The Israelite Kingdom of God.

The Kingdom of God (Yhwh), what does it look like in the end?  Most believers today have a faulty view of what the kingdom of God is, since "the Church" believes to one extent or another that it has replaced the Jews for rejecting their Messiah, Yeshua ben Joseph.

We lose track and forget the promises that Yhwh made to the Father's, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Note: you hear Muslims say they are worshippers of "the God of Abraham", but not, "the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob"!), to multiply the I descendants like the sand on the seashore, that through them, all the nations of the earth are blessed.

Genesis 12:1 "And Yahweh said to Abram, “ 'Go out from your land and from your relatives, and from the house of your father, to the land that I will show you. And I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and I will make your name great. And you will be a blessing. And I will bless those who bless you, and those who curse you I will curse. And all families of the earth will be blessed in you.' ”

Genesis 15:17  On that day Yahweh made a covenant with Abram saying, “To your offspring I will give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates river, the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”

Gen. 17:3 Then Abram fell upon his face and God spoke with him, saying, “As for me, behold, my covenant shall be with you, and you shall be the father of a multitude of nations. Your name shall no longer be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham, for I will make you the father of a multitude of nations. And I will make you exceedingly fruitful. I will make you a nation, and kings shall go out from you. And I will establish my covenant between me and you, and between your offspring after you, throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant to be as God for you and to your offspring after you. And I will give to you and to your offspring after you the land in which you are living as an alien, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting property. And I will be to them as God.”

So that is it.  All this fighting over the land of Israel, the culmination of a centuries old battle to control this land promised by the Creator to Abraham, and to regathering his dispersed descendents from the ends of the earth, all the tribes of the Israelites, back to Israel!  Ezekiel spells out the Renewed Covenant Yhwh makes after His people had broken the first Mosaic Covenant (all foreseen by Moses, Deut. 30:1-5).

Ezekiel 36:26- 36  "And I will give a new heart to you, and a new spirit I will give into your inner parts, and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh, and I will give to you a heart of flesh. And I will give my spirit into your inner parts, and I will make it so that you will go in my rules, and my regulations you will remember, and you will do them. And you will dwell in the land that I gave to your ancestors, and you will be to me as a people, and I will be to you as God. And I will save you from all of your uncleanness, and I will call to the grain, and I will cause it to increase, and I will not bring famine upon you. And I will cause the fruit of the tree and the crop of the field to increase, so that you will not suffer again the disgrace of famine among the nations. And you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good, and you will loathe yourself over your iniquities and over your detestable things. But not for your sake am I acting,” declares the Lord Yahweh. “Let it be known to you, be ashamed, and be put to shame because of your ways, house of Israel.

“Thus says the Lord Yahweh: ‘On the day when I cleanse you from all of your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the ruins will be rebuilt. And the land that was desolate will be cultivated in the very place that it was desolate before the eyes of all of the persons crossing over. And they will say, “This desolate land has become like the garden of Eden, and the wasted and desolate and destroyed cities, now being refortified, are inhabited.” And the nations who are left all around, you will know that I, Yahweh, I built that which was destroyed; I planted the desolate land; I, Yahweh, I have spoken, and I will act.’

The Prophecy of Avram's Birth

Many of us know of Father Abraham, from whom is descended Ishmael and Isaac, and the line that comes from him, known as the Biblical patriarchs.  But most of us don't know of the early life of Abram, other than his lineage described in Genesis, because Gentile believers were separated from the Hebraic roots of their faith by an baptized pagan emperor, who syncritized the faith with pagan worship, that has entrenched the faithful.  But knowing this prophecy of Abram's Birth puts the modern prophetic circumstances into a greater Biblical context.

