couple of days ago, I opened to Isaiah 17, and was reviewing again the prophetic passage speaking of the destruction of Damascus.  But applying the same context to the entire passage, it goes on to speak of Israel taking a hit in that war:

Isaiah 17:4-6

⁴ Now in that day the glory of Jacob will fade, And the fatness of his flesh will become lean. ⁵ It will be even like the reaper gathering the standing grain, As his arm harvests the ears, Or it will be like one gleaning ears of grain In the valley of Rephaim. ⁶ Yet gleanings will be left in it like the shaking of an olive tree, Two or three olives on the topmost bough, Four or five on the branches of a fruitful tree, Declares the LORD, the God of Israel.

 

Israel will indeed come out victorious in the Middle East (Is. 17:14).  Damascus will be annihilated.  It looks like we are getting ready to witness some of the most destructive wars in history.  Israel is going to come out victorious, according to the word of Yahweh, but they will suffer from the war.  But one of the results of this war in Adonai's plan is that Israel's eyes will be turned back to Him, their maker, because at present most Jews are secular and don't believe in the God of the Bible.  But like the old addage rightly says, "there are no atheists in a fox-hole".  And so as the war intensifies and engulfes the Middle-East, the elect (both Jews and Gentiles) will turn to their maker, because Messiah Yeshua has made us into one new man in Messiah. 

Ephesians 2:15 ¹⁵ by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace,

God will do this because the seventieth shabua (or 'seven') predicted by the prophet Daniel, is about to begin, where God will resume his working with the Jews, and Messiah will apppear at the end of the 7 year shabua, of which will also end the 7 year peace treaty (Dan. 9:24,27).

Assuming the pre-trib rapture theory is correct, the rapture of the true Church is very near.  But most of the Jews will still remain deceived about the identity of Messiah until the end of the 7 years, when 2/3 of the Jews will have died (Zech. 13:8,9), but the remaining Jews in Israel will be saved as the Calvinistic Apsotle Paul taught in Romans 11:
Romans 11:25-27 ²⁵ For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery-- so that you will not be wise in your own estimation-- that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; ²⁶ and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB." ²⁷ "THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS."

God is working out His plan of redemption.  Last night at a Bible study on Romans, the pastor gave a quote I really liked by Warren Wiersbe to help people understand election: "God is holy and must punish sin; but God is loving and desires to save sinners.  If everybody is saved, it would deny His holiness; but if everybody is lost,it would deny His love.  The solution to the problem is God's sovereign election.

This is setting the stage for the battle outlined in Ezekiel 38, which will precede the 70th week, or 7 year peace treaty put in place by who the scripture calls the Beast, Man of Lawlessness or the Antichrist.
