The Way of The Master - Keeping Torah

Many of us are familiar with the young man who approached Yeshua, and asked the question, "Good Master, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"

But so often, we fail to recognize this story for what it is... evangelism by the Master.  Here we have a true seeker, "... what must I do to inherit eternal life?"

And the response is amazing!

Mark 10:17-22 17 As He was setting out on a journey, a man ran up to Him and knelt before Him, and asked Him, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" 18 And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. 19 "You know the commandments, 'DO NOT MURDER, DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, DO NOT STEAL, DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS, Do not defraud, HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER.'" 20 And he said to Him, "Teacher, I have kept all these things from my youth up." 21 Looking at him, Jesus felt a love for him and said to him, "One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." 22 But at these words he was saddened, and he went away grieving, for he was one who owned much property.

And so here we see, by the Bible's own admission, the "Way of the Master."  It is a little different from Ray Comfort's method of evangelism.  Yeshua points him to the one standard that all men are held to, that of Yahweh's Torah, "you know the commandments..."

And so we see Yeshua's answer to the man's question, keep the commandments.  How can we have missed such an important question so quickly resolved here in the Gospels?  Because of our separation from the God-ordained carriers of the faith, the Torah.  Clearly, this is what Yeshua tells us that we must do to gain eternal life.

The young man replied, "all these things I have done..."  Does this mean he was without sin?  No, it means that, according to Yhwh's commands, when he had sinned, he made sacrifice at the temple.  But he had a bigger problem.  Being a man of wealth, he had much possessions, and they were an idol for him.  And Yeshua knew that too.  So when he told him to go and sell his possessions, and give to the poor (another aspect of the Way of the Master ~ the fruits of Torah and Spirit-filled living in the life of believers), the young man was dismayed and chose not to follow the rabbi's advice.

And so here we see that the young man did not love his neighbor as himself.  As so as Yeshua's criticism of the scribes and teachers of the Law, tithing their mint, dill and cumin, but neglecting the weightier matters of Torah, so too did this young man, miss the spirit of the Torah's teaching.

Again we see Yeshua the Messiah stressing that it is not necessarily about our physical, visible rituals we carry out (though that is a part), it is about our heart's identification with the Father's heart.  How is your heart?  Do you carry out the Father's will/desire in your life?  Many protestants question that and do not know how they can clearly identify that in their lives.  But the apostle John helps us with this, and spells it out clearly, "All who commit sin practice lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness," that is, torah-lessness (1 Jn. 3:4).

Matthew 7:19-23 9 "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 "So then, you will know them by their fruits. 21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'

Letter From A Rabbi:The Goal (End) of the Faith

"Applying a consistent hermeneutic, we see more clearly!"  -Chris Parker

In running a race, when do runners reach the goal?  At the end, finale, or completion of the course!  In a similar way, you might say, the goal of the Biblical faith is realized at the end.  Listen to what Rabbi Shaul said to his son in the faith:

“But the goal of our instruction (torah) is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a faith without hypocrisy, from which some have deviated, and have turned away into fruitless discussion, wanting to be teachers of the torah, although they* do not understand either the things which they are saying or the things concerning which they are speaking confidently.
But we know that the torah is good, if anyone makes use of it torah-fully, knowing this, that the torah is not given for a righteous person but for the torah-less and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and totally worldly, for the one who kills his father and the one who kills his mother, for murderers, sexually immoral people, homosexuals, kidnappers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is opposed to sound teaching (ie, Torah),”

Changing standards of Rughteosness? Amos 2:4-5

Christian doctrine claims affirms the OT teaching that God does not change, but is the same yesterday, today and forever, where Yhwh says, "I do not change" (Mal. 3:6).  Yet the belief is maintained by nearly all Protestants that they are "set free from the Law (instruction)".  Yet when we read the Prophets, we see that Yhwh's great wrath is aroused for the rejection of the Torah.

