Are We Losing Time?

This morning I was reading again in the book of Revelation, reading in chapter 10.  I came across a passage I had read a week or so ago, that seemed to have stuck out as I read it.  Something about how there will no longer be an interval of time.  The passage is Rev. 10:5-7:

Then the angel that I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven. He swore an oath by the One who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it: “There will no longer be an interval of time, but in the days of the sound of the seventh angel, when he will blow his trumpet, then God’s hidden plan will be completed, as He announced to His servants the prophets.”

As I'm going through my subscribed videos on YouTube, and scanning through titles of various others, I see one saying the "End of the World August 2013."  Of course as a Christian, I believe that before "the end," the Antichrist comes first, and rules for seven years.  Then Messiah returns, executes justice on his enemies, and establishes His kingdom for one thousand years.  Then "the End" will come, with sinners being thrown into the eternal hell, along with Satan and his legion of angels and demons (Nephilim spirits, neither human nor animal).

Turns out this video on the end of the World, is really speaking about the end of the Old Order, and the beginning of the New World Order, which still may begin this month in a tangible way.  Having been a Philosophy major, I knew that there were several theories out there as to what time is, and that today it is largely accepted and taught that time is a fourth dimension in which we live and move.  And this new age video is teaching that time, from the end of 2012, through the year of 2013, is gradually diminishing to nothing.

This struck me as very curious, having seen this in the Bible.  There is something to it.  We know from scripture that God is outside of time, and it is always taught that He can look down upon any moment in time from His perspective being outside of it.  I believe that, though I have questions as to how that works, what it actually looks like.  But maybe when I think about it, I"m over-philosophizing it.

One of the prophecies about the last times given in Daniel 12 is that knowledge will increase.  Now with the rise of computers, Internet, artificial intelligence, etc., information doubles every couple of years or so.  Time travel has long been an object which certain scientists were trying to figure out.

Some who do research on the aliens conclude that they are the beings spoken of in the Bible, and that they are in fact inter-dimensional beings.  Possible able to navigate in the dimension of time, and other dimensions we don't understand yet.  One hypothesis is that these Nephilim and fallen angels, when they "reveal" themselves, they may give mankind the secret to time, thus fulfilling the scripture in Rev. 10, that there "is no longer an interval of time".

It is hard to fathom what that could mean, having grown up and lived my life, judging and basing everything in my life from a fixed point, and then succeeding moments based upon that initial frame of reference (i.e. my birth, the landing of the Pilgrims in New England, the birth of Jesus, etc.).

But if things play out as taught by the New Agers, with the coming of the New World Order, we are all going to have some major shifts in our worldviews.  Knowing that God's word is truth, I know the leader of the Globalist empire will only reign for seven years, then Messiah Yeshua will return.  He will reign for one-thousand years, the great judgment will occur, then the everlasting age will finally begin, and as the old hymn says, "When we've been there 10,000 years, bright shining as the sun, we've no less days to sing God's praise, than when we first begun!"

Parallel Universe or Astral Projection

I was just reading an article on foxnews.com about scientific evidence for alternate universes, and the old threory that "time travel may be possible." But it seemed the type of time travel they cited, an astronaut aging at 1/48th a second less than us because he's traveling in orbit around the earth. And so the scientists say that he is not "experiencing the same present" as us. Well duh. He's in orbit around earth, and not too many people do that up in the outer limits of our atmosphere. There is no one around him, or maybe his fellow space colleagues. In actuality, it seems that he is experiencing the same present, though it might have a different effect on his body. Any person who is there with him to observe will observe the same phenomenon, "the same present." It's sounds sorta like the age-old question, "If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" If no one is around to observe him, does he really age faster? Okay, I digress.

The real thought that inspired this blog, is that it reminded me somewhat of a study I did of religion preparing to go to Africa. In one book I was reading of African witchcraft, which is really more accurately called Astral-Projection, where your body is one place, but your spirit separates and goes to another place in the world. Some of the scientific claims these physicists were making sounded like they were making claims of a similar sort:

What does it all mean? Let's say you're in Oklahoma visiting your aunt. But in another universe, where your atomic particles just can't keep up, you're actually at home watching "The Simpsons." That may sound far-fetched, but it's based on real science.

"When you observe something in one state, one theory is it split the universe into two parts," Cleland told FoxNews.com, trying to explain how there can be multiple universes and we can see only one of them.

http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2010/04/05/freaky-physics-proves-parallel-universes/

So here’s the question: Are these physicists trying to make a legitimate case for astral-projection? One of the world’s most ancient and valued documents tells us “the body without the spirit is dead.” This was penned by one of the half brothers of Jesus of Nazareth, the apostle James (James 2:26). They talk about communicating with and existing within other universes (realms) without knowledge of what is latent within these realms.

It seems that media and those who have power to direct culture are trying to desensitize us toward leaving our bodies, and in past decades there has been a great fascination with 'out of body' experiences. This has been the topic of many a movie. A recent movie where controlling or possessing another body was a prominent theme of the movie is Avatar. Some, like the cult classic Star Wars shows people possessing great abilities and performing super-human feats when they are “possessed” by “the force,” a dualistic power of evil and good, by which you could supposedly harness, though in some instances it appeared to harness the individuals.

Many other books, movies, and even “boardgames,” encourage us to go beyond “this universe” to contact the spirit realm. This practice has been known in Western history and in eastern literature as an occult practice, and it is clearly forbidden in the Bible. The Holy Bible, which gave shape to the once greatest, most free nation on earth teaches that it is appointed once for man to die, then to face judgment (Hebrews 9:27). There is a great movement under way today to unite all the religions of the world, but this is clearly not compatible with the teachings of any of other world religions (Deut. 18:10-12).

The reason this is so within the Bible, is that the LORD reveals to us that all other spirits out there to communicate are angels. Some are sent for good purposes, but others are rebellious to the ways of the Almighty God, and opposed to His purposes. Their intent is to deceive humankind, and to keep them from knowing the truth about God, as revealed in his holy Word (1 Jn 4:1; Gal. 1:6-8; Rev 12:10).

So if it really is near the end, Satan and his angels would be in high-gear working to deceive mankind and lay the groundwork to keep man deceived for when the catching away takes place (1 Thess. 4:16-17). Otherwise, people would realize their mistakes, repent and turn to God to be saved. So all in all, things are right on course.

“Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God, and there is no other.” (Is. 45:22)