And when all the wise men and conjurors went out from the house of Terah, they lifted up their eyes toward heaven that night to look at the stars, and they saw, and behold one very large star came from the east and ran in the heavens, and he swallowed up the four stars from the four sides of the heavens.
3 And all the wise men of the king and his conjurors were astonished at the sight, and the sages understood this matter, land they knew its import.
4 And they said to each other, This only betokens the child that has been born to Terah this night, who will grow up and be fruitful, and multiply, and possess all the earth, he and his children for ever, and he and his seed will slay great kings, and inherit their lands.     (http://sacred-texts.com/chr/apo/jasher/8.htm)

Israel called up thousands of troops on the tail of Tisha B'av.  ISIS is on the move and Israel knows they are surrounded.  This seems to fit the Psalm 83 war, near the end of Shmita.  A seven year treaty will be signed after this, bringing us into the seventeenth seven (Dan. 9:24-27).  After this final seven, the Messiah will return and establish His Millenial reign.  The Bible is true!  Repent of your sin and put your hope in Messiah Yeshua!

Who is like Elohim?

I was reading this passage this morning... a beautiful reminder about who the true Yahweh is!

11 Who is like you among the gods, Yahweh?
Who is like you—glorious in holiness, awesome in praiseworthy actions, doing wonders?f
12 You stretched out your right hand;
the earth swallowed them.
13 In your loyal love you led the people whom you redeemed;
in your strength you guided them to the abode of your holiness.g
14 Peoples heard; they trembled;
anguish seized the inhabitants of Philistia.
15 Then the chiefs of Edom were horrified; great distress seized the leaders of Moab;
all of the inhabitants of Canaan melted away.
16 Terror and dread fell on them;
at the greatness of your arm they became silent like the stone,
until your people passed by, Yahweh,
until the people whom you bought passed by.
17 You brought them and planted them on the mountain of your inheritance,
a place you made for yourself to inhabit, Yahweh,
a sanctuary, Lord, that your hands established.
18 Yahweh will reign as king forever and ever.”

The Gospel (Good News)... in the Last Days

The term the "Gospel," what does it mean?  It is a term that is connoted with so many meanings today, both positive and seemingly negative... but the term literally means "good news."  In our day of Severe Weather on a daily basis, disappearing or hijacked plane flights, disease outbreaks, UFOs, sudden animal die-offs by the thousands, tropical storms and hurricanes, increasingly stronger and more frequent earthquakes... all of us could use some good news!

So what is it?  What is this "Gospel," this good news we are supposed to be hearing?  It starts with the proclamation of what we already know.  We are all broken, fallen in sin and in our relationship to our Maker.  Sin effects every part of the human being, from our thoughts, to our emotions, intentions and actions.  Even our seemingly good and noble deeds are infiltrated and infected by sin (fear, greed, lust, etc.), so that the prophet tells us that "righteous deeds are like filthy rags before the Yhwh" (Is. 64:6).  And not only is this sin effecting every part of our lives and relationships, it effects the world around us.

The Good News is that a man born a descendant of Abraham, Israel, of the tribe of Judah, born in the city of David, was born to us, and lived a life in perfect obedience and fulfillment of the Torah (instruction of Adonai given to Moses on Mt. Sinai in Arabia).  This Jesus, or Yeshua, whose name means "God is salvation," laid down his life on the the Yhwh's feast (Lev. 23) of Pesach (Passover).  He laid down his life as the spotless, blameless Passover lamb of Adonai.  He shed His own blood for our brokenness, for the sin in our lives, that often rules and directs our lives.  He laid down his life on the tree, and shed His own blood so that we could be set free from that sin that wrecks and brings death into our lives, for the wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23).

But that is not all!  Yeshua, who died for our sins to set us free from its control, and set us free to serve and love our Maker, or Father over all, to delight in His ways, is also buying back (redeeming) the entire universe, all that exists.  But that He is going to do it through His chosen people, the Jews, and for the whole house of Isaac (bringing back the dispersed northern 10 tribes).  In fact, the LORD told us this in Daniel 9:24, when He decreed that there were 70 "sevens" or shabuas (seven year periods of time) for the Jewish people to finish transgression, make an end of sin, make atonement for iniquity, and bring in everlasting righteousness, seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy place (i.e. the Temple).