"Thus says Yahweh: “For three transgressions of Judah and for four I will not revoke the punishment, because they have rejected the law of Yahweh and have not kept his rules, and their lies have led them astray, after which their ancestors walked! So I will send a fire against Judah and it will devour the citadel fortresses of Jerusalem." Amos 2:4-5

So the question is raised, does Yhwh change?  Will he punish Israel for rejecting His Torah while giving unrighteous pagan Gentiles a free pass, and then continue to judge Israel by the standard of Torah?

Elohim's very word states that He does not change.  Yeshua, the word of God made flesh, is testified by that author of Hebrews, that he is the same, "yesterday, today and forever" (13:8).

How to Atone For Iniquity (Pr. 16:6)

Do you ever come across a verse, and you're not sure how it works?  I've had plenty of those, and this verse is one of them:

6 By lovingkindness and truth iniquity is atoned for,
And by the fear of the Lord one keeps away from evil.
Proverbs 16 (logos.com)

When I read this, it almost seemed like it taught a works-salvation.  It left me confused!  I knew that man could not save himself.  Certainly, I couldn't!  All people have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:22).  There is no man on earth who continually does what is right and never sins (Ecc. 7:20).  Yeshua Himself said that "there is no one good, except God alone."  The Apostle Paul says, "Let God be found true, and every man a liar" (Rom. 3:4).

In seminary, I was introduced to the Hebrew phrase "lovingkindness and truth."  It's made up from the words "chesed," meaning covenant love, loyalty, faithfulness, graciousness, godly action.  The Hebrew word for "Truth" is "Emmet".  Taken together, you have a name for God.

So how is truth applied to atone for sin?  What is truth, if I might sound like Pilate?  Scripture teaches Yhwh's Law is truth (Torah, Ps. 119:142).  Yeshua said He was the truth (Jn. 14:6), and that Yah's word is truth (Jn. 17:14, 17).  Y'shua is the word of God (Jn. 1:1-3) made flesh, that took up His Sukkah (feast of Sukkot ~ tabernacles/booths, Jn. 1:14) among us, perfectly fulfilling Torah (God's righteousness), not abolishing or nullifying it (Matt. 5:17-19) to become our propitiation, effectively atoning for our sins (Rom. 3:25).

That's how Prov. 16:6 works!  Through Chesed and Emmet, Lovingkindness and Truth, iniquity is atoned for.  It is the person of Y'shua haMashiach Himself.

Blood Moon: Mainstream Media and a Call to Prayer - Israel News

Blood Moon: Mainstream Media and a Call to Prayer - Israel News

In this article, Bob O'dell, co-founder of Root Source, offers a refreshing and optimistic insight on the Blood Moon Phenomenon.

I've posted some clips of his article below.  The full article can be read by clicking the link above.

So what about the Shemittah year predictions from Jonathan Cahn? Well, so be it, but we ask in response, does the fact that Blood Moons and Shemittah are coinciding on the very same year mean for sure that the impact of these events must be exactly the same? And is God so one-dimensional that he is all about judgment all the time? Hello! Redemption anyone?
The Shemittah work by Jonathan Cahn is quite good, and likely signals some level of judgment. But it seems to us that the Blood Moons and a Solar Eclipse at the North Pole are a very different phenomena. One could easily imagine there could be two very different storylines happening simultaneously.
If the Shemittah is about judgment, then why can’t the simultaneously occurring Blood Moons be about redemption! The God I have fallen in love with is the One who lives to bring us all to redemption much more than he desires to bring us all to the judgment we deserve! “For with the LORD there is lovingkindness, And with Him is abundant redemption.” [emphasis mine]
My beliefs in the redemptive nature of the Blood Moons are detailed partially in lessons 4, and then in lesson 5 and 6 of the free Blood Moons series I recorded for Root Source in the last few weeks. I say ‘detailed partially’ because my first goal is not to convince anyone of what I believe, but rather give viewers the tools to make up their own minds about all the theories. I’d rather you learn to ask really good questions, even of my views, than to simply accept my views!
image: http://www.breakingisraelnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/blood-moon1.jpg
blood moonNow what about the call to prayer? Mark Biltz and I, while having somewhat different views of the meaning of the Blood Moons, agree in principle that God loves Israel and will care for her. As such I am honored to join with him in his call to prayer for the peace of Jerusalem on Saturday April 4th, at 11:58AM GMT, 7:58AM Eastern, 6:58AM Central, 4:58AM Pacific, to pray for 4 minutes and 44 seconds while the moon is totally engulfed in the earth’s shadow.

