The Demon Had My Back!

It seems that we don't hear enough stories of spiritual warfare from the pulpit today in America.  Most Christians are slumbering in "secular" America.  They have been lulled to sleep by the principalities and spiritual forces of darkness in the heavenly places.  But demonic activity is all too real around us, more prolific than we often know.

Scriptures tell us that "the entire kosmos (world) is in the sway of the evil one" (1 Jn. 5:19).   To grasp a reality of that, check out goodfight.  He has an excellent ministry telling us, often in the artists' own words, just how the spriits use them/empower them to bring about the Old World Order (aka, Antediluvian or Pre-Flood Age).

Truth is, anyone involved in the occult, or actively and willfully engaged in sinful behavior, opposed to the ways of Elohim, has given the enemy of our soul legal right for "possession" (demonization or oppression), whereby they gain control over certain aspects of the human psyche and body to use for their means and purposes.  The unclean spirits can suggest thought, manipulate human emotions, etc. to incite their evil purposes.  Or sometimes, they can just come along for the ride.

To my knowledge, at my work, I am the only ardent follower of the Messiah.  One morning this past fall, I was at work, and me and a colleague were driving some equipment to a graveside to set up for a funeral procession.  The relationship with this colleague has been rough.  He knows the I follow the Bible, and while he grew up in cultural Christianity, and "said a prayer," he is living in an illicit unrepentant relationship.  This makes him open territory for the demons.

So this morning as were riding to the graveside, I can feel this huge presence of hate on him.  I mean HUGE!  I felt like a dwarf sitting next to a 9-10 giant presence!  I'm sitting there, trying to assess the situation, wondering if it is a spirit, or if he's just that angry at me.  The sun is not yet up, as we had just started the day.

I know the authority I have in Christ, but as I am sitting right next to the guy, I can't say anything (or maybe I could but wasn't daring enough). So we arrive at the grave, and I get out of the vehicle, and my back goes out.  I don't feel the demonic hate anymore, but my back is out!  All I did was stand up, so there is no way I should have hurt my back.  Now I am in excruciating pain, and it hurts to bend and lift the equipment to set up the tent.  I tell my colleague of my back pain, and he doesn't realize how bad it is hurting.

At this point I'm wondering if I will have to go home, if I'll have to quit my work (as it involves almost constant back work), and lose my job.  In severe pain, I work to get the tent set up.  It's all I can do.  By this point, I conclude that this demonic hate-ful spirit attacked me.

This continued on for an hour or so... a little later, we joined some other men who had been sawing down a tree from another section of the cemetary.  What were small logs and limbs were all I could do to pick up.  To save face and not seem like a wimp, I told the other guys of the inexplicable pain I was in.  One, a former fire chief, concluded it was simply getting old, and recommended some wraps I could get from the local store.

 I loaded the logs onto a vehicle, and drove them to the back area to unload, and as I was back there alone, I began to pray, and using my authority in Messiah Yeshua, I commanded the demon off me, to leave my body, and I commanded healing over my back.  The pain left.  I could now move and walk freely, and do my work with lifting and hammering etc.  But there was still this bit of unease at the base of my spine, like it could go out at anytime, if I weren't careful.

This unease at the base of my spine remained with me the rest of the day, and through the night.  The next morning at work, this unease was still there, and I had prayed over it, claimed healing in the name of Messiah, all to no avail.  The uneaese never left.  Then I remembered reading about the founder of LESEA broadcasting, a book he had written, entitled, The Demon Answer Book.  It recounted stories of encounters he had had with demon possession and exorcisms in his ministry in central America.

One lady in prison he'd ministered to, who would go into fits of hysteria as these two ugly fiendish monster demons would attack her, and leave bite marks on her skin, with saliva.  These creatures were unseen to the normal eye, but she could see them, and they'd randomly attack her leaving those evidences of the attack, baffling police and doctors.

