9.9 M Class Solar Flare/6.6 Quake
With the solar flares erupting on the surface of the sun, BPearthwatch explains how the force of the flares is building pressure around the earth, causing the tectonic plates to shift under the pressure. A 6.6 quake occurred in Torba, Vanuatu, while a Mag 5 happened just south in Gisborne, New Zealand, and a 4.8 Mag. in Northern Fiji. Also, looking on the RSOE EDIS page, a quake of at least 5 Mag. has occurred at the Canary islands, off the coast of West Africa. That could possible have huge tsunami implications for the east coast, depending on what else occurs. I learned of this threat while living along the coast of NC from a local in the region.

9.7 Earthquake Coming to West Coast
9.7 Earthquake Coming to West Coast On October 3, 2013
This appears to be of major note. The Bible says every matter should be attested by two or three witnesses. Brother Bailey has provided the testimony of three witnesses about the West Coast getting hit with a very severe earthquake which is most likely also going to result in a tsunami.
It seems object of this quake is San Francisco because of the great wickedness of this city. If you are a Christian, and haven't got out, make every effort to do so, unless the LORD specifically tells you to stay. But He does tell us in His word to "Come out of her, My people, so you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues." (Rev. 18:4-5).
** update: obviously, Oct. 3 has come and gone, and the quake did not come. But that doesn't mean that we are out of trouble yet. There are many who have had revelations about severe quakes coming... and it is usually for the LORD not to give dates and times. We are told not "to despise prophetic utterances, but test everything..." (1 Thess. 5:20,21).

Earthquake Today: Iran Suffers Massive 7.8 Quake, Evacuations in Abu Dhabi, Buildings Sway in Delhi, India (VIDEO, PHOTOS)
This massive 7.8 magnitudew quake is the second is the past two weeks.
The latest quake in Iran comes following the 6.3 magnitude tremor that hit the country on April 10. That quake hit in the south-west of the country and killed at least 37 people, and injured nearly 900.

We already know that the people living in Iran live largely in poverty and the country's economic prospects are not good, especially in light of sanctions. But more than that, many Iranians dislike Mahmoud Ahmadinejad because his governing has driven his country into the ground (sound like any American politicians?). His policies have not resulted in increased job availability for the majority of the Iranian populace.
Earthquakes is one of the signs that Jesus gave, as to happening in increasing frequency and intensity before His return (Mt. 24:7). Earthquakes around the world have undoubetedly been occuring more often and with greater intensity. Because a number of them lie along the Pacific "Ring of Fire" in no way voids Jesus' prediction of increasing quakes in the last days as a sign of His return. And whether the cause is human, or HAARP or Divine, the fact remains that Jesus told us it would happen before He comes again to destroy His enemies (Ps. 2:4-6).
Sometimes it seems like God's promise to Abraham in Gen. 12:3, to bless those who bless Israel, and curse those who curse Israel, isn't enforced on Muslim nations. Yet we see again God's wrath is not restrained from these Muslim nations. And His wrath is not limited to just natural disasters. It can also manifest as poor (wicked) rulers who drive the country into the ground as well.

Quake shakes Southern California
Quake shakes Southern California
The quake was originally quoted as a 5.2, but later downgraded to a 4.7 magnitude. Fortunately, there was no damage reported or anyone injured in the quake.
But it's just another thing to add to the seeming millions of natural disasters striking around the globe, and all the meteors, and fireballs and rise in UFOs around the world. Indeed, WND has a great article on what the heavens are telling us.
Luke 21:25-26, for example, states: “And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”

That mother earth is travailing in this time, "trying to survive" is what you will hear new agers and many religous leaders say. And this is the explanation that will be given when the Church disappears. They say we will be taken off in huge UFOs, and we may be. But they won't tell you our real destination!
An ancient manuscript tells us:
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.
It also says of those who refuse to believe the gospel of the Lord Jesus, and repent of their sins:
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, 10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 11 For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, 12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.
If you are reading this right now, and do not have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus, ask him to forgive you of all the rebellion you have shown towards him through following your desires, and rejecting His ways and His Word, and ask Him to come into your life as your new Lord and Savior, the new commander of your life. You'll be glad you did. (Rom. 10:9,10)

