Ramadan: Month of Jihad - Prophetic Convergence?

As the month of Ramadan comes in, many Muslim groups are calling fellow Muslims to unleash upon their infidel neighbors in whose midst they dwell.  Many news sources report this.  Breaking Israel News, Huffington Post, Daily Mail, just to name a few.

Some are disenchanted, having grown numb by all the all of jihad and rumors of war from so many quarters.  Indeed, is this not what Yeshua, the very Word of Elohim said would happen in the last days.  Matthew 24:6  6 "You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end."

That is not yet the end!  That is but a setting stage for the entrance of the Instead-of-Messiah.  Some call him Maitreya, the world teacher.  Others are looking for Mahdi or Christ.  But the holy Bible, which has been and IS accurate in all of its prophecies, says he will be the man of Lawlessness (2 Thess. 2:3).  

What is Lawlessness by which we can distinguish this man/being/creature with a Savior complex?  "Lawlessness" is the English translation of being without the "Law" of God, Yhwh, Elohim, the God of the Bible who revealed His Memorial name to Moses.  The English word translated as Law is more properly translated as "Instruction," as is more fitting of a Father giving direction to His children.  But this word, "Law," is translated from the Hebrew for "Instruction," which is better known as "Torah."

Both Protestant and Catholic Churches throughout the world believe and teach that believers were set free from the Law in our Gentile understanding of the scriptures.  They are right in saying that we cannot earn our salvation by keeping the Law.  True enough, Paul makes this abundantly clear in his beautiful exposition in Romans 3, where he tells us that the whole world is under the Law, yet no one is manifestly able to keep it, for we all fall short of the glory of Elohim.  

But, he tells us that we are justified (declared righteous) through grace, by the redemption which is in Messiah Yeshua, whom Elohim displayed publicly as a propitiation (Rom. 3:24,25).  But then he asks in verse 31, "What then?  Do we nullify the Law through faith?  May it never be!  On the contrary, we establish the Law through faith!"  Romans 3:31 is one of the least expounded verses in the Protestant Bible.

Believers in the Jewish Messiah are to KEEP THE TORAH!  The Apostle John tells us in his first epistle, "He who commits sin commits lawlessness.  Sin is Lawlessness" (1 Jn. 3:4).  So when Scripture declares the coming deceiver/one-world leader the "Man of Lawlessness," we can also translate/understand that as the "Man of Torah-lessness."  So we see his spirit is already among us, and the church is in position spiritually to fall right in line with him.  

But back to the prophecies.  There was a rabbi not too long back leading a group in prayer for the nation of Israel, meeting at the cave of Elijah, who fell into a trance and had Elijah appear to him, and warn of a war coming in the south of Israel, moving northward, in which the lives of many Jews would be lost.

More recently, a New York rabbi received a message from the divine telling him that after Shavuot (the feast of Pentecost), there would be a major civil-war in America.  In the article covered by Israel Today, he is quoted as saying:

"Listen to me carefully dear Jews," said the rabbi, "whoever has in his hand to get up and go and go to the Holy Land Israel as soon as possible while it is still is possible, this includes leaving large parts of South America and most of Europe … also the United States will be a place of danger in the war and it is still too early to say which states within the United States will survive, but many parts will be destroyed and poisoned, even civil war will break out in the United States and states will cut themselves off from the federal government … the Land of Israel will be the safest place to survive the war, although there will also be terrible difficulties there."

And there are more prophecies given of rabbis concerning the end.  Yhwh is not through with His people, nor His Torah!  Read how Messiah will rule upon His return!  Torah is not dead, nor a curse.  It is the Truth (Ps. 119:142)!  The Most High still communicates through dream and vision to His prophets and rabbis.  He is warning us.  Will we listen?

Has a Madhi Appeared?

In this time, after the Hebrew Shmitah year, and entering Daniel's Seventieth Seven (Shabua, Dan. 9:26,27), we will and are seeing Biblical prophesies fulfilled very quickly.

Studying prophetic topics, you begin to realize just how deep and convoluted the enemies plans go.  There are layers upon layers of deceptions, but we must hold our focus upon the word of Yhwh, for it is truth (Jn.17:17; Ps. 119:142).  That's why I appreciate Steven Ben Nun of Israeli News Live.  He and his team have done some excellent investigation, while seeking God and His truth.

