Revelation 8:9

and a third of the creatures which were in the sea and had life, died; and a third of the ships were destroyed

Could it be the Seals of God's judgements pictured in Revelation are being fulfilled in ways we don't expect?  It appears life in the Pacific ocean (1/3 of the World's Oceans) is dying.