Zechariah tells us that in the last days every nation will be against Israel (Zech. 12:3-4), but that Yhwh Himself, Yhwh Sabaoth, will fight for Israel, and show that He alone is God most High, God of Armies!
We are quickly coming into those days.

God is fighting for Isreal... and His Messiah will return after the Seven Year peace treaty is signed, and Satan, that great deceiver, has his way with this earth.  And so the most important thing today is, do you know Messiah, whose name means salvation?  Or are you going along with the world, pursuing its desires (money, fame, beauty, laptops, technology, human enhancement, etc.).  The world and its desires are coming to nothing, but the one who does the will of God, he shall live forever (1 John 2:14-17)!

Syrian Christians Under Attack - KHouse News

As the world watches for President Obama’s next move to execute a strategic strike on Syria, little media attention has been focused on the plight of the Syrian Christians, until now. Al-Qaida backed rebels have seized control over Maaloula, a small ancient village outside of Damascus. It is one of the three locations in the world where Western Aramaic is still spoken. Scholars believe the Christians living in Maaloula provide them a linguistic bridge to the dialect spoken during the first century. Many of the Christians living in Maaloula are Antiochian Orthodox and Melkite Greek Catholics.
The village barely has 2,000 residents set in the Qalamoun Mountains, making this a strategic position for the Syrian rebels between Damascus and the other prominent city of Homs. Maaloula holds many of Sryia’s oldest monasteries and churches, including Mar Thecla that predates the Council of Nicea in 325 AD.
The attack began last Wednesday when an al-Nusra suicide bomber blew up a military checkpoint in Maaloula. This attack allowed the rebels to enter the village and take control of a mountain-top hotel and used it as their center of operations for the duration of the battle. The al-Nusra rebels posted a You Tube video stating “Soon we will withdraw from this city not out of fear but to leave its homes to their owners. They were not our target. Our target was mainly military,” according to Reuters.
Nearly 1,500 Syrian rebels surrounded the Christian village led by Jabhat al-Nusra, an al-Qaida-affiliated group, and the Qalamon Liberation Front. The latter group has been described as “Moderate Rebels” by Secretary of State John Kerry. A Maaoula resident reported rebels shouting “Allahu Akbar” attacked Christian homes and churches shortly after moving into the village on September 8th. Gunshots were fired and other eye witnesses reported three bodies lying in the middle of the street in the old quarters of the village. Many Christians have fled the village for safety. Another Maaoula resident reported Syrian rebels were forcing some Christians to convert to Islam. “I saw the militants grabbing five villagers and threatening them: ‘Either you convert to Islam or you will be beheaded,” the resident said. The Syrian Army began coordinating attacks against the Syrian rebels on Monday. The Syrian rebels released a video stating they have achieved their objective of taking an army post and will pull out of the village.
Other reports confirmed that two nuns were videotaped to assure that they were well-treated by the rebels. “They [rebels] behaved well with us and they did not harm us,” said one of the nuns at the rebels’ prompting.
Christians living near the Turkish-Syrian border were reportedly murdered earlier in August by radical German Islamists. Experts have reported an increase of German Islamists entering Syria in the past six months. Reports came from two western intelligence agencies that the number of German Muslims migrating to Syria has increased from 60 to 150 militants. The Sunni Salafist movement in Germany has prompted the Federal Republic’s interior minister Hans-Peter Friedrich to issue a warning last April against German Muslims leaving for Syria to persue jihad. German prosecutors are examining whether German Muslims can be charged with participation in a terrorist organization. A former German rapper, Denis Cuspert (a.k.a. Deso Dogg), is believed to be fighting with the al-Qaida linked al-Nusra front. The German government considers Cuspert as the lead recruiter of German Muslims. He released a video prior to his departure urging Muslims to join the jihad in Syria.
Gregorios III, the patriarch of the church of Antioch, reported that 450,000 of Syria’s two million Christians have been displaced since the start of the civil war. Over 1.2 million Syrians have since fled to Lebanon. Sunni Muslim extremists have many Syrian Christians worried that they will become the primary target since they are considered the weakest link that the rebels go after. Senator Rand Paul told NBC’s “Meet the Press” that Assad has protected Christians for decades against Sunni Muslim attacks.
According to the CIA World Factbook, 74 percent in Syria are Sunni Muslim. Assad is an Alawite, an offshoot of Shiite Islam. The Shiite and the Druze make up 16 percent of the Syrian population. Syrian Christians have every right to be worried if the current authoritative secular regime is overthrown and taken over by radical Islamists. Dozens of churches and Christian buildings were attacked by Islamic extremists in Egypt last month. Coptic Christians were the primary group targeted for revenge for supporting former president Hosni Mubarek.
Abu Zakham, a Christian bishop, was displaced from his home in the city of Homs last year along with 85,000 other Christians by extremist rebels. He claims that there is a plan to displace Christians, but does not understand why. Whether Syrian Christians will experience further persecution from rebel forces will hinge upon President Obama’s stance to follow through with a strategic attack against Assad’s regime.
The latest news released hours ago reported the Syrian government has accepted Russia’s proposal to turn over all of their chemical weapons under international control. Final plans are underway with the U.N Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. Only time will tell if Syria will follow through on their promise. Meanwhile Syrian Christians remaining in Syria are hopeful that they will be able to lead as normal a life as possible until a strike occurs from either side.