I tried downloading his recent report about the Vatican revealing its Muslim Antichrist.  It wouldn't come up in the blog search box.  When I went to Youtube to copy the share address, the video post jumped around, so I couldn't post it.  It's that insightful on all that is going on!  

The Pope Issues Statements Against the Teachings of Yeshua

This has been happening for a while, but now the Pope has said that fundamentalism is "a disease of all religions."   Fundamentally speaking, just what is the Pope saying?  The fundamentals are the basic building blocks, the basic instructions or directions of a faith.

Yeshua taught in John 14:21

He who has My commandments [the fundamentals] and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”


So it seems the very words of the "Vicar of Christ," are against the Messiah Himself. The Messiah, who taught that "vengeance belongs to Go, and "to love our neighbours as ourselves" also taught that "I am the way, the truth and the life." (Jn. 14:6). But now, if we believe that and hold our lives to that, believing Yeshua when He said "Your word, O God, is truth," (Jn. 17:17), that somehow makes us a disease on society?

Something's up.  The Pope is us in ::) a linguistic sleight-of-hand equating the violence sanctioned in Islam with Christianity, which teaches the above platitudes, along with respect for human life, authorities, and government.  He then calls it (with the MSM) "fundamentalism" and applies it to all the faithful across the board!

 By his own words, this Pope is anti-Messiah.

Hanukkah, it's Significance for Believers Today

The next holiday coming up on the Hebrew calendar, celebrating Yah's prophetic events, is Hanukkah.  This feast is not commanded in scripture, yet it is important in the life of those who love the Saviour.  Also know as the feast of Dedication, it was celebrated yearly by Yeshua (Jn. 10:22-23).

Having Your Blessed Life Now!

Much controversy has sprung from Joel Osteen's book, "How to Have Your Best Life Now!"  But believe it or not, the Bible actually does tell you how to have your blessed life now!  Right here, in the last times, with the coming of the pseudo-Christ and the worst period of deceit and persecution in human history, that we are warned about in the pages of the most Holy Book, the Bible.

The Bible is full of pages of scriptures where the Hebrew Prophets, Psalmists and Apostles tell us that we can have our blessed life now!  Now, note, I didn't say "best life," but rather "blessed life," and I think that your blessed life is quite possibly the best life you can have.

One example that I want to use from the pages of scripture is from the very first chapter of the Psalms.  The Psalmist tells us:

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the advice of the wicked;

nor does he stand in the way of sinners;

nor does he sit in the assembly of mockers.

2 Instead, in the law of Yahweh is his delight,

and on his law he meditates day and night.

Here you have it. It really doesn't get any simpler than this. How can you have your blessed life in a world that is filled with persecution, anti-Semitism, trans-humanism, invasion of demons who were let loose after being bound for 70 generations? How can you have your blessed life living among nations where there is a growing consensus against Judeo-Christian values, where the Church looks and sounds like the world, the number of demon-possession cases is on the rise?


The Psalmist tells us that the have to have your blessed life now, is "to come out from them and be separate!" Not to walk in the advice of the wicked, or to stand in the way of sinners, or even sit in the assembly of mockers, but to DELIGHT yourself in the TORAH of YHWH, to meditate on it day and night! 


And so here you have it!  It's really a quite simple concept.  But it's something that Christians have been taught (at least the last century) that "We are free from the Torah!", and thus doing away with the foundation and support for the B'rit Chadasha (aka New Testament).

And if we DO do this, we meditate (think about or on) the Torah (first five books of the Bible), the Psalmist goes on to tell us what our life is going to look like.

3 And so, he is like a tree planted by streams of water

that gives its fruit in its season;

its leaf also does not wither.

Therefore all that he does prospers.

And this is how you can have your Blessed life Now!



The False Prophet IS HERE?

  I don't know if you know of St. Malachy's prophecy of the popes, it was of 112 popes, down to the last pope. This prophecy has been right on for every pope, and our current one is next to last. Many theologians, both protestant and Catholic, think this next one is the false prophet Prophecy of the Popes.   I listened to an Internet radio interview last night, and they think they know who it is. This is also going to be the year the aliens, UFOs, ascended masters make contact with the earth.  The papacy has been making way for the acceptance of extra-terrestrials and their version of salvation.  Will the Anti-Christ, the Maitreya, the world teacher be an Ascended Master or all-wise Master from Space sent to aid humanity in its quest for divinity?

