Common Plants cure Gout

9 Out of the ground the LORD God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food;

Gen 2:9 (NASB95)

I know that this seems out of place in a blog like this, but my wife and I over the past year have been discovering the wonders of the plants around us that the LORD has given us, and the many uses they have that we previously thought couldn't be helped without the use of band-aids or medical visits.  We have been so industrialized, and forgotten the wonder of created nature, with so many herbal remedies and food supplies.

My mother in law has problems with gout, and as my wife is reading through one of her gardening books, she discovers that Cucumber juice is good for dissolving Uric acid which causes gout!  And the next entry, Currants, the leaves taken from the Currant plant, and made into tea is also good for dissolving the Uric acid as well as having carminative effects.

Another good thing about Currants is that they never get old... they're always currant!  haha...