I recounted this story, and of her deliverance, but how these spirits were able to physically afflict her body.  The thought occurred to me, that if that demon attacked me, attacking my spine, it may have left some residual damage.  Elohim, having created through words, does not waste words, but is very specific, so I began to pray for a creative miracle, for Yhwh to heal and restore the base of my spine.  As I prayed this, and massaged the base of my spine, the unease or pain disappeared.

I am happy to report that it has not bothered me again to this day.  My back nor the demon!

Movies show Catholic priests coming in with crosses and holy water, saying chants, all to cast out demons.  That's all movie drama and deception!  The real believer has power over the enemy by virtue of their relationship with the Messiah, and Father.  As sons of Elohim Adonai, we have authority over the enemy!

"Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness."  Mt. 10:1

Ever notice how the further we depart from the Bible, from Judeo-Christian principle, the more sicknesses and disease there are?  That's another post...

Storing Up Wealth For the Last Days?

Ok, here it is.  Some of you were probably wondering if I were going to tackle this topic.  How should we store up wealth in the end-times?    Many bloggers and Christian shows have dealt with the topic, advising people to buy gold and silver to prepare for the coming economic collapse.  For most people, gold is out of teh question, as the economic price is just too high, even per ounce!  For us, even silver is quite high.  Just a little bit is all we could afford.

So, when you are part of that 98% of the world's population who makes less then the upper one percent, is that really a wise investment of your resources, to put it all into one little piece of metal?

The other day I was reading in James (or Jacob, really, in the Greek/Hebrew), the half-brother of Yeshua, and came to a section where he speaks about the topic, storing up wealth in the last days:

5 Come now, you rich people, weep and cry aloud over the miseries that are coming upon you! Your wealth has rotted, and your clothing has become moth-eaten. Your gold and silver have become corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you, and it will consume your flesh like fire. You have stored up treasure in the last days. Behold, the wages that were held back by you from the workers who reap your fields cry out, and the cries of the reapers have come to the ears of the Lord of hosts. You have lived self-indulgently on the eartha and have lived luxuriously. You have fattened your hearts in the day of slaughter. You have condemned, you have murdered the righteous person; he does not resist you.
(www.biblia.com)

James seems to think that those who store up wealth for the last day aren't going to receive a whole lot of good from it. In fact, he says it will be a witness AGAINST you and consume your flesh like fire! I thought that is what we were trying to avoid, being consumed by fire! In context, we see from verse four, that James is speaking to those who have people in their employment, who are withholding wages, and living luxuriously on earth, at the expense of those who do their labor.

Verse Six tells us, "You have condemned the righteous person, he does not resist you." Nowhere in holy scripture does it teach taking vengeance on one's enemies, contrary to the belief of Islam. In fact, Yeshua tells us to "love our enemies," and "pray for those who persecute us" (Mt. 5:43).

Now there may be some wisdom in securing your financial assets in precaution to a financial collapse, but I don't know that selling all to buy gold and silver is the answer. The believer's life is one that is marked by faith in Yeshua Messiah. All Yahweh's prophecies concerning the end have been being fulfilled for thousands of years. It's silly to think that they will stop now. We have the full assurance that we are able to walk in the faith and confidence in the YHWH's power, for He is a shield about us (Ps. 3:3), an ever present help in trouble (Ps. 46). YHWH is our Good Shepherd, even in the last days, when the adversaries forces are running about upon the earth, Yhwh still leads us to green pastures, to lie beside still waters, and to restore our soul. He is over all, and He can prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies (Ps. 23).

Hab. 2:4b "but the righteous shall live by his faith."

Hab. 3:
16 I hear and my stomach shakes;
my lips quiver at the sound;
infection enters my bones;
that which is beneath me trembles;
I wait quietly for the day of trouble
to come upon the people attacking us.
17 Though the fig tree does not blossom,
nor there be fruit on the vines;
the yield of the olive tree fails,
and the cultivated fields do not yield food;
the flock is cut off from the animal pen,
and there is no cattle in the stalls,
18 Yet I will rejoice in Yahweh;
I will exult in the God of my salvation.
19 Yahweh, my Lord, is my strength;
he makes my feet like the deer;
he causes me to walk on my high places.