A Call Forward for Salem

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” John 14:6a



Every Pastor and Counselor knows that every story has two sides. “The first to plead his case seems right till someone comes to examine him” (Pr. 18:17). During this trial at Salem Baptist, charges were laid against the pastor on Sunday night.

As Southern Baptists, we take pride in believing we follow the Bible, and claiming its total authority for life. But we do not practice what we preach. We know that God is completely sovereign, and that the Lord brought pastor Joe here, and has brought me here to serve alongside him as a co-pastor. With charges being laid, they need to be examined and answered with truth.

We need to be careful in laying charges against God’s anointed. Korah did so, and was enraged at Moses for “making himself more holy” than the rest of the Jews (Num. 16:1-2). Korah, in his arrogance claimed to be as holy as Moses (v. 3ff). God threatened to wipe out all the Jews and begin again with Moses (v. 21), but afte Moses and Aaron interceded for the people, God had mercy and only destroyed Korah, Dathan and Abiram (vv. 31-33)

We need to be careful we do not find ourselves fighting against the Lord Christ. So as a body of believers, we need to seek peace (reconciliation) with one another (Rom. 14:19), and make sure we are following the Lord Jesus’ will for Salem Baptist (Matt. 5:16; Rom 8:29-30; Phil. 3:7-11).

The purpose for the existence of the Church is not to do ministry the way we think it should be done, or for our desires, or according to the latest church growth paradigm, but for the glorification of Christ, and the upbuilding of the body of Christ, into conformity with Him who is its head (Rom. 8:28-30; 1 Cor 14:12).

It should serve as no surprise to us that demonic forces should try to divide the church in these last days we are living in (1 Ptr. 4:12-13, 5:8-9). He already knows the time for his emergence is near, and his time is short (Rev. 12:12).

So in these times of trial, what should our perspective be? We should be seeing and understanding this trial as an opportunity to know Christ better, and to let his light shine through us. It is during the hard times that the light of Christ shines the most brightly.

Monday morning, the LORD spoke to me as I was in his word. I was just praying and meditating on (actively thinking about) the situation. The Lord impressed upon me 1 Cor. 13:4-8, and you know, as the chapter starts out, Paul says, “If I speak the languages of men and of angels, but do not have love, I am a sounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge and if I have all faith, so that I can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing… if I give my body to be burned, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”

So that is the first mark of Christian character we should display is agape (God’s unconditional love). And agape never fails (v. 8).

Another passage comes to mind, Colossians 3:1-4, “So if you have been raised with the Messiah, seek what is above, where the Messiah is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with the Messiah in God. When the Messiah, who is your life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.”


Thank God that the mediation team is in place, and let us pray daily for them that God will give them understanding and wisdom, and that the purposes of God will prevail in this situation.

Good News from Egypt

The Media has shown mass repeated footage of rioting, fighting, protesting in the streets, and victims of the violence.  Since the people began to call for the resignation of Mubarak, this has been the focus of the news.  With all the negative images coming from the Middle-East, it could be tempting for an individual to despair.

But there is some good news coming out of Egypt, which of course the mainstream media is not going to cover.  The body of Christ in the country of Egypt is seeing an expansion.  Tom Doyle, VP and Middle-East Director for e3 partners tells us of some of the information that he is receiving from within Egypt.

Actually, many ministries in that Biblical country are seeing God moving in very powerful ways in recent years. Egyptians are coming to faith in Christ, growing in their faith, pastors are being trained and encouraged, and the Church as a whole is growing. One ministry, for example, saw some 3,100 people pray to receive Christ and numerous churches planted throughout the country in 2010 alone. An medical ministry team serving in Egypt recently saw over 100 people become followers of Jesus. And these young national believers are committed to reaching even the most remote villages with the Gospel and to also leave behind a life-giving church that disciples the believers. God is clearly moving powerfully in the land of the Pharaohs.