This is not only the world’s shortest blood moon in history; it is the world’s shortest Passover eclipse in history too!
Praying Psalms 122 for the peace of Jerusalem, as we are exhorted to do by King David himself, is a biblical, unifying prayer that all Christians and Jews can pray.
But why are we taking such a not-so-dire approach to this lunar eclipse, when the Jewish sages have said that lunar eclipses are a bad omen for Israel? Because they also give a concluding remark in that very same paragraph of tractate 29a, that is overlooked by everyone it seems:
“But when Israel fulfills the will of the Omnipresent, they need have no fear of all these [omens] as it is said, “Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the nations, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven, for the nations are dismayed at them, the idolaters will be dismayed, but Israel will not be dismayed.”
So dear Christian friend, please consider whether you believe Israel is, overall, in the will of God right now? If you say yes, then perhaps God is telling us that they will be quite safe in His hands! But believing even that does not mean that there is no reason for prayer! Indeed we should all join in with King David and pray for the peace of Jerusalem this Saturday morning at a local time that you can find right here.
When there is peace in Jerusalem, there will be an increased measure of peace in the world. Therefore, this prayer is a prayer for the ‘world’. In fact, given that this prayer was authored in the heart of God, before it was authored by Kind David, we can even say that it is in fact ‘universal’ in nature.
A cynical mainstream media may even make fun of us for praying for the peace of Jerusalem during a less-than-five-minutes lunar eclipse. But, some of us really do believe that any time spent praying for the peace in Jerusalem is time well-spent. Those who might demean this action will suffer in return no ill will from me, nor, I hope, “from us”, yet they should be wary of standing in any way against the welfare of Israel, or they might find themselves in opposition to someone much more powerful – and I don’t mean even the mighty, ancient King David, but the Almighty Ancient of Days.

Who is like Elohim?

I was reading this passage this morning... a beautiful reminder about who the true Yahweh is!

11 Who is like you among the gods, Yahweh?
Who is like you—glorious in holiness, awesome in praiseworthy actions, doing wonders?f
12 You stretched out your right hand;
the earth swallowed them.
13 In your loyal love you led the people whom you redeemed;
in your strength you guided them to the abode of your holiness.g
14 Peoples heard; they trembled;
anguish seized the inhabitants of Philistia.
15 Then the chiefs of Edom were horrified; great distress seized the leaders of Moab;
all of the inhabitants of Canaan melted away.
16 Terror and dread fell on them;
at the greatness of your arm they became silent like the stone,
until your people passed by, Yahweh,
until the people whom you bought passed by.
17 You brought them and planted them on the mountain of your inheritance,
a place you made for yourself to inhabit, Yahweh,
a sanctuary, Lord, that your hands established.
18 Yahweh will reign as king forever and ever.”

Many Events, One Thing!

There are many events taking place in our world right now.  Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled on so many fronts.  For one person to study and be on top of them all, it requires a lot of time... but then, it is so easy to get sidetracked on rabbit trails, distractions, disinformation if you will.

My wife has got onto me about getting "distracted" with some of these things which do not really matter.  I am so thankful for her, indeed, she really keeps my feet planted on the ground sometimes!  All of this to say, there are many watchmen with different areas of interest, and while these all have their place, a picture of hopelessness and despair can be painted.