The End Comes Like a Flood...
“The end will come like a flood…”
Matthew 24:39 39 and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Mn be.
2 Peter 2:5 5 and did not spare athe ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;
I don’t know about you, but it seems like things are happening almost too fast to be writing about.
People have said for ages that “things have gone this way for thousands of years!” Indeed they have. But now events are escalating, just as Jesus taught, “these things are the beginning of birth pangs.” In the Bible, God says that everything should be judged on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
In keeping with His characteristic faithfulness, the Lord gives us a number of categories, which can be broken to subcategories, to judge His return. These categories are
1) Return of Israel,
2) Natural Disasters/Catastrophes,
3) Wars/Globalization,
4) Religious Movements Offering a Works Salvation/False Christs
5) Proclamation of the Gospel to All Nations (Matt. 24:14)
*These five categories can be read about in Matthew chapter 24.
The purpose of this blog is not to detail all five of these categories, but to bring the enormity of signs the Lord has given to us to be able to discern His returning. In fact, in Matt. 24:33, Jesus says, “so too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.”
This morning as I typed, CBN news reported the amount of earthquakes in Oklahoma have increased tenfold!
The year 2010 began with a deadly earthquake in Haiti. But before the year ended, more than 20 earthquakes struck worldwide, reaching a magnitude of 7.0 or higher -- the largest number of major earthquakes in 40 years. That trend is continuing, most recently in New Zealand.
There was a 5.4 magnitude earthquake in southwest China, near the border region of Myanmar.
In April of 2009, if some of you remember, 300 tons of Sardines, fish and 1300 penguins washed ashore dead in Chile. As of March 8th, 2011, millions of dead Sardines wash up in Redondo beach, California. Earlier in January of this past year, birds were falling dead from the sky by the hundreds and thousands everywhere from Arkansas to Sweden
In researching the sources for this, UFO Chronicles makes an attempt to connect the dead birds and fish… I mean, it all did happen at the same time. Cosmic coincidence? Not likely. But the UFO Chronicle’s story was cut short right after “What Bible Prophecy says” At the hyperlink, it is reported the article was removed due to “violation of terms.”
It seems that hostility toward Christians or even conservatives or those who hold Judeo-Christian values, is on the rise. In Germany several parents of school children were jailed, because they did not want their nine and ten-year olds being made to participate in a mandatory same-sex education class, where the children have to participate in an interactive play.
According to the attorney, many Christian parents objected to the programs' content. "They believed that under international law and [under] German law, they had every right to remove their children from those classes and instill in their children their own Christian beliefs about sexuality and love and marriage and chastity -- and for this, ten parents have been sent to jail."
In seminary, it was told us by our seminary professor, that Europe is about 15-20 years ahead of us. That was five years ago we were told that. I’m not so sure the gap is so great now. The desensitization towards immorality and vulgarity on societies has gone a long way, and with the advent of personal technological gadgets, even Christians have a hard time sitting down to read and meditate on the Bible.
Not only in Germany is this discrimination by political elites and agencies on the rise, but also in America. One of the board members of NPR was caught on tape lambasting tea party goers as racist, and saying it was some sort of fringe “evangelical Christian” group. Ummm…. Let me check, Christians view all humanity as created in the image of God, and able to find reconciliation to their Maker if they repent of their sinful ways, and confess Christ, who died for them, as their Savior and Lord. Therefore, Christians (who by the way, in America are becoming a minority of world Christians) can not be racist. And this blog is not the place to speak of all the good Christianity has brought the world. And no, Roman Catholicism is not Christianity, it is a Christian heresy that teaches salvation by works, denying the central message of the New Testament.
Which is another point of concern, the man known as “America’s Pastor,” who sold millions of copies of the Purpose Driven Life, is beginning to show his true colors. Besides being on the board of Tony Blair’s ecumenical organization, which seeks to unite the world religions, he has instituted a program at his church this year, known as the “Daniel plan,” using a Biblical name to give it legitimacy. To lead his parishioners in this plan, he has brought on board three doctors who are new age proponents.
To the shock and dismay of many Christians, a well-known, intelligent and zealous pastor, John Piper, has decided to stand by Warren for a second time. Many are defending him in this move, and trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but many others feel that this give legitimacy to Warren and all his teachings, which, according to the New Testament teachings, would make him considered anathema (Gal. 1:8-9).
Finally, one more category that I would like to mention, that is on most everyone’s radar screens right now, especially as it drives our gas and inflation rates up, is the Middle East tensions. I haven’t spoke too much of the uprising in Libya until now, but it is addressed in the Bible, playing a large role against Israel in the last days, in Ezekiel 38. Joel Rosenberg wrote a nice piece on this on his blog. But essentially, the uprisings are moving the whole world along in God’s prophetic plan, and the nearing day of Messiah.
Gas and Oil prices continue to climb in the midst of this unrest and governmental wars of the peoples revolting against their governmental leaders, kings in most cases, within the Muslim countries. But as the prices continue to rise, and everything else along with it, and the spirit of anarchy spreads and grows worldwide, this whole situation could lead us right into the one world government.
If the spirit of unrest continues to grow, and war breaks out in America, and nations are made into military states, then the U.N. would be able to seize control, and impose upon the world the Global socialist system by which they could consolidate power and money. And then the one-world leader could arise, the Maitreya, the world-teacher, that New-Agers are awaiting, the Psuedo-Christ spoken of in scripture as the man of lawlessness.
23"Thus he said: 'The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth, which will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth and tread it down and crush it.
24'As for the (AL)ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings will arise; and another will arise after them, and he will be different from the previous ones and will subdue three kings.
25'He will (AM)speak out against the (AN)Most High and (AO)wear down the saints of the Highest One, and he will intend to make (AP)alterations in times and in law; and they will be given into his hand for a (AQ)time, times, and half a time.
26'But the court will sit for judgment, and his dominion will be (AR)taken away, annihilated and destroyed forever.
27'Then the (AS)sovereignty, the dominion and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; His kingdom will be an (AT)everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will (AU)serve and obey Him.'