We have been talking with friends and allies in Egypt during this new political and economic crisis and they are thankful for all the prayers of believers from around the world. Please continue to pray for their families and the rest of the great young leaders who have been discipled and are now church leaders in Egypt. Nine of our Egyptian workers went to prison last year for sharing Christ. But by God’s grace and the prayers of the saints, they were released soon after and remain deeply committed to serving the Lord. They thank God for the persecution and tell us: "When we believers are persecuted we go underground, and while we are there our roots grow strong and healthy. We then emerge more fit to be Christ's ambassadors and more willing to stand firm in the midst of the persecution."



Many of the believers are calling the church to more prayer and fasting all throughout Egypt. Let’s join them.


Amen.  Often when the riches of the world are taken from people, or these empty promises of fulfillment and satisfaction collapse, only then can they be opened to realize their true need for salvation through Jesus Christ.  It is when the riches of the world fail us that God rises and shows His majesty and His power, His salvation through the crucified and resurrected Lord Jesus.

God Gifts and Callings

“God’s Gifts and Calling are Irrevocable.”




26 And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written: The Liberator will come to Zion; He will turn away godlessness from Jacob. 27 And this will be My covenant with them, when I take away their sins. 28 Regarding the gospel, they are enemies for your advantage, but regarding election, they are loved because of their forefathers, 29 since God’s gracious gifts and calling are irrevocable.

Romans 11:26-29 (HCSB)

IN the days of the great falling away, there are many heresies. One of those spoken to already in this blog is Preterism. Another is known as Replacement Theology. Replacement theology is a broad term that describes different views which assumes the Church has replaced Israel’s place in the covenant blessings (not curses though) of God. This view has effected much of the Gentile Church since the days of Martin Luther.

Preterism, a more dastardly Marxist theological view, says that the Lord returned in 90 A.D. and resurrected his people. The believers left on earth are left to do their best to get things in shape. Their only real hope is the departure to heaven when they die.


Both of these views teach that the Gentile Church has replaced God’s purpose for the Jews. This is based on a serious misunderstanding of scripture and voids many of the prophetic passages dealing with God’s dealing with the nations and in particular, the Jews in the last days.


Romans is a jewel in the midst of the New Testament, so rich with theological jewels and precious jewels. It’s the closest we have to systematic theology of the New Testament. Martin Luther himself (who was converted by the illuminiation of Rom. 1:17 – “a righteousness is revealed, that is by faith from first to last”) said in it is “the purest gospel… it should be read every day.” Oh, had we given heed to his words! We might have been spared the theological and damnable heresies in our day. But who can contest the will of God? 17 Why, O LORD, do You cause us to stray from Your ways And harden our heart from fearing You? Isaiah 63:17.



The apostle Paul writes in this passage found near the end of Romans in this great treatise on election and predestination (chapters 9-11), which is centered on the nation of Israel and God’s choosing and calling Israel to be his chosen people. This is where God says that his gracious gifts (the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the temple service, and the promises-Romans 9:4 (HCSB) and His calling (to be a blessing to all nations, to bring salvation to the earth, et al.) are irrevocable.



So let’s look at the above passage. Paul says “and in this way all Israel will be saved.” Many assume by a quick reading through the passage that Israel will be saved by the preceeding text of this verse, the salvation of the Gentiles. But that is not what Paul means at all.



Paul is saying in effect, “And in this way, all Israel (that is, all those chosen to receive the gift of salvation Jn 15:16) will be saved.” And the next sentence, he quotes from the prophet Isaiah, “And the Liberator will come to Zion; He will turn away godlessness from Jacob. 27 And this will be My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.” It is in this way that Israel will be saved. Not by passing the gospel baton on to the Gentiles.



Paul affirms Isaiah, and states that the Liberator will come to Zion and turn godlessness away from Jacob. This is the covenant God has made with Israel when He takes away their sins. They are saved by grace through faith, and that not of themselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, so that no one can boast (Eph 2:8,9).



Zechariah prophesied of the same thing when he was speaking of the return of the Messiah to defend his people against the nations of the earth, which had gathered against her in the great confrontation known as Armageddon.



"In that day a fountain will be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for impurity. 2 "It will come about in that day," declares the LORD of hosts, "that I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they will no longer be remembered; and I will also remove the prophets and the unclean spirit from the land.”