Who is like Elohim?

I was reading this passage this morning... a beautiful reminder about who the true Yahweh is!

11 Who is like you among the gods, Yahweh?
Who is like you—glorious in holiness, awesome in praiseworthy actions, doing wonders?f
12 You stretched out your right hand;
the earth swallowed them.
13 In your loyal love you led the people whom you redeemed;
in your strength you guided them to the abode of your holiness.g
14 Peoples heard; they trembled;
anguish seized the inhabitants of Philistia.
15 Then the chiefs of Edom were horrified; great distress seized the leaders of Moab;
all of the inhabitants of Canaan melted away.
16 Terror and dread fell on them;
at the greatness of your arm they became silent like the stone,
until your people passed by, Yahweh,
until the people whom you bought passed by.
17 You brought them and planted them on the mountain of your inheritance,
a place you made for yourself to inhabit, Yahweh,
a sanctuary, Lord, that your hands established.
18 Yahweh will reign as king forever and ever.”

  • Major Prophetic Announcement! - Holy Altar Constructed For Third Jewish Temple

End-times prophecy watchers are marveling over a news report out of Jerusalem this week that the Altar of the Lord has been reconstructed by the Temple Institute.

The Institute, based in the Old City of Jerusalem, announced it has finished building an altar that is essentially “ready for use” in sacrificial services.

The altar is the most ambitious project to date toward the goal of rebuilding the Jewish Temple. The massive outdoor altar, which took several years to build, can be operational at little more than a moment’s notice, reported the Israeli magazine Matzav Haruach.

The altar is the last major component needed for the long-obstructed sacrifices to resume in a future Jewish temple.

Ultra-Orthodox Jews pray daily for its reconstruction atop the holy hill known as Mount Moriah or the Temple Mount.

Bible scholars say the rebuilding of the ancient temple is predicted throughout scripture, starting with Daniel’s vision in Daniel 9:27. Jesus echoed Daniel’s warning about an abomination standing in “the holy place” in the last days in Matthew 24:15, followed by the Apostle John’s vision of the Temple in Revelation 11:1-2. Paul mentioned it in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4.

Most people don’t realize the temple had two altars — the altar of burnt offering and the altar of incense. The largest was the altar of burnt offering, placed in the outer court of the priests. Designing and building it to exact biblical specifications required quite an undertaking.

It was approximately 5 meters (16 feet) tall and 16 meters (52.5 feet) wide, with four “horns” or raised corners, and a ramp.

The altar is the central focus of the sacrificial services that were halted with the destruction of the Second Temple by the Romans in 70 A.D.

The Temple Institute has prepared all the priestly garments and sacred vessels for the rebuilt temple, which can be viewed on its website. It even trains members of the priestly family to be ready to serve as soon as the Temple is constructed.

Carl Gallups, a Baptist pastor in Florida, Bible prophecy expert and author of “Final Warning: Understanding the Trumpet Days of Revelation,” told WND the announcement about the altar will be seen by many Christians as a huge step toward fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

“This announcement will surely excite prophecy watchers around the world,” he said. “Regardless of one’s eschatological leanings, every sincere student of the Word of God knows there are at least hints, if not clear declarations, of something happening just before the return of the Lord that involves altar sacrifices and the distinct possibility of a rebuilt temple on the Temple Mount.”

Jonathan Cahn, author of “The Harbinger” and “The Mystery of the Shemitah” also sees the announcement as significant.

“We know that end-time prophecy cannot be fulfilled without the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem,” Cahn, a Messianic Jewish rabbi in New Jersey, told WND. “The abomination desolation prophesied in Daniel and in the Gospels, must take place within the Temple precincts. So, too, the apostle Paul speaks of the ‘man of sin,’ or the Antichrist, sitting in the Temple of God. What many people don’t realize is that along with the Holy of Holies, the altar of the Temple is the most central and critical part of the Temple.”