Is The Rapture Now or Seven Years Later?

originally posted as: Is The Rapture Of the Jews?

*I wanted to repost this particular article because for the Pre-Trib believer, it's really coming to the drawing line for the rapture.  I certainly pray that this is the correct end-time scenario, but if Rev. 20:4-6 is the timing of the "catching away" Paul describes in 1 Thess. 4:16, this article will help believers put things into perspective. - -

I don't know about you, but when it comes to the timing of the Rapture, through the years I've gone through the gamut of different positions of scriptural teaching.  The real problem is that I couldn't reconcile all of the scriptures.

Over the past several years I moved between Pre-Trib and Mid-Trib (or Pre-Wrath) views.  But through this time, the LORD has been gradually moving me to understand more about the Jewishness of Christianity.  The Apostle Paul  taught in his epic work, Romans, that the Gentile believers are like a wild olive branch, literally grafted into the cultivated tree of Israel (Rom. 11:17-21).

Most who hold to the Pre-Tribulational view of the Rapture see it as a rescue from heaven of essentially the Gentile church, while the Jews go through all the trials of the tribulation and its Psuedo-Christ.  In many ways, the Gentile Church did hijack Christianity!  But when we start looking at it through the lens of the Jewish author, and making it about the covenant promises Yahweh made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, one starts to understand the passages a little more consistently (at least, I feel like that has been my experience).

Most Pre-Trib believers take 1 Thess. 4:16-17 as the basis for their view, and hold that chapter 5 is speaking of a later event, namely Armageddon.  But the one scripture that sounded Post-Tribulational to me, which I could not reconcile within my Pre-Tribulational grid-work, was the passage in Revelation 20:4-5.  It speaks of the aftermath of Christ returning at the end of the 'Seventieth Seven,' the Tribulational period, where Messiah Yeshua defeats the Pseudo-Christ who has taken over the nations of the world.  At this point many believers who were executed/persecuted during the tribulation tiime, are raised to life, and reign with Christ for the 1,000 year reign.  Scripture says that this is the first resurrection.

The sequential timing spelled out in this passage is pretty obvious.  And if we realize that God's fulfillment of his promises of giving the land to the descendants of Israel, did not cease at any point to be about Israel, and pass to the Gentiles, but God is the same yesterday, today and forever.  He is even today dealing with the nations according to the promise to "curse those who curse [Israel] and bless those who bless [Israel] (Gen. 12:3)."

The "Old Covenant" did not die or cease the way that most Gentile believers think that it ended.  The fact that the Jews are reestablishing their Temple, and will resume it, and that the entire world will celebrate the Feast of Booths under the reign of the Messiah (Zech. 14:16)  It was our justification by faith by grace that was fulfilled in Christ.  Yeshua said, "Do not think I came to abolish the law or the prophets.  I did not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them"  (Mt. 5:18).