Isaiah 8:11-13 (NASB)

11 For thus the Lord spoke to me [a]with mighty power and instructed me not to walk in the way of this people, saying,

12 “You are not to say, ‘It is a conspiracy!’
In regard to all that this people call a conspiracy,
And you are not to fear [b]what they fear or be in dread of it.
13 “It is the Lord of hosts whom you should regard as holy.
And He shall be your fear,
And He shall be your dread.

Indeed, a terrible picture is painted of the last days in God's Holy Word.  It is a terrible time coming upon us.  And you know, the Father has given my wife and I revelations, sometimes confusing, sometimes overwhelming... but He's showing us that His work is done through our walks with Him.  As the old hymn says "And He walks with me and He talks with me, and He tells me I am His own...", and it really is about the love (agape) we share, as we "tarry there," on this roads journey to the celestial city.

So be encouraged today, and throughout life's circumstances.  It REALLY IS about walking by faith, having a confident, loving joy in the One who rules on His throne from heaven.  He laughs when He looks down on the strivings of the wicked, and all their plan against Him (Ps. 2).

I like to watch BPEarthwatch and suspicious observers, with their satellite imagery of the sun, and the massive solar flares which would, if we were close enough, vaporize the earth!  The sun is so immense, and powerful, though scientists say it is one of the cooler stars.  It is nothing but a ball of energy, that still mystifies and puzzles us!  My God created that star!!!

We think we are all bad because we develop a nuclear bomb, but my God breathed a star in place!  And the rulers of this world think they are going to disthrone Him, or usurp His rule somehow?  Thwart His plans?

He who sits in the heavens laughs,
The Lord scoffs at them.
5 Then He will speak to them in His anger
And terrify them in His fury, saying,
6 “But as for Me, I have installed My King
Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”

Their day is coming.  Just as Yeshua experienced in His life all that the nation of Israel went through ("Out of Egypt I called my son," etc.), so will the true Church share Yeshua's fate.  When it looks as if the enemy has killed, put to death the true Church (whom I'm sure it will call extremeist fundamentalists), then will come victory, and the apocalypse of the King Yeshua the Messiah, returning with His saints, and collection the children of Israel from the ends of the earth (i.e. the true rapture, 1 Thess. 4, 5).  Amen.  Your name be honored Abba.  Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Ps. 47- a Preview of the Return of Messiah

Yesterday I was reading in Psalm 47, and I was just totally amazed.  The Yhwh opened my eyes to see or realize things in this Psalm I don't ever recall seeing before!  This Psalm is a Psalm of rejoicing in Yhwh, the holy one of Israel, and pictures Him working deliverance, or salvation, for the people of Israel, and indeed, Himself being king over Israel, putting them in their land.

The reason Protestants misunderstand, is because they reject (in the majority) the Tanakh as the basis, or foundation of the Brit Hadaschah (New Testament, or Covenant).  and they think it is otherwise!

First off, the Hebrew scriptures start their verse numbering in the Psalms with the superscription, which English Bibles usually just take as the section heading or leave it as 'superscript.'  But this tells us in Psalm 47 that this song was "written for the music director (which, gentlemen, the choir in the temple was made up of men!)

v.1 All you peoples, clap your hands.b
Shout to God with a voice of rejoicing.
In Philippians, we are taught by Rabbi Paul to "rejoice in the Yhwh always, I will say it again, rejoice!" (Phil. 3:1, 4:4).

For Yahweh Most High is awesome,c
a great king over all the earth.
A common Biblical theme, that Yhwh Sabaoth (of hosts~ angelic armies), is king over the earth, the most high, Elyon; and, He is to be feared, something lost in most Christian circles!

He subdues peoples under us
and nations under our feet.
He chooses for us our inheritance,
the pride of Jacob whom he loves. Selah
He, Yhwh Sabaoth, is the one who subdues or conquerors, Israel's enemies under them. He chose the land of Canaan, or Palestine (old Philistia~ Israel's ancient foe), to give to the children of Ja'acob, and it is their Pride!