Cahn said it is the altar that is the center of the abomination causing desolation.

“It was specifically the altar of the Temple that was desecrated by Antiochus Epiphanes in the days of the Maccabees that comprised the first abomination desolation and the foreshadowing of what will take place in the end-times,” he said. “So any progress made toward the rebuilding of the altar is worthy of our attention.”

Mark Biltz, author of “Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs” and pastor of El Shaddai Ministries, says prophecy watchers should not forget, however, that the Temple Mount is under the control of the Muslims for a reason.

“Religiously, you have the Temple Institute and they are ready to rebuilt it,” he said.

In previous years, there have been attempts to sacrifice a goat on the Temple Mount at Passover, something that enrages Muslims who consider the hilltop the third most sacred spot in Islam.

“They could actually do sacrifices without a temple, some sacrifices. And Passover is one of them. There’s always been a drive to sacrifice a lamb on the Temple Mount,” Biltz said. “They would do it in a heartbeat. But it’s just like here in America where the ACLU wants nothing to do with religion or religious groups. So it’s the same there. The Israeli government doesn’t want to cause any uproar among the various religious factions, especially with elections coming up.”

The Temple Institute represents the views of the Ultra-Orthodox community, which makes up a small percentage of Israel’s population, about 4 percent.

“They would love a temple but the broader population wants to keep church and state separate, and there is a lot of animosity toward the Ultra Orthodox,” Biltz said. “But they don’t need some big elaborate temple, they could start to do the sacrifices with a tent or some sort of makeshift tabernacle. It’s all very interesting and it’s all coming to a head. I believe you’re going to see a major war first, which would redraw alignments and allegiances.”

This explains the reaction of former Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Dayan as he observed rabbis rushing to pray at the Temple Mount following the Israeli Army’s reclaiming of the landmark in the 1967 Six-Day War.

“What is this?” Dayan, a secular Jew, reportedly mused. “The Vatican?”

“One of the first things he did was give it back to the Muslims,” Biltz said. “They didn’t want the religious right telling the government what to do. They would rather have the Muslims have it. So there is a bigger fight among the Jews, an even bigger fight over whether to build a temple, than the fight with the Muslims. There are two huge fights going on. ”

There is an interesting foreshadowing of this end-time rebuilding event in the book of Ezra, who gave an account of the Jewish exiles returning from captivity in Persia.

“In rebuilding the temple destroyed under the Babylonian occupation, the first act of those returnees was to rebuild an altar and offer sacrifices upon it to the Lord,” Gallups said.

They did this at the site of the ruined temple. The altar was constructed under the leadership of a high priest named, of all things, Yehoshua (Joshua, or Jesus in the New Testament Greek).

The returning Jews, according to Ezra, rebuilt this holy altar despite fears of attack from surrounding enemies. After the altar was rebuilt, and regular sacrifices reinstated, the returnees celebrated their first festival — the Feast of Tabernacles.

That feast occurs in autumn. This year it will occur during the season of the rare tetrad of four blood moons and the seven-year Shemitah cycle described in Cahn’s book.

Ezra, chapter three, says that after the altar was rebuilt and sacrifices resumed, and when the temple had been rebuilt – the people shouted with joy, praised the Lord and wept aloud. “And the sound (of the celebration) was heard far away.”

“Now, in 2015, we have the news that once again the altar of sacrifice has been rebuilt and is ready for use,” Gallups said. “We also know of a very serious plan to rebuild the ancient temple of God upon the Temple Mount. The days of Ezra and Yehoshua appear to be upon us again. In the midst of the celebration of these facts, the sound of that celebration is once again ‘being heard far away.’ And through the modern technology of the Internet the sound is being heard around the world. These are certainly prophetic times in which we are living.”

Biltz sees the timing of the altar announcement as prophetic.