Birth pangs strike Christchurch? *updated
I know some of the regular readers of this blog are from NZ, and so this blog is in tribute to them.
I know this 6.3 magnitude quake was much shallower and much closer to the city of Christchurch, taking place in the middle of the day, so that all the people were out and about. The death toll is now up to 144 according to BBC, but the number of missing persons remains at over 200.

Haiti Pres Calls for Prayer and Fasting to God of the Bible

As a result of this national gathering of Haitians, many turnred from false gods to the One true God, including, get this, 100 vodoo priests. They turned from their majic and in repentance, they surrendered their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. Our natioanal media didn't touch this! As a result of this national gathering of Haitians, many turnred from false gods to the One true God, including, get this, 100 vodoo priests. They turned from their majic and in repentance, they surrendered their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. Our natioanal media didn't touch this! Internet search turned up only three references of coverage/mention of the prayer and fasting in Haiti, and two were Christian!

Does God Hate Haiti?
Why did this quake happen at this time. Sure, Jesus tells us in Matt 24 that one of the signs of the end is earthquakes, famines, etc. increasing in the end time as birth pains. But why Haiti? My former seminary president Dr. Al Mohler comments on this on his blog. I thought it was particularly apt, as many are searching for answers in a time like this.
Does God hate Haiti? That is the conclusion reached by many, who point to the earthquake as a sign of God's direct and observable judgment.
God does judge the nations -- all of them -- and God will judge the nations. His judgment is perfect and his justice is sure. He rules over all the nations and his sovereign will is demonstrated in the rising and falling of nations and empires and peoples. Every molecule of matter obeys his command, and the earthquakes reveal his reign -- as do the tides of relief and assistance flowing into Haiti right now.

In other words, the earthquake reminds us that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only real message of hope. The cross of Christ declares that Jesus loves Haiti -- and the Haitian people are the objects of his love. Christ would have us show the Haitian nation his love, and share his Gospel. In the midst of this unspeakable tragedy, Christ would have us rush to aid the suffering people of Haiti, and rush to tell the Haitian people of his love, his cross, and salvation in his name alone.