God has gone up with a shout,
Yahweh with the sound of a [shofar].
Sing praises to God, sing praises.
Sing praises to our king, sing praises.
For God is king of all the earth.
Sing praises with understanding.d
God reigns over nations;
God sits on his holy throne.

Here we see God, Elyon Sabaoth comes, of goes up with a shout! With the sound of a trumpet (in hebrew, shofar, the ram's horn) the instrument given by the Israelis' when going into battle. This is where, beyond acknowledging that Israel's peace, military dominance, and possession of the land of ancient Canaan are from Yhwh, we see in verse five the rallying signal given by Yhwh Himself for the final battle (also known as Armageddon, when the nations of the world are gathered against Israel, synonymous with Psalm 83?).

One reason why this passage is so powerful, is that we can see here it's parallel teaching by Rabbi Paul, in the Brit Hadashah. 1 Thessalonians 4

16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

This seems to parallel the eschatological (end time) teaching of the deliverance of Yhwh found in Psalm 47.  and for those with a Biblical worldview... this is bringing to completion the good news, the Euanggelion, the consummation of Yhwh's plan, the covenant He made with Abra'am, Yisac, and Ja'acob.

The forgiveness of sins, based upon the suffering of the Messiah, the son of man, and justification because of imputation of His righteousness is based upon the teaching found in the Prophet Isaiah, chapter 53.  And to this Rabbi Paul also alludes in his letter to the diasporoa Romans in Romans 3:19-31.

17 Then we who are alive, who remain, will be snatched away at the same time together with them in the clouds for a meeting with the Lord in the air, and thus we will be together with the Lord always.

And so with Rabbi Paul's teaching, in accordance with the basis of the Christian faith, the Tanakh, Rabbi Paul teaches that the dead in Messiah, and then those living believers, will be caught up to be forever with Messiah, as he places His people in the land of Yisrael never more to be uprooted, under His physical reign upon the earth!

There are so many other scriptures in the Tanakh and the Brit Hadashah, connecting these teachings, but for now, it will have to be another post.

Rabbi Paul also speaks about the salvation of all Israel in Romans 11, which ties in with Psalm 47.  Another hint for those who are hungry: the "fullness of the Gentiles" is explained to us what that is in Genesis 48:19 where Jacob blesses the children of Joseph.

Let those who have ears hear!  Shalom!

Flying Horses, Horse-feathers & the End Times

Recently, a flying horse was seen galloping through the air in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  To most westerners, and to most naturalists, this seems utterly absurd, and surely something done in photoshop.  But I want to suggest that for those who hold a Biblical worldview, this should not catch us so offguard.  Horses running or flying, through the air is not unfamiliar when it comes to Biblical history.  The most famous case of flying horses is when it was time for the prophet Elijah to ascend to heaven.  His chosen successor Elisha would not quit following Elijah, but persisted in staying with him...

2 Kings 2:11 As they were going along and talking, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire and horses of fire which separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind to heaven.
12 Elisha saw it and cried out, “My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and its horsemen!” And he saw Elijah no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.

Another account in the Bible records a time shortly later, in the life of the prophet Elisha, when he and his servant are surrounded in the city where they live by the king of Aram and his army:

216 And he said, “Don’t be afraid, for moreare with us than are with them.” 17 Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Yahweh, please open his eyes that he may see,” and Yahweh opened the eyes of the servant, and he saw, and look, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. (2 Kings 6).

But even before this, for those familiar with extra-Biblical Hebraic literature, the first account of a horse pacing, galloping in the air before men was during the lifetime of Enoch, who was king of the earth for two hundred and forty-three years, until Adam died (Jasher 3:17).

After Enoch reigned on the earth, teaching men the ways of God, and teaching kings wisdom, the angels wanted Enoch to come to heaven and rule over them as he did over the sons of men on earth (v. 23).