“Tomorrow, (Saturday) every Jew in synagogues around the world is reading the Torah portion from Exodus about the construction of the tabernacle,” he said. “It’s the last chapter of Exodus about the glory falling, Moses coming out and blessing the people and the glory falling on the tabernacle.

“Not only that but this next week, historically, is the very day the dedication of the tabernacle happened, on Nisan 1, that is read in the Torah portion. This year, being Saturday, March 21. It actually begins at sundown on Friday, March 20.”

As an expert in the Hebrew roots of the Christian faith, Biltz is always looking at current events in light of the times and the seasons according to the Hebrew calendar. And there is something else special this year about Nisan 1, which arrives at sundown March 20.

“Amazingly, there is also a total solar eclipse occurring at the beginning of the religious calendar on March 20. A total solar eclipse speaks of judgment coming on the nations. This is followed two weeks later by a total lunar eclipse or blood moon on Passover.”

So the fact that a remnant of Jews has prepared an altar and the sacred vessels for temple services, even if the politics are still such that constructing the temple is currently impossible, is exciting, Biltz said.

Most of the sacred vessels needed for the temple sacrificial system have been recreated by Israeli artisans – the cups, the chalices, the incense altar and incense shovel, the table of showbread, the high-priest’s crown, the golden menorah, the three-pronged fork and so on. All of these items are being planned now by the Temple Institute, even though the political obstacles to rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem remain huge.

“They even have the high priest’s crown. They have everything ready to go,” Biltz said. “They’ve even had the Levites come in and be fitted for the priestly garments, everything is ready.”

The purpose of the Temple was to make atonement for Israel and atonement for the nations of the world before the Creator, whom all mankind should desire to draw near, Biltz said.

“If the nations had only understood this back then, they would have never destroyed the temple but placed their armies around it to protect it,” he said. “If the nations understood that today, they would realize rather than dividing Jerusalem it should be united with a Temple to Hashem bringing His presence back into our world. This is the only true path to world peace.”

PM Netanyahu We Are a Family!

Does Netanyahu understand something most Americans don't?  Does he understand that many Americans are descendants of the Northern Israelite tribes that were dispersed around 722-721 B.C.E., which later immigrated up into the Steppe-lands of Russia, and into Europe through the Caucausus mountain range as the Cimmerians, and the Scythians (respectively)?  We are family!  We are brothers!  :-D

Greek Pyramids

This was a great little page I received in my email, which tells some interesting facts about the pyramids found in Greece.

GREEK PYRAMIDS

in
John 7:38
"He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."
When one hears the term "pyramid builders," one usually thinks of the Egyptians, Incas or the Aztecs, whose famous pyramids were built for religious purposes. You may not know that the Greeks also built pyramids. But as we might expect of the Greeks, their pyramids served a practical, everyday purpose.
The best-known Greek pyramid is the Pyramid of HellinikonThirteen Greek pyramids have been identified; all are about 2,500 years old. The forty-foot-high pyramids are located in the hills around the cities of Theodosia and the Crimea. They are constructed of loose limestone rock, through which the arid wind of the region could blow. As the cooling evening wind blew through the loose arrangement of rock, moisture in the air would condense on the rocks. The condensation would flow to the base of the pyramid where it was collected and piped to the city for use. A study of the clay pipes running from the pyramids led one archaeologist to calculate that each pyramid could produce a surprising 14,000 gallons of water per day!
These ingenious and practical pyramids reflect the truth that man has always been intelligent. Perhaps you didn't even know that water could be condensed from the atmosphere in usable amounts in this way. But the pyramids meant temporary survival in the dry climate. Permanent survival comes only from the living water that Christ gives through the forgiveness of sins. His water gives eternal life.
Prayer:
Lord, help me share the living water You have given me with others. Amen.

The King of Israel Goes to Washington on Purim - Israel Today | Israel News

Beautiful allegory to the Biblical tale of Queen Esther coming before the king to save the Jews, which resulted in the Biblical feast of Purim (Esther 9:26-27).  Is it coincidental Netanyahu is addressing Congress on Purim?