Zechariah 13:1-2



And this is when the LORD cleanses his people of their sin, at the end of the 7 year reign of the one world ruler, the man of lawlessness, whom “the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming” 2 Thess. 2:8. The people of Israel will “look on Me whom they have pierced” (Zech 12:10). At this point the Messiah will establish His rule upon the earth, and His chosen ones shall be ministers upon the earth for the thousand year rule of the Messiah (Rev. 20:6).



So the testimony of scripture is that God is indeed not finished with the Jews. In fact, they are the only nation on earth that has remained intact and reassembled after 1800 years of dispersion among the nations of the world. One of the greatest miracles was the recognition of the Jewish state in 1948, and even up to today Jews continue to make aliyah and return to their homeland.



God’s gifts and His callings are irrevocable. We are so shortsighted, and don’t recognize the work of the LORD. As followers of the Messiah, followers of the One who claims to be the Truth, it behooves us to stand with Israel.

When the Watchmen Are Silenced

America, does anyone care what is being done to your country? Do you think you will continue to enjoy life unparalleled to the rest of the world, when the rights and freedoms that make your country great are being taken away?

The Bible predicts in Daniel 2 & 7, the final great empire before the return of the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. This empire at first is under the control of 10 rulers. Then one will arise and take the power of three, and the world will wonder and adore him. This person, the 'smal horn' of Daniel 7:7-8, 20-22, is also known as the anti (or psuedo) Christ. President Obama is not the antichrist, but he is helping things fall right into place for the coming of the one who will claim Christ's place, and will capture the wonder of the world.

Things are going to get worse on earth, despite all the supplciations that re poured out for the "mother earth" goddess. One day soon all are going to bow their knee, either willingly or not, and confess Jesus Christ as Lord of Lords, and King of Kings. And if they haven't done it willingly, they're going to pay eternally with destruction in the lake of fire, along with that Master Deceiver, Lucifer, and the Masters of Wisdom.

Islamic U.S. prelude to rule of the Mahdi (Antichrist)

Ali Akbar Dareini wrote an article for the AP that tells us that a radical [orthodox, i.e. faithful] Muslim cleric talked about envisioning the creation of a "greater Iran" which would include the entire Middle East and Central Asia, and be a prelude to the coming single global ruler of the universal Islamic Caliphate, the Madhi.

World, you better start practicing Arabic.  You're going to soon become very familiar with it.  J. Richardson in his book, The Islamic Antichrist, talks about the similarities of the Biblical end-times sceneraio, and Muslim eschatology.  Islam's Madhi, their supposed deliverer, in Islamic tradition, fits to a T the Biblical Antichrist, the person who enters the scene with a 7 yr. peace plan to bring peace to the Middle East. 

In the AP article, Ayatollah Mohammad Bagher Kharrazi spoke of the "greater Iran" he envisioned, but said it would "bring about the destruction of the Jewish state."  In the book of Revelation, the apocalyptic book of hte Bible, Satan is described as a dragon, who is trying to devour the child born to the woman with a crown of twelve stars on her head.  The woman is helped by the earth (yes tree-huggers, nature-lovers, the Bible teaches the earth is on the side of its Maker, not on the side of you!). 

We have seen through history the persecution of the Jews, from nearly all parts of the world, yet they have survived, and even thrived in spite of it.  Now, after 1800 years in exile among the nations, God has restored the Jews to the land he promised to Abraham, the "called-out Iraqi," in fulfillment of the promises of Ezekiel 36, 37.  Chapter 37 is commonly known in historic Christian America as the "Valley of Dead Bones." 

We can see (if we are willing) the truth of the Apocalyptic book of Revelation, and of the dragon's attempts to destroy the male-child, destined to rule over the nations (see Dan. 7, the dominion of the Son of Man) in all the historic attempts to destroy the Jews as a people.  Most recent in history (besides the constant attacks from Muslims in the "West Bank" (a.k.a. religous, historical Israel) was the holocaust, of which Muslims, and certain black liberationist groups deny.