So when Gentile believers re-awake to the fact that the faith is first and primarily a Jewish faith, we understand that the LORD is not promising to make a special rescue of a privileged group.  God is fulfilling His promises to Abraham.  We are told, the gospel is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes, FIRST THE JEW, then the Gentile (Rom. 1:16).  Yeshua told us "Salvation is of the Jews" (John 4:22).

One of the key scriptural passages that helped me to bring the scriptures together, is Romans 11:15.  Paul teaches us, "If their rejection [of Messiah] is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be, but life from the dead."  For me, this verse was key in reconciling together 1 Thess. 4:16 and Rev. 20.  1 Thess. 4:16 speaks of the dead in Christ rising first, and then the remaining believers being caught up together with them, and Revelation 20 speaks of the first resurrection taking place at the end of the Tribulation.  These are one and the same!  Zechariah 12:10speaks of Christ returning to save Israel and destroy the nations of the world coming against her.  The LORD, Yahweh, says, "Then they will look on Me, whom they have pierced!"

The Jews will recognize that they crucified their LORD and God, and with the spirit of supplication and grace He pours out on them, the receive Him as their Messiah (Zech. 12:10).  And the result will be life from the dead!

Antichrist Rises?

I know I've posted on this some on my Facebook account, but it doesn't seem I've had time to blog a post about it on here.  In the book of Micah, famous for it's prophecy in Micah 5:2, of a Messiah to be born in Bethlehem, it continues on to tell of an adversary, a "satan" if you will, to rise against Israel.

Micah 5:2-6 2 "1But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. 2His goings forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity." 3 Therefore He will give them up until the time When she who is in labor has borne a child. Then the remainder of His brethren Will return to the sons of Israel. 4 And He will arise and shepherd His flock In the strength of the LORD, In the majesty of the name of the LORD His God. And they will remain, Because 2at that time He will be great To the ends of the earth. 5 This One will be our peace. When the Assyrian invades our land, When he tramples on our citadels, Then we will raise against him Seven shepherds and eight leaders of men. 6 They will shepherd the land of Assyria with the sword, The land of Nimrod at its entrances; And He will deliver us from the Assyrian When he attacks our land And when he tramples our territory. (underline mine)

We also know that the Jewish prophet exiled to Babylon (i.e. Persia, Iraq), Daniel, tells us in his vision about the last controlling one-world empire, that the ruler will confirm a seven year peace treaty with the many.

Daniel 9:27 - 10:1 27 "And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate."

So the antichrist will emerge in the name of peace.  He will come bringing peace to the Middle East, something that many U.S. presidents have been unable to do (for America has a different purpose in the divine plan?).

Micah tells us that asshur will arise against Israel, and that Israel will be delievered by that One born in Bethlehem.  Asshur is translated in our Bibles as the Assyrian.  This empire still exists, the capital of which, Damascus, also occupies a major prophecy seemingly about to be fulfilled as well (Is. 17:1, 14).  Today it is considerably smaller, but retains essentially the same name, that's right, Syria!

It seems that there is a Syrian man rising up in the name of peace, the media will point out that he is a former preacher.  But in post-Christian America, what you may not be as quick to catch is that he is a Muslim preacher.  That's right.  And Islam's holy book says that a one-world order, that is, a global Caliphate under sharia law, comes about through the annihilation of the Jewish nation.  Many of their preachers also declare "... and the great Satan," meaning the U.S. of A.

I found an interesting, informative article about this Syrian, Moaz al-Khatib in the Financial Times.

Moaz al-Khatib, the Damascene preacher elevated to lead Syria’s rebel coalition last November, is the most astute tactician the opposition has fielded so far.
...
he is a mainstream Muslim preacher from a family that have long been the custodians of the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, one of the holiest places of Islam, and he is widely respected across Syria’s mosaic of different religious communities. It is worth careful parsing.