"27 And at that time the sons of men were with Enoch, and Enoch was speaking to them, and they lifted up their eyes and the likeness of a great horse descended from heaven, and the horse paced in the air;

28 And they told Enoch what they had seen, and Enoch said to them, On my account does this horse descend upon earth; the time is come when I must go from you and I shall no more be seen by you.

29 And the horse descended at that time and stood before Enoch, and all the sons of men that were with Enoch saw him.

30 And Enoch then again ordered a voice to be proclaimed, saying, Where is the man who delighteth to know the ways of the Lord his God, let him come this day to Enoch before he is taken from us.

31 And all the sons of men assembled and came to Enoch that day; and all the kings of the earth with their princes and counsellors remained with him that day; and Enoch then taught the sons of men wisdom and knowledge, and gave them divine instruction; and he bade them serve the Lord and walk in his ways all the days of their lives, and he continued to make peace amongst them.

32 And it was after this that he rose up and rode upon the horse; and he went forth and all the sons of men went after him, about eight hundred thousand men; and they went with him one day's journey."

So we see here Biblically speaking, horses running through the air, or even pulling chariots of fire (ufos?) is not something out of the question.  But still, it is not all that usual.  It seems the horses appear moving through the air when men of God are being summoned, or they are being protected by angelic forces.

The horse that was galloping through the air in Jeddah, S.A., is not given by a Biblical prophecy per se.  Muslims are living, along with Christians, in a time filled with end-times expectations!  No doubt this horse seen in the air is taken (and according to some of the comments posted on the flying horse video) as a sign for Allah, and encouragement for the  Muslims to continue to pursue a global Caliphate (global dominance), subjecting all the world to Sharia rule, (out of which comes the One-World leader)?

The Bible does tell us that in the last days, the deceivers of mankind, the Antichrist (i.e. man of Torah-lessness) and the False Prophet will be able to do deceiving signs and wonders, even calling fire from heaven.
Rev. 13:13 And he performs great signs, so that he even causes fire from heaven to come down to the earth before people. 14 And he deceives those who live on the earth because of the signs that it has been granted to him to perform on behalf of the beast, telling those who live on the earth to make an image to the beast who has the wound of the sword and yet lived.

Another great warning is given. Those who have not loved the Truth (Yeshua said "I AM the Truth, the Way, and the Life" John 14:6) will be given over to the delusion in order that they may be judged! In 2 Thessalonians 2, the Apostle Paul warns the Thessalonians of the Torah-less One, 9 whose coming is in accordance with the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 and with every unrighteous deception against those who are perishing, in place of which they did not accept the love of the truth, so that they would be saved. 11 And because of this, God sends them ⌊a powerful delusion⌋ e so that they will believe the lie, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth, but delighted in unrighteousness.

If you have not, call on Yeshua the Messiah.  He is coming at the end of the false Messiah's 7 yr. reign, and King Yeshua will establish his One-Thousand year reign on earth and reign with his saints.  At the end of this time on earth, Satan will be released to deceive the nations again a short time, and then will come the great judgment, and everlasting perfect righteousness and holiness.  Sin and sorrow will be of the past, and everything will be made new.

Dan. 2: 44 And ⌊in the day of those kings⌋,y the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will ⌊never⌋z be destroyed, and the kingdom will not be left for another nation,a and it will bring an end to all these kingdoms, but it will stand ⌊forever⌋.b

Ebola Scare - Rise of the NWO

10 Then he said to them, “nation will rise up against nation and kingdom against kingdom. 11 There will be great earthquakes and famines and plagues in various places. There will be terrible sights and great signs from heaven.    Luke 21:10-11

It's almost predictable watching the Ebola predicament unfold.  Not that I thought this might happen, but it makes perfect sense, looking at God's word, and expecting a terrible empire to arise in the last days.  And with the Elitist and New Ager/Earth Worshipper goal of Global Depopulation (Georgia Guidestones say a sustainable population is 50,000,000 worldwide!)