But within the apocalyptic pages of scripture, the Antichrist, a.k.a. the man of lawlessness (2 Thess 2:3,4), we see he will declare himself to be God 3 1/2 yrs into the "peace covenant" he has enacted with the Middle East (2 Thess. 2:4; Dan. 9:27).  At this point, much to the chagrin of Muslims, this Madhi, will demand personal worship and allegeiance, and all who do not bow will have their heads chopped off, another similarity with the prophetic pages (Revelation 20:4). 

Islam will be the final one-world religion.  We see all around us, with PRESIDENT BARRACK OBAMA's complicit willingness/fear/eagerness to allow for and promote Islam in the United States of America, while he disdains and undermines America's Christian heritage.  ISLAM IS GAINING GROUND IN THE U.S.A.  Ahmadenijad, and other Muslim clerics have warned America to convert of face the consequences.  This is part of the formula for converting/conquering peoples and lands.  First, they are warned, and if the do not heed the warning, the Muslims are justified in waging jihad on that nation/people.  IT IS COMING AMERICA, make no doubt.

In fact, this may be the national "catastrophe" that BARRACK HESSEIN OBAMA will exploit to seize control of the U.S. and make us into a military state.  The more I have studied and learned, and observed in the world, the more I am convinced that the single most important book in life is the Holy Bible. It is the most historically validated book, and there IS MORE EVIDENCE THAT JESUS CHRIST WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD THAN THAT ABRAHAM LINCOLN EXISTED! 

If you want to get ready for the end-times, and the judgments that God is already beginning to pour out, you need to repent of your sins, and surrender control of you life to the LORD Jesus Christ.  He's return is soon, and this man who garners the worship and allegiance of the world is going to be destroyed by the shining of the LORD's glorious appearance.  If you want to be preserved and made right with your Creator, do the above, and love the LORD your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.  If you don't want to be put right with HIM, disregard what I just said (Rev 14:6,7).

Honoring which Name?

Luke 13:34-35 34 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, just as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not have it! 35 "Behold, your house is left to you desolate; and I say to you, you will not see Me until the time comes when you say, 'BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!'"

John 5:43 43 "I have come in My Father's name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him.

Jesus wept over Jerusalem, the city that rejected Him, and ultimately put Him to death. The Jews will not honor the Messiah, but they will honor one who comes in his own name, to their own destruction. The man of lawlessness will come and will make a covenant of peace with the Jews for 7 years (Dan. 9:27). They will honor this man, but to their own destruction. After 3 ½ yrs., this man will declare himself to be God, and will behead all who do not bow to him. Not until Israel has gone through 3 ½ yrs of the worst persecution in history will they cry out, “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the LORD.”

End of America, Emergence of Maitreya & War in Israel

These days prophecy is being fulfilled faster than most of us can observe or realize. Many have heard of Ahmadinejad's latest prophetic announcement. Feb. 11 is to be the Demise of America, according to this "Twelver" who claims to be in contact with the Twelfth Imam. There have been repeated reports that the FBI and CIA are aware of Islamic sleeper-cells throughout America's major financial centers. They are simply awaiting the word from "on high" to launch the next series of attacks to be "much greater than 9/11". http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/60801

On another note, the Maitreya has supposedly begun his emergence, according to his faithful herald, Benjamin Creme. In Creme's words, Maitreya has held his "first interview," though no details of it are given on their site, www.share-international.org. Creme does have a small clip announcing this emergence. He says Maitreya will not use that name though, until enough people recognize him for what he is. He comes in the name of "justice, peace and sharing". 11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie (2 Thess 2:11). Could this be the delusion from the Lord?

Another point many bible scholars have been following closely, in Israel's prepartions for war with Iran, who is supposed to have a nuclear weapons this year, and may in fact have it now. But it's been very interesting to see the pieces fall into place with this upcoming war. With the past decade's history of embatterment from their muslim neighbors on almost all sides, Israel has grown alienated from Turkey . Israeli intelligence declared that Damscus is supplying terrorists with missles to fire on Israel, which makes it likely we'll see the fulfillment of Isaiah 17:1 in the next couple of months (or weeks).

This could all very well come together on Feb. 11. Will this be the time of the selection process the new agers are warning about? We can't be sure, but we know "the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way" (2 Thess 2:7). Amen, come Lord Jesus.