Though I may find different as I study and learn more, it seems that he is more of a "moderate" Muslim, advocating, at least publically, for an inclusive, ecumenical environment for all religous persuations in Syria; Shiite, Sunni, Druze, Christian.

Will the Pope come alongside this man in the name of peace and ecumenical pluralism?  The newly elected Pope is on track up to the present, reaching out to "nonbelievers" and Muslims, not trying to explain as the Christ Himself did, that Y'shua is the only path to heaven, and all the other paths lead to destruction (Mt. 7:13,14).

If my assumptions are correct, these two will eventually come together, with the Pope supporting this man, and turning many so-called Christians to a new Chrislam, complete with the disclosure of Aliens and "ascended humans".

Wars and Rumors of Wars...

“What will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age…  You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars… “ (Matt. 24:3, 6)

It seems that lately there has been a lot of saber rattling, but something is different.  This saber rattling has taken a shift in direction of late, towards the U.S.  Not to say that threats weren’t made against the U.S. previously, but they’ve now taken on a more threatening tone towards not just American embassies and bases overseas, but not it is aimed more directly towards the North American continent.

And for many years pastors and Christians have looked to find America  in Bible prophecy, but most do not seem to find her there, or with only a vague reference.

Revelation 12:14  14 But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

This reference indicates that the woman (Israel) who bore the child who is to rule the nations with a rod of iron (Jesus or Yehoshua), is helped in the middle of the 7 year peace treaty, where the coming one-world leader turns against her.   Some see in the passage to her being given the “wings of an eagle” to escape to the place in the wilderness, a reference to America assisting Israel.

I can only pray that it is, and that America will be here and have enough power to assist her in that soon coming day.  One promise God made that holds true for all the nations, is the promise to Abraham in Genesis 12:3:

Genesis 12:3   3 And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed."

There has been an excellent production on the outworkings of this promise God has made and still keeps, to Abraham, to give his descendents the ancient land of Canaan, who, upon careful study of the Torah, will see that it was a land inhabited by Nephilim, which existed before Noah’s flood, and created the conditions to make the global flood necessary to save humanity, and for Yahweh to bring a redeemer who could restore creation from its fallen estate.

This production is available on Youtube, and is called Israel Omen.  In it, they examine how some of the greatest natural disasters of recent past decades have occurred precisely when governments have taken steps or passed legislation against Israel, to give her land to the Muslims of the Middle East.

And I could go on and on about this.  But I’m not going to this morning, as I need to get up and get ready for worship in the ekklesia.  May you be blessed of Yahweh, if you are worshipping Him today.  There is soon coming a day, probably in about seven or so years, when Israel will look upon he who she has crucified, and He will pour out a spirit of supplication and grace, and all Israel’s sins will be wiped away, and she (the remnant of Israel) will be saved (Zech. 12:10, 13:1).

Global showdowns looming over us - The Nation

Global showdowns looming over us - The Nation

Prophetic events and pieces of the prophecies seem to be burgeoning together.  At this point, things seem to be coming together for many groups, for New Agers (light workers on the rise, a new consciousness seems to be spreading), for Muslims, sharia gaining a foothold, Islamic nations close to working together to achieve the annihilation of Israel and the Jews along with a global Caliphate, rightly guided by Imam Madhi after a time of global chaos and devastation, Hindus seeking the Maitreya, whom Creme says is near.  But of all these religous groups, with their seeming destinies dovetailing, the people overlook one thing.  The dovetailing and coalescing of all these together into one harmonious group was predicted in the Bible thousands of years ago.  And along with other scriptural prophesies, most notable the reformation of the Jewish nation of Israel after thousands of years of diaspora throughout the world, today we see the Jerusalem is a stumbling stone to the surrounding nations, and indeed, to the ends of the earth.  This too was prophesied!

Zechariah 12:1-2 The burden of the word of the LORD concerning Israel. Thus declares the LORD who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him, 2 "Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. (By the way, when the media speaks of Judah and Samaria, it uses the term 'West Bank').