David Vose reports that this Ebola crisis arose at the same time as a UN Vaccination drive, and in the same areas visited by the Vaccination agencies.  Coincidence?  Highly unlikely!  That is why with the manufactured FEAR the media is hyping, to a panic, and with the Enterovirus among schoolchildren.  This will enable the government to depopulate the public, gain and seize control, isolate undesirables as "victims," or infected, and finish them off as they see fit.

Clearly, God's judgments are falling on America, as America has fully turned its back on the One who gave it its propsperity and power.  And unless the American people turn back and repent of forsaking God's ways, and His commands, then this judgment will continue and will culminate in the destruction of this nation (Amos 9:6).

The One-World leader is coming.  He is the Torah-less One.  He will attempt to change the times and festivals, and will demand worship of the human populace, from the very temple the Jews are preparing to build now.  Our only hope is found in Yeshua (Jesus), the Messiah who came, died for our sins, and will soon return to establish His millennial reign upon the earth.  Those who trust Him now, and confess Him as Savior and Master, will reign with him during the Millennium.

Daniel 8; Parceling Up of America, and Rise of The AntiChirst

The similarities with Daniel 8 are uncanny to the situation with ISIS in the Middle East, and America's promise of intervention, though with "no boots on the ground!"

While I was observing, behold, a male goat was coming from the west over the surface of the whole earth without touching the ground; and the [i]goathad a conspicuous horn between his eyes. He came up to the ram that had the two horns, which I had seen standing in front of the [j]canal, and rushed at him in his mighty wrath. I saw him come beside the ram, and he was enraged at him; and he struck the ram and shattered his two horns, and the ram had no strength to withstand him. So he hurled him to the ground and trampled on him, and there was none to rescue the ram from his [k]power. Then the male goat magnified himself exceedingly. But as soon as he was mighty, the large horn was broken; and in its place there came up four conspicuous horns toward the four winds of heaven.

Over and over on the news, they talk about the aspect President Obama promised, "no boots on the ground!"  It's like the LORD is saying, "The Goat that moved over the earth without touching the ground!"

What is interesting, is that, though the scriptures promise the Goat defeats this Ram, standing at the river, after it "magnifies itself," rejoicing in its victory, it is broken!  Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying America is the Goat.  I think the Goat is the UN.  The "conspicuous horn" is America.

I believe this is God's judgment on our land, where attacks from all the forces rumored to be around US and in US, will play out their revenge and aggression against this once great land.

And so what happens when America is taken down, and divided into four parts?  The next passage tells us:

Out of one of them came forth a rather small horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the [l]Beautiful Land.10 It grew up to the host of heaven and caused some of the host and some of the stars to fall to the earth, and it trampled them down.

The small horn, also mentioned in Daniel 7, known as the Antichrist, comes to power!  Here we have a time sequence.  He rises to power after ISIS has been defeated by the U.N. being led by the American military.

11 It even magnifieditself [m]to be equal with the [n]Commander of the host; and it removed theregular sacrifice from Him, and the place of His sanctuary was thrown down.12 And on account of transgression the host will be given over to the hornalong with the regular sacrifice; and it will fling truth to the ground and perform its will and prosper. 13 Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to that particular one who was speaking, “How long will the vision about the regular sacrifice apply, [o]while the transgression causes horror, so as to allow both the holy place and the host [p]to betrampled?” 14 He said to me, “For 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the holy place will be [q]properly restored.”
Daniel 9 tells us that the Antichrist, the "small horn" rises to power after confirming a peace treaty with Israel for Seven years, or the Seventieth Shabua predicted in Daniel 9:24-27.

All these things are quickly coming to pass.  Where do you stand in your relationship to Yeshua Messiah?  Is he Master and Savior of your life?  Or do you only pay Him lip service?  If you have never called on Him, or never truly recognized His Lordship over your life, ask Him to forgive you your sins against Him, and ask Him to come into your life and reign over you as He promises He will to those who turn from their sinful lives.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His [a]only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the [b]only begotten Son of God.

Romans 10:9 [a]that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, [b]resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, [c]resulting in salvation.
